Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!

Chapter 646: Chapter 646 - Skip the Engagement, Let’s Get Married

Though my in-laws knew that we kind of had done some naughty things together already, for the sake of the whole family’s reputation, me and Caius were still given separate rooms inside the mansion. They were rooms at the opposite ends of the same floor where my parents-in-law’s room was also located. My parents-in-law’s room was right in the middle of the same hall acting like a barrier between our rooms.

I couldn’t help but find it funny since it was quite similar to the wedding traditions of some of the more conservative countries back on Earth. They also say that it was unlucky to let the bride and the groom see or be with each other before the wedding. We still see each other during meals though but we are not allowed to stay in a place if it was just the two of us.

I do not mind the strictness and I consciously avoided close contact with him as well to respect his parents wishes. Since we have to be apart, I made sure there were no kisses, hugs or anything as well since the whole mansion were filled with staff so it was the same as doing those in public. These seemingly small actions that I removed from our daily interactions turned out to be a big deal for the grumpy general as he looked gloomy all the time after the room arrangements were set.

Caius stayed quiet for the next couple of days, only speaking and sharing his thoughts when asked. My mother-in-law was going around busy as a bee arranging our private wedding. I understand that she was excited that her only son is getting married but it is just that, she pulled me around whenever she completes her the tasks as well.

Before we knew it, the third day of my stay in the Astrantia estate has arrived and the mansion has transformed to a festive but at the same time sacred atmosphere. The main hall where our meals were served was transformed into a wedding and reception hall to entertain guests.

The wedding itself was quick and can be described as ”by the book”. There were no extra words, no extra customs or teary speeches. It was standard military nobility marriage. I wasn’t disappointed at all though since it was actually very efficient. Caius and I both wore military type wedding attire which I honestly quite enjoyed since it was very novel for me to dress differently for a wedding.

My parents-in-law still invited the required number of witnesses from nobility. Even the king and queen dropped by although just for a bit. Aurum and his people did not attend and my father-in-law only responded with a helpless smile when I asked where they were.

After the marriage, Caius and I were required to greet all the visitors by visiting each and every table. We received gifts and drank liquor offered to us from each table. I don’t know how strong Caius’ alcohol tolerance is but his face looked stoic though his cheeks are starting to turn pink by the fifth table whoch was only halfway through all the guests.

His drinking finally stopped at the tenth table. Caius was still walking properly so I thought he was fine but once we were in the hosts’ table, he slumped on the seat and leaned his head on my shoulder. His breath reeked of the strong alcohol he drank one after the other.

Seeing him distracted and a bit tipsy, my hand automatically snaked to the area between his legs underneath the table. The table and the cloth that covered it were convenient enough for others to not to know what I was doing to him. As my hand came in contact with his privates, Caius’ body stiffened and he whined. It was more of a mewl I guess since I am sure it was only the two of us who heard it.

He looked up and stared into my eyes. His eyes were glossy and he is obviously getting horny by the minute. I couldn’t help but lean in and give him a kiss on the lips which he immediately reciprocated. I kept the kiss brief and chaste for now since we are still in front of the guests though my hand stayed busy otherwise.

Caius has started to take heavy and deep breaths with the constant rubbing motion of my hand. He turned his head a bit and hid most of his face on the crook of my neck. This was effectively muffling his soft moans and whines.

Just as Caius’ body has started shivering from pleasure, I took back my hand from underneath and rested it on the table instead. I heard a shuddering breath and frustrated grunt from him as his hand gripped my clothes and he started rubbing his face on my neck.

He started murmuring, ”Wife... please... I want more...” Yeah. He is drunk, alright. He would never beg for these things if he was sober.

It has been about 5 hours since the whole wedding ceremony and after party has started. For the last hour, my husband has become so touchy and whiny because of the alcohol that the guests are starting to look our way. I looked towards my parents-in-law and they nodded their head and told me to bring Caius out of the dining hall.

Before the wedding started, they have already assigned us a new room that was obviously for the honeymoon. It was a separate room at the top most floor of the mansion. At that time, it sounded romantic and a very good idea that it was a bit secluded from all the other floors but now that my new husband is drunk, bringing him up there will definitely be a tough thing to do.

I can’t just teleport out in the open with all the guests watching. I at least have to show them that I am guiding him out the dining hall and up the flight of stairs to the second floor. Once we are all clear, that is the only time I can teleport us up to the top most floor. I haven’t been inside the room yet since my in-laws said that it was a surprise so the most I can teleport us to would be on the hallway leading to it.

Damn. I can’t even carry him since women, though stronger than men is not supposed to be strong enough to carry a drunk man like they were weightless. Next time, I will forbid this guy to go past the tipsy stage.
