Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 3243: Chapter 3243: It’s a Big Deal

“Hmm.”

Qian Yizheng nodded.

Luckily, they didn’t rush to the Merciful Continent. At their age, it’s best to grow up in the Seasonal Moon Plane.

“Staying put is not necessarily bad either. Matters in the Seasonal Moon Plane must be handled properly.”

…

In the courtyard where the Great Elder resided, the sleeping Great Elder was rudely awakened by Min Yi.

The Great Elder helplessly sat face to face with the Eldest Young Master, “Eldest Young Master, why aren’t you sleeping at this late hour? Is there something you need?”

“I just visited the Saintess Sect. The clan guards there told me that days ago, the Elders from the Qinglan Sect were there to inquire about the current situation of the Saintess Sect?”

“This…”

The Great Elder was taken aback, seemingly not expecting Min Yi to ask about this matter.

But he didn’t feel anything was wrong with it. As a subordinate sect respected by the Saintess Sect, their survival is very likely tied to the Saintess Sect.

They worry that if the Saintess Sect departs or is destroyed, the major clans might target them next, so it’s understandable they came to inquire about the Saintess Sect’s situation, right?

He felt there was no need to make a big fuss about it, right?

“Indeed, that’s the case. Elders from the Qinglan Sect did visit, but they didn’t cause a stir, so the major clans didn’t bother them.”

“Tsk.”

Min Yi clicked his tongue lightly and laughed.

This Qinglan Sect is quite clever, having stepped forward yet still managing for all prominent clans to think they bear no influence. That’s no small feat.

“Great Elder, have you ever considered why the Qinglan Sect jumped in to inquire about the Saintess Sect at such a crucial time?” He asked.

“This…”

The Great Elder hesitated, looking at Min Yi.

Could it be that his speculation was incorrect, and the Qinglan Sect had a different purpose?

“According to what I know, the disciples of the Saintess Sect eliminated in the desert were only a large portion. A small portion had already hidden themselves and should still be near Yin City.”

“What, something like this actually happened?” The Great Elder was shocked.

Originally assuming the Saintess Sect had left as a whole, he didn’t expect some had stayed behind.

Moreover, these individuals remained utterly hidden; they have no idea where these people went, making it no small matter indeed.

“I’ve verified with Uncle Qiushi the list of Saintess Sect disciples, but the precise identities are unknown; roughly five hundred people are missing.”

Min Yi said.

“Five hundred people!”

The Great Elder was astonished; five hundred is not a trivial number. If these people are hiding around, they have significant potential.

At this point, he could almost be certain the Qinglan Sect had a purpose in jumping forward now; there must be something left within the Saintess Sect the Qinglan Sect desperately wants to bite into, right?

He didn’t believe the Qinglan Sect was driven by selfless sacrifice for the greater good, merely for their own interests.

“This matter really needs careful plotting; thus, I will immediately have people monitor the Qinglan Sect, no, no, indeed all the sects allied with the Saintess Sect need monitoring. As for manpower…”

“If manpower is insufficient, we can borrow some from my maternal grandfather’s side. I can send a message to him,” Min Yi promptly said.

If these sects truly have something going on, they must be eradicated. They aren’t pushovers, having come so far. If they let the Saintess Sect develop in secret, wouldn’t that render them quite useless?
