Chapter 3173: Chapter 3173: Prioritizing Water for Noble Clan Young Masters?

“Alright, let’s do it.”

He followed the Family Head to a horse carriage.

“Do you have any matters to discuss?”

“It’s like this, Qing Family Head, several Family Heads, I just calculated that the food and water we brought, along with what the Saintess Sect left behind, are insufficient to send such a large number of people out of the desert.”

A Family Head said with a worried expression.

The food that was previously taken by the men was also seized back, but even when combined, it’s not enough for us to leave this desert.

“Not enough?”

Qing Qiushi was taken aback, then quickly understood.

“Yes, we left in a hurry back then, not expecting that so many people would be brought into the desert by the Saintess Sect, nor did we think of preparing food for them.”

The other Family Heads also looked unhappy. The desert is a place where everyone faces life and death directly.

“As for food, at most those with a higher cultivation level can go hungry for a couple of days, but water is different. In this weather, especially in the desert, not drinking water for three hours can make anyone faint.”

A Family Head tapped his forehead lightly with a fist, feeling extremely troubled.

“How about prioritizing water for the Noble Clan Young Masters?” one Family Head suggested.

“How can we do that?”

Qing Qiushi widened his eyes and looked at that Family Head.

“Everyone here is from Yin City and its surroundings. If this gets out, how will we, these major clans, continue to live? Although the major clans are of a higher status, in the end, without commoners, who will uphold our prosperity?”

Should it be known that the major clans disregarded the lives of commoners and gave all the water to their own young masters in the desert, would the major clans still have any credibility?

“Then what should we do? These resources are simply insufficient to support us out of the desert.” The Family Head who made the suggestion spread his hands and asked in return.

He made the suggestion out of desperation. Even though they are usually high above, they don’t take the lives of so many people lightly.

“Let’s think of another way; there has to be a solution.” Qing Qiushi pondered for a moment and said.

Of course, he also had no solution at the moment. They were too eager to pursue. Previously, each Family Head separately purchased supplies, and no one thought to buy extra for emergencies.

“Uncle Qiushi, Uncle Qiushi.”

Just as they were troubled and distressed, a voice came from not far away.

Qing Qiushi turned to look, and saw Min Yi leading a group of people, waving at him. Seeing that he was alright, the heavy stone in Qing Qiushi’s heart finally lifted.

“You all think of a way first, I’ll go over to take a look.”

With that, he walked towards his eldest young master.

“Uncle Qiushi, what’s the situation now? Have the people of the Saintess Sect been eliminated?” Min Yi eagerly asked as he saw Qing Qiushi walking up to him.

“Not sure yet, a part of us stayed behind to handle the aftermath, while the main force went to pursue them,” Qing Qiushi said.

They were mainly afraid that if none of them were around, some people with ulterior motives might secretly keep certain techniques from the Saintess Sect that should not see the light of day again. So, they left a few people behind to completely destroy them all.

And he, to find his family’s eldest young master, took this task upon himself.

Anyway, with others from the major clans watching, he wasn’t afraid of being suspected of any foul play.

“Where did you all go? Why didn’t I see you earlier?” he asked.

“Went to pursue them.”

Min Yi pouted, feeling a bit unhappy that the two disciples ran away.
