Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2744: Chapter 2744: So This Is the Outcome?

Now that it’s been discovered by Prince Zhan, the person who is most protective of his people, being found out trying to frame Fu Ming, even a simple death would be considered light.

You have to know, back then Prince Zhan pulled the Retired Emperor down for the Emperor, let alone now, the Retired Emperor has been directly imprisoned.

”I... I...”

Lord Fu lifted his gaze, glanced at the secret guards watching them from a distance, and quickly averted his eyes as if terrified.

What could he do now, being watched? He believed that any movement from him wouldn’t simply result in being kicked; it might even cost him his life with a single blow.

”It’s okay, don’t be afraid. As long as we insist that the things were done by Fu Ming’s family, we won’t be in trouble,” he said in a low voice.

What was wrong with his actions? If these things were discovered on him, death would be the only outcome.

But if they were found on his elder brother, it would be different. With Fu Ming’s protection, the Emperor might at most remove his brother from office and investigate, but ultimately leave him alive.

If worse comes to worst, he would just return all the money and wealth they gained at home. After all, they are brothers; what’s there to bicker about?

”No, not confessing?”

Being frightened, Fu Family’s son finally came to his senses.

”Yes, yes, we can’t confess. Just say it was Fu Ming’s family who did it. What does it have to do with us? We are the most innocent ones.”

He began to brainwash himself; as long as he didn’t confess, nothing would happen to him. As for Fu Ming’s family, even if something happened, it would be well-deserved. Who told Fu Ming to be such close brothers with the Emperor and Prince Zhan? It’s only fitting they be used by them.

The secret guard listened to the family discussing and ground his teeth.

If it weren’t for the master’s orders to extract something from this family’s mouth, he really wanted to directly deal with these heartless people.

The Fu Family rose thanks to Fu Ming’s father passing the imperial examinations in the capital and becoming an official. Yet these people, having gained benefits from Fu Ming’s family, turned around wanting to betray them.

”No whispering, all of you stay honest.”

He drew the sword from his hand, aiming it directly at those few people. He didn’t want to hear a word from them anymore, afraid he couldn’t resist the urge to kill.

...

On the third morning, in the imperial study room.

The Emperor looked at the ’evidence’ sent to him, along with the confessions from Lord Fu and his family, and laughed in anger.

The people under the Retired Emperor were truly talentless. Such obviously fabricated evidence, do they really believe outsiders like him were fools who couldn’t see through it?

”What do you plan to do with it?”

Qian Jiyun sat casually on the side, asking him.

”What do you think?”

The Emperor retorted, asking him how to handle it?

”I don’t know. Shouldn’t this be up to you?” Qian Jiyun shrugged. He’s not in that position, so how would he know what to do?

”Evidence is conclusive. Anyone closely connected with Fu Tianming’s family will be directly dealt with,” the Emperor said.

He didn’t want to keep any of those treating him as a fool, especially since they even wanted to shift all the blame onto Fu Ming’s family. Fu Ming was his brother, closer to him than blood brothers.

Before Fu Ming went to Huayan Peak, he promised he would take good care of the Fu Family.

And this is the result?

”Mm, then let’s proceed as you said.”

Qian Jiyun nodded, and the matter was thus settled.
