Immortality Begins with Breathing Exercises

He thought carefully for a moment and finally recalled the man’s name from memory.

”Xie Biao, what’s the matter?” Lin Zheyu asked.

”Martial Uncle, the herbs you need have already been delivered to the alchemy room. Elder X will begin alchemy in half an hour, and I’ve come to inform you.”

Xie Biao said respectfully.

His gaze towards Lin Zheyu carried a hint of fanaticism and awe.

Just like Lin Zheyu, Xie Biao was also from humble beginnings, and Lin Zheyu, who was exceptionally admitted into the Infinite Sect midway and then soared to success, naturally became someone he revered.

”Good, thank you, Martial Nephew.”

”If you have any confusion in cultivation, as long as I can help, feel free to come to me.”

Lin Zheyu said with a smile.

Last time, he had casually mentioned it, and Xie Biao kept it in mind, even coming specifically to remind him. He was a disciple with insight and initiative.

”You’re too kind, Martial Uncle. Being able to assist you is my blessing.”

Xie Biao restrained his excitement and said with a smile.

”You’re quite good.”

”In the coming days, I’ll be cultivating here. If you have any questions about cultivation, just come and find me.”

Lin Zheyu patted Xie Biao on the shoulder and said with a smile.

Xie Biao had just become an Inner Sect Disciple. Inner Sect Disciples have limited opportunities to interact with the elders of the sect and receive their teachings.

They only have a few times a month.

Hearing Lin Zheyu’s promise, Xie Biao was overjoyed and thanked him repeatedly.

Lin Zheyu waved his hand, closed the courtyard door, and headed towards the alchemy room.

The elixirs of the Infinite Sect are provided by the main sect, and Bitao Pavilion does not have its own alchemist. All the alchemists are in the main sect.

Upon arriving at the alchemy room, Lin Zheyu entered smoothly.

Having a big reputation is beneficial. Even the alchemy rooms that are not open to ordinary disciples were accessible to Lin Zheyu at will.

”Greetings to Elder Three and Elder Five.”

Upon entering the alchemy room, Lin Zheyu cupped his fists and saluted the elders inside.

Lin Zheyu had met Elder Three a few times and even had a brief exchange at a banquet last time.

It was with the permission of Elder Three that Lin Zheyu gained the qualification to enter the alchemy room.

As for Elder Five, it was Lin Zheyu’s first time meeting him.

Elder Five was a renowned alchemist of the Infinite Sect. Although not the most powerful, he was the most productive, a maniac for alchemy.

Elder Five’s only interest and hobby was alchemy.

Even his martial arts practice was to produce better elixirs.

”You really came and intend to be an alchemist, huh?” Elder Three said with a smile.

Elder Five raised his head, glanced at Lin Zheyu, and then lowered his head to continue studying the texts.

Lin Zheyu took a glance. The text was documenting the method of crafting the Primordial Elixir.

Elder Five seemed to be brushing up last minute.

”The disciple is merely curious about alchemy.” Lin Zheyu said.

”It’s best if so.”

”After cultivating the Primordial Infinite True Skill, you will have ten types of True Intent, so before becoming a Grandmaster, it’s unsuitable to condense other True Intents.”

Elder Three reminded.

How could he not see Lin Zheyu’s curiosity about alchemy?

However, to become an alchemist, one must cultivate a true skill containing the True Intent of fire, condensing a unique True Force.

”Yes, disciple understands.”

”I’m just curious about the True Force of an alchemist.”

”The power of demons, demon puppets, and even the force of gloom all rapidly diminish after dawn, evidently fearing the sun.”

”I’m curious if the True Force cultivated by alchemists, hot as fire, would be more effective in restraining the demon’s Demon Essence.”

Lin Zheyu explained.

Becoming an alchemist didn’t hold any interest for Lin Zheyu.

Possessing Source Power, he didn’t need to boil herbs into decoctions or even refine elixirs in the traditional way.

By placing the herbs for refining elixirs together, the mysterious energy produced by the Source Power naturally absorbed the beneficial energy and elements from the herbs.

Lin Zheyu had no need to laboriously refine them into pills.

To become an alchemist, at the very least, one needed to cultivate a True Intent related to fire.

To become the best alchemist, one needed to cultivate only True Intent related to fire, making the True Force as pure and scorching as possible.

The alchemical results are optimal.

The alchemists of the Infinite Sect all cultivated only the True Intent related to fire as Transforming Force Martial Artists.

Lin Zheyu was curious about how pure and yang-like such a cultivated True Force could become, and how effective it was in restraining demons.

”You might be disappointed; the alchemist’s True Force, though somewhat effective against demons, isn’t ideal.”

Elder Three shook his head with a smile.

He patiently explained, ”All things in the world are interconnected. Water can nourish wood, but excess wood absorbs water. Strong water depletes its force through wood. Water can overcome fire, but too much fire dries up water...”

”Everything is relative.”

”The True Force of Martial Artists contains too few laws of the world to be significant.”

”The restraint effect of True Force on Demon Essence is mainly due to the mutual cancellation of two different energies—True Force and Demon Essence.”

”The biggest influencing factor is the strength of True Force.”

”The special effects contained within True Force on restraining Demon Essence are not very pronounced, just an additional factor.”

”...”

Elder Three explained in detail.

He elucidated the True Intent, which Martial Artists perceive from heaven and earth, infusing the laws of the world into the spirit, forming a unique meaning.

The explanation was somewhat intricate.

It’s a pure understanding from a Martial Dao perspective.

But Lin Zheyu, who had integrated his past life’s knowledge, understood it more simply, clearly, and straightforwardly.
