Shinrabansho: Myriad Souls

When Susumu answers a call from his dead first love, it sets off a chain of events that should have killed him... instead, it marks him. A Noh-Face yokai strips away pieces of his identity and leaves him half-transformed, cursed with a “Cinderella Deadline”... He has only twenty-four hours to hunt down the creature that stole his face before he loses everything... his humanity, his identity, and his mind.

His only hope is the SSDS: Shinohara Spiritual Detective Services. He collides with a violent, pint-sized yuri-obsessed prodigy, a sweet-but-lethal vampire, a fox-eared angel with questionable priorities, and a shapeshifting tanuki menace who can turn into anything from a girl to a missile.

Together, they drag Susumu into Tokyo’s yokai underworld, where Noh-Face murders spread terror across the city and the truth behind the death that shattered his life waits like a blade in the dark.

Will he become the monster he’s chasing?

If you’re looking for urban fantasy, yokai, horror, found-family, chaos, harem, sentai, absurdity, slapstick, comedy, tragedy, romance, identity, horror, fanservice, gender bending and unhinged supernatural shenanigans — this story is for you.

True Genres: Action, Comedy, Ecchi, Fantasy, Gender Bender, Girls Love, Harem, Horror, Martial Arts, Mystery, Psychological, Romance, Slice of Life (For those chapters), Supernatural, Tragedy (But I could only choose 9)

This book is the fully refined version of my third novel, and the entire first volume is already complete. I will be publishing it as a full, polished work. I know exactly what constitutes a successful and good story.. no more unrealistic expectations. Right now I’m just telling the story I want to, however it works out.

It will not be perfect... even after a full rewrite.

But the entire first book is complete, and I will be publishing the whole thing.

Expectations:

You’ll smile.

You’ll cry.

The MC will be gender bent by the end of the first book.

The MC will hurt—a lot. Blood. Broken bones.

The MC will change and grow.

There will be action and real fights.

The main cast will be entirely female.

There will be plenty of yuri.

There will be an absurd amount of kissing and cuddling.

There will be no smut.

There will be plenty of ecchi fanservice.

And this story won’t end with No Face, No Life. It’s only the beginning. The series will continue as an ongoing serialized saga.

No set schedule for releases. A very popular author that I know doesn’t publish regularly and her work is still wildly popular.
