Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!

Chapter 292: Chapter 292 - An Embarrassing Way to Meet your In-Laws

I giggled at his tantrum due to his pent up sexual frustration and replied, ”Calm down, Void. We have to follow certain steps in things. For now, I should meet your father first and ask his permission before I eat his only son up.”

I felt his body stiffen and he used his hands to push himself a bit of the bed to part himself from me. He was speechless while looking at me with a stunned expression. He opened his mouth but no words came out. I grabbed his cheeks with both my hands and pulled his face near mine. I gave him a few soft kisses between the words of my question as I asked, ”Should we visit Aeterdumnox to meet your father soon?”

As he heard my question, he started breathing heavily as his dove in to kiss my lips fiercely again. He started to grind his hips on to my honey pot, making sure I feel how hard he was and how much he wanted me. I heard him grunt in pleasure and the next thing I know, the surroundings changed and I dropped on a soft queen-sized bed with dark blue sheets with Void still being frisky on top of me.

As I felt the sudden shift of mana and saw the change in surroundings, I lifted Void off of me with a slight push on his chest. I smirked at him and asked, ”Would you care to tell me why you teleported us away? Did you just kidnap me and brought me some place else, Void?”

His intoxicated eyes looked at me and he removed my hands off of his chest to remove the space between our bodies and kiss me again. I turn my head to the right to stop him and asked again, ”Aren’t you going to answer my question, Mr. Kidnapper?”

He replied with his still obviously aroused and frustrated voice ”You said you wanted to meet my father soon so I brought you here. We’re inside my room in the palace and on my bed. I did not kidnap you, my future wife.”

I laughed at how he was obviously more eager for me to meet his father than I do. I did tell him I want to meet my future father-in-law soon but I did not say that it has to be now. That is honestly too soon if you ask me. Oh well, since I am already here, might as well meet my future in-law and do my observations to map this place and have it sent to Laerad while I am at it.

I pushed Void of me as he tried to rebel with a couple of whines, grunts and a scowl on his face like a kid on the onset of a tantrum. I had to stop him now before my hands end up red and sore again from what he wants me to do next for him.

I left his soft and luxurious looking bed a bit reluctantly but I had to think of my priorities first. On his end, he could only sigh since he knew he won’t be able to change my mind once I made my decision. I wore my previous worn clothes that I placed in my storage before he almost tore them while removing them from my body. When he saw that I am already dressed up, he finally put some clothes on. We tried to look as presentable as we can though me coming out of his room as a start won’t make my image or any first impressions of me look any better.

I went out of his room in a nonchalant manner since there is nothing much I could do with the current circumstances. I saw how surprised the attendants inside the palace are which is proof that his guy must not be the promiscuous type at least. I guess it was the first time that their cold and aloof prince brought a women inside his personal chambers. I smiled at them as a greeting but when they saw Void walking behind me, they scurried away like their lives depended on it.

I turned around to give a questioning look at Void who just stared at me innocently as if he did nothing to scare the attendants away. I grabbed his hand and held it with mine. I whispered, ”Tour me around the palace and he whole territory later.” He nodded at me with a doting face that tells me ”I’ll do anything you want, whenever you want it.”

I rolled my eyes at his cheesy facial expression and pulled his hand to get him back to the present from his obviously dreamy thoughts. He walked ahead of me this time and started leading me around the palace’s rooms and halls like a trusty tour guide.

Instead of bringing me to his father’s chambers immediately, he led me out of the palace then pulled me towards the living and working areas of the rest of the members of the dark elves’ race. He explained to me the usual tasks that people do to earn a living and how their lives go about on a daily basis.

I listened attentively to everything he said since every bit of information will help me and Laerad design our version of Aeterdumnox inside the new world tree realm. As I looked around towards the areas he was pointing out, the first thing I noticed was how their sanctuary was a land of eternal dusk. The weather is quite gloomy I should say and the air was cooler throughout the days due to the absence of sunlight. Their clothing was not as crude as I saw in my memories of how the dark elves lives before. It looked like they have adopted the clothing that are now being used by humans.

AS for the normal professions, they do a bit of farming but with very limited variety and low harvest yield since there are only a handful of crops that could grow with areas with no sunlight and cold weather whole year round. Some of the people also take care of some animals as food since dark elves are omnivores anyways. Eating what they termed as ”human food” will only be enough for them to stay functioning though, not to make them healthy.

We spent about a little over two hours surveying every nook and cranny of the sanctuary designated for the side of the dark elves. I mapped everything earnestly and also took note of all the information that Void told me about how his race spend their daily lives. I sent all of it immediately to Laerad for his reference and so that he could work on it as soon as possible.

At the start of our little tour, I already noticed a number of beings following us discreetly but still not as discreet that I won’t be able to notice them, of course. They are hidden in the shadows making sure not to ruin our little date around the territory, I guess. As for Void, I know that he knows about each and everyone of them but he just doesn’t care about their existence since their is no killing intent felt from the observers.

After our little tour of the sanctuary, he suddenly hugged me tight and teleported away much to the surprise of the little spies that have been following us for a couple of hours now. We reappeared back in the main hall of the palace then he pulled me like we were almost running to the inner areas. It made me confused since none of the spies were able to catch up to us as of now.

I just sighed and followed him obediently, being accustomed on how weird his mind works or how he likes to do whatever he wanted without any plans whatsoever. I have a feeling that he has finally remembered to bring me to his father which is the main reason why I was here in the first place. I don’t know what issue he has with his father but I felt that he was delaying it to anger his father on purpose, most likely for petty reasons.

We finally stopped running right in front of a huge black door adorned with golden door handles. He knocked respectfully a few times then he looked back at me and winked naughtily. I sighed and laughed a bit at his pretentiousness. If he really respected his father, we would have met with him first before he brought me around for a tour that lasted a couple of hours. His father must have been feeling quite impatient while waiting for us to greet him formally.

We heard a deep hum of a male voice from inside the door then he pushed the door with all his might like he wanted it to crumble to the ground. He held my hand and pulled me towards the throne where his father was sitting. When he saw us approach, he immediately stood up seemingly wanting to welcome us instead. When we were already near the king,Void suddenly walked slower and pushed me forward instead. He then hid behind me like I was a shield or something. Now, he’s scared of his father’s punishment, isn’t he?
