Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

The assistant confidently told Zhao Rong, saying:

“Brother Zhao Rong, you’re right, it must be Miss Lili, the beautiful Yu Lan, and the beautiful Xuelian, they’re calling for help…”

After speaking, the assistant frowned and asked:

“Brother Zhao Rong, didn’t you just tell the three beauties to wait outside the cave? Could it be they secretly followed us into this very strange cave?”

Zhao Rong rushed toward the place where the sound was coming from while telling the assistant, saying:

“Assistant, don’t talk nonsense, just follow, Let’s go rescue the three beauties from the front first…”

As soon as Zhao Rong and the assistant went forward,

they were surprised to see that Miss Lili, the beautiful Yu Lan, and the beautiful Xuelian had been stuck inside a rock.

Seeing the scene before him, Zhao Rong wanted to laugh but felt embarrassed, saying:

“Miss Lili, beautiful Yu Lan, beautiful Xuelian, didn’t I ask you to wait outside? How did you three come in on your own accord…”

Miss Lili was stuck on top, feeling uncomfortable all over, she said:

“Brother Zhao Rong, you don’t know, shortly after you entered the cave, a corpse was washed out from the cave…”

The beautiful Yu Lan was stuck in the middle, she strived to crawl up, saying:

“Moreover, that corpse had its eyes open, as if it couldn’t rest in peace…”

The beautiful Xuelian was at the bottom and felt she was almost bent over, saying:

“Brother Zhao Rong, we were really scared, so we rushed into the cave… But after we entered the cave, we discovered you and the assistant had already moved far ahead, so we chased after you from behind, but because we couldn’t see the path clearly, accidentally fell into this rock gap and got stuck, but fortunately, we called out loudly to draw you here, otherwise, the three of us would have surely died here today…”

The assistant stepped forward to rescue the three beauties from the rock while telling Zhao Rong:

“Brother Zhao Rong, I forgot to tell you, it’s the dry season in our village now, and during this dry season, every day a corpse comes out of this cave…”

Upon hearing the assistant’s words, Zhao Rong felt creepy, saying:

“Assistant, how many days does the dry season in your village last? For a corpse to be washed out every day, how many corpses must be in the cave then?”

The assistant together with Zhao Rong first rescued Miss Lili,

he said:

“365 days a year, half of it is dry season, and half of it is rainy season in our village…”

Upon hearing, Zhao Rong felt very bewildered, saying:

“Assistant, then, according to your notion, during the dry season, a corpse is washed out of this cave each day, which means during the 132 days of the dry season every year, 132 corpses could be washed out from this cave?”

The assistant nodded assuredly, saying:

“Brother Zhao Rong, you’re right, it’s just so eerie…”

Zhao Rong rescued the beautiful Yu Lan stuck in the middle while gasping deeply, saying:

“On our journey of adventure, we’ve been to many places, encountered all sorts of strange things, but haven’t come across such a strange place, where water flows out during the dry season, and each day a corpse can be washed out…”

After speaking, Zhao Rong also rescued the beautiful Xuelian stuck at the bottom.

When Zhao Rong finally rescued the three beauties from the rock gap,

they immediately told Zhao Rong about the corpse they had seen, saying:

“Brother Zhao Rong, you don’t know, the corpse we saw earlier didn’t look like a modern human, but rather like ancient humans…”

In a hurry, Zhao Rong asked:

“Was the corpse wearing Qing Dynasty clothes?”

Miss Lili shook her head in denial, saying:

“Brother Zhao Rong, we’ve watched Hong Kong zombie films since we were little, we’re very familiar with the clothes worn by Qing Dynasty people, but the clothes worn by the corpse that came out of the cave earlier didn’t look like Qing Dynasty clothes, more like Song Dynasty clothes…”

The beautiful Yu Lan didn’t agree, saying:

“Brother Zhao Rong, I think the corpse was wearing clothes that weren’t from the Song Dynasty but the Tang Dynasty…”

The beautiful Xuelian immediately took out her mobile phone, searched for clothing from various dynasties,

and then provided the correct answer, saying:

“Sister Lili, Sister Yu Lan, you’re both wrong, the corpse washed out was wearing clothes from the Spring and Autumn Warring States period, Qin state attire…”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong was stunned,

he furrowed his brow, saying:

“Could it be that this cave before us is a time tunnel, otherwise, how could ancient humans be washed out of it?”

Listening to Zhao Rong’s words, the assistant next to him took a long breath,

he immediately felt less scared, saying:

“If this cave is a time tunnel, then there’s really no need to be afraid, after all, there are no demons here…”

Zhao Rong suddenly discovered a waterway,

he said to the three beauties and the assistant beside him:

“Miss Lili, beautiful Yu Lan, beautiful Xuelian, assistant, do you think it’s possible that during the dry season, each corpse is washed out of the cave through this Underground Dark River…”

In an instant, before Zhao Rong could finish his words,

Miss Lili discovered a piece of rag floating in the water.

She picked up the rag while telling Zhao Rong:

“Brother Zhao Rong, you’re right, this Underground Dark River must be a waterway transporting corpses…”

The beautiful Yu Lan stepped forward curiously, saying:

“Since it’s the dry season now, everything is withered, where does the water in the cave come from…”

The beautiful Xuelian pointed to a nearby stalactite and told everyone, saying:

“Sister Lili, Sister Yu Lan, assistant, Brother Zhao Rong, haven’t you noticed, that the stalactite not far away is spewing water?”

Upon hearing this, Zhao Rong immediately led the three beauties and the assistant toward the stalactite not far away.

As Zhao Rong rushed, he kept saying:

“It’s possible that every corpse washed out of the cave comes from that stalactite…”

The assistant curiously asked, saying:

“Miss Lili, beautiful Yu Lan, beautiful Xuelian, do you think there’s a possibility that the stalactite is a time tunnel…”

The beautiful Xuelian took out a high beam flashlight, pointing it at the stalactite in the dark that was spewing water,

then she said:

“As long as we unravel the mystery of that stalactite, then we can uncover the secrets of this cave where water flows during the dry season and corpses can be washed out…”

But when Zhao Rong reached the stalactite, he was surprised to find that it wasn’t a stalactite, but a flesh-made Taishui…

When the three beauties saw that water spewing from a Taishui could form a river,

they were amazed, saying:

“I think there must be a fountain similar to Bao-Pu Spring beneath this Taishui, otherwise, relying on such a small Taishui before us, how could it spew so much water from its belly?”
