Immortality Begins with Breathing Exercises

Chapter 453: Chapter 177: Infinite Sect (Part 3)

’Sigh...’

’In the Lee Family, my talent is considered quite good, but compared to Mr. Zhao, it’s like I’m a total waste.’

Lee Mengxi sighed in his heart.

For several days, he watched as Lin Zheyu gradually mastered the Great Power Vajra Fist after just getting his hands on it, unleashing significant power.

Such immense talent and insight made him deeply envious.

Puff—

Whoosh—

Lin Zheyu was fully immersed in the Great Power Vajra Fist, blasting his fist, tearing through the air with a hiss.

This fist skill is well-deserving of the Great Power Vajra name, with its tremendous power.

Having practiced for only eight days, Lin Zheyu felt that the fist skill’s power was much stronger than the Purple Thunder Tyrant Fist.

If paired with the Buddhist Vajra Skill, it could achieve an indestructible vajra body, commanding the winds and clouds, and smashing through any barriers with invincibility.

When cultivated to its peak, its power is horrifyingly unmatched.

However, the Great Power Vajra Fist emphasizes the unity of fist and Zen, the integration of inner and outer, form and spirit in harmony, and the union of Martial Dao and Zen Buddhism.

To cultivate the Great Power Vajra Fist to its peak requires a deep sense of Buddhism, study of Buddhist laws, and comprehension of Buddhist dharma.

Lin Zheyu had little interest in Buddhist laws and dharma.

He disliked the many restrictions and preferred to be unrestrained, free, and act according to his wishes.

Fortunately, this fist skill does not require the practice of Buddhist dharma to be cultivated.

The Great Power Vajra Fist emphasizes using vajra methods to show a compassionate heart. With compassion in mind, one performs tyrannical vajra deeds, promoting good, stopping evil, and subduing demons and monsters.

These outcomes can be achieved through true intent as well.

After a long time, Lin Zheyu stopped, slightly panting.

He stood silently where he was, reflecting on his boxing practice and pondering the mysteries of the fist skill.

”Missing a bit of murderousness, lacking a bit of compassion.”

”If assisted by Slaughter True Intent and Compassion True Intent, the power of the Great Power Vajra Fist could increase significantly.”

Lin Zheyu mused to himself.

He was not following the Buddhist path, just using the martial dao true intent path to cultivate the Great Power Vajra Fist.

The Turtle Breath True Intent cultivated from Turtle Breath True Skill serves as compassion, and the Tyrannical True Intent cultivated from Tyrannical True Intent serves as vajra.

The fist skill executed like this can’t compare with the authentic Buddhist Great Power Vajra Fist, but it is somewhat similar.

However, cultivating this fist skill brought an unexpected surprise: Lin Zheyu discovered that the integration of Turtle Breath True Intent and Tyrannical True Intent became more harmonious.

It was no longer as distinctly separate as before.

Where there is compassion, there can be vajra with glaring eyes, so how can there not be a bit of Buddhist nonchalance in tyranny?

”Mr. Zhao, today is the last day of the martial dao exchange meet. Later, we will pack up and head back.”

”Will you go back with me, or would you like to stay here?”

Lee Mengxi walked over and asked, seeing Lin Zheyu had finished practicing.

Lin Zheyu only mentioned that he was noticed by the Infinite Sect and taken as a disciple but didn’t disclose much more.

Lee Mengxi didn’t know when Lin Zheyu joined the Infinite Sect or if he’d completed his apprenticeship.

”I’m not going back to the Lee Family.”

”I have brought all essential items with me, and you can deal with the rest.” Lin Zheyu contemplated and said.

There wasn’t much to do, even if he went back with Lee Mengxi and them to the Lee Family.

Initially, he went to the Lee Family mainly to avoid assassination from the Soul-Calling Tower.

But now, whether in terms of strength or background, he has confidence and doesn’t need to worry about assassination from the Soul-Calling Tower anymore.

There’s no longer any need to return.

”Oh, after joining the Infinite Sect, I will abandon my current identity.” Lin Zheyu thought for a moment and said.

Seeing that they weren’t surprised but rather curious, he chuckled softly.

”My real name isn’t Zhao Hao; sorry for deceiving you for so long.”

”My original name is Lin Zheyu, but as for where I came from and my real age, I won’t disclose.” Lin Zheyu stated.

”Mr. Zhao, um, Mr. Lin, you really kept us in the dark,” Lee Mengxi complained with a smile.

He had suspected that Zhao Hao was just an alias for Lin Zheyu, but he didn’t mind.

”Quickly, show us your original appearance. Let me see if Mr. Lin is truly as handsome as a tree.” Lee Mengxi teased.

Lee Mengqi and Lee Wensi blinked, staring at him curiously, eager to know what Lin Zheyu truly looked like.

Lin Zheyu laughed, rubbing his face vigorously, releasing control over his facial muscles and skin, gradually restoring his appearance.

He twisted his mouth and contorted his face, making the facial muscle and skin restoration look more natural.

Having disguised himself for so long, he was a bit unaccustomed to reverting all at once.

”Wow!”

Lee Wensi exclaimed in surprise, hurriedly covering his mouth with his hand.

He blinked and looked at Lin Zheyu, his eyes brimming with a peculiar brilliance.

”So young!”

”Mr. Lin is truly a remarkable person, and compared to me, only a bit lacking.” Lee Mengxi extended his hand, gesturing, and remarked with a smile.

”Mr. Zhao...Mr. Lin, you look so young; did you use a Beauty Elixir?” Lee Wensi commented, looking enviously at Lin Zheyu’s delicate and fair skin.

”I am like this naturally.”

”But Wensi, you’re not bad either.”

”Take good care, and when you advance to the Bone Marrow Refining Realm, cleanse your bone marrow, you may look even younger than me.”

Lin Zheyu quipped with a smile.

He maintained his original appearance for a while and then reverted to Zhao Hao’s appearance.

”Only you have seen and heard the name and appearance of Lin Zheyu, remember to keep it a secret.”

”Zhao Hao got into some trouble, and I don’t want it to spill over to my original identity.”

Lin Zheyu specially reminded.

”Understood, we promise not to disclose it.”

”But the fact that Zhao Hao was noticed and taken as a disciple by the Infinite Sect is known to Xiong Yonghao and the others too. Won’t they connect the dots?”

Lee Mengxi said with some concern.

”It’s fine.”

”I made a point to remind them not to spread the word about me being noticed by the Infinite Sect. They aren’t the types to gossip unnecessarily.”

Lin Zheyu stated.

He simply didn’t want to attract too much trouble for himself.

If people find out, it doesn’t matter.

He just needs to stay low in the Infinite Sect for a while, and his abilities will soon improve considerably, no longer worrying about previous troubles.

...

The next morning.

As the martial dao exchange meet concluded, martial artists gradually departed.

The once bustling Wuji Manor suddenly felt a bit desolate.

Monk Puxuan also left.

In this martial dao exchange meet, besides Lin Zheyu successfully claiming the unbeaten title of a hundred matches, others failed under Puxuan’s interception.

Wuji Manor, Songhe Studio.

Under the guidance of Infinite Sect disciples, Lin Zheyu arrived at the main hall.

”Greetings, Mr. Yang.”

Lin Zheyu greeted Mr. Yang with a bow.

”Hmm.”

”This appearance looks much better.”

Mr. Yang observed Lin Zheyu’s original look, smiling.

”Later, come back with me to the Infinite Sect.”

”The Infinite Sect is divided into the main sect and eight sub-divisions, with Bitao Pavilion being the branch stationed in the Wuling City area.”

”There’s not much difference between the headquarters and branches; both allocate martial dao cultivation resources based on contribution points and talent potential.”

”Every year, the Infinite Sect holds a sect-wide competition internally, and if you can shine in the contest, you can enter the headquarters.”

”The cultivation resources there are beyond your imagination.”

Mr. Yang said with a smile.

He briefly introduced the situation of the Infinite Sect to Lin Zheyu, giving him a general understanding of it.
