Immortality Begins with Breathing Exercises

Chapter 378: Chapter 156: Turtle Breath True Intent (Part 3)

”Of course.”

”The process of cultivating the Turtle Breath True Skill is also a process of enhancing your control over your own essence, qi, and spirit.”

”To cultivate the Turtle Breath True Skill to the level of understanding the Turtle Breath True Intent, you need to elevate your control over your body’s essence, qi, and spirit to an extremely astounding degree.”

”Once your control power reaches that level, the difficulty in merging various true intents during transforming force will be greatly reduced.”

”However, the difficulty of cultivating the Turtle Breath True Skill is high and will occupy time for cultivating other true skills, so it’s just not recommended.”

Mr. Wang said with a smile.

”Thank you for the guidance, senior,” Lin Zheyu said, cupping his hands.

”It’s not so much guidance, but just a reminder.”

”It’s rare to see a young person, starting to cultivate the Turtle Breath True Skill at such a young age, and able to cultivate the stripped-down version of the Turtle Breath Skill to perfection, such aptitude is truly rare.”

Mr. Wang said with a touch of emotion.

”I see, from this perspective, cultivating the Turtle Breath True Skill indeed can reduce the difficulty of merging various true intents.”

Lee Mengqi’s eyes showed realization.

After reminding them, Mr. Wang no longer paid attention to them and returned to leisurely reading.

Leaving the library, at lunchtime, they gathered once, Lee Mengqi and her brother Lee Mengxi went on to their own matters.

Lin Zheyu took the acquired cultivation technique back to the courtyard.

”Young master, do you need me to brew a medicinal soup for you?”

Seeing Lin Zheyu about to start practicing martial arts, Yalan asked softly.

”Yes, please brew some for me.”

Lin Zheyu nodded.

The medicinal soup used by the Lee Family is much better than the Blood-Nourishing and Bone-Strengthening Soup.

After Yalan left, Lin Zheyu took out the Turtle Breath True Skill and began to study it.

In the Lee Mansion, it’s unknown how many martial artists like Mr. Wang can see through his strength.

Before confirming that he can conceal it from them, Lin Zheyu doesn’t dare to use source power to enhance.

”So this is the true intent diagram, truly magical, it has a breath similar to the blade intent on Celestial Blade Peak.”

Lin Zheyu opened the Turtle Breath True Skill secret book directly to the page with the true intent diagram.

The true intent diagram of the Turtle Breath True Skill is a vivid image of a symbolized turtle, which is known for its long lifespan, rumored to live for a thousand years.

Lin Zheyu gently touched the true intent diagram and felt a cool, delicate, faint true intent aura flowing into his body along his arm.

In an instant, Lin Zheyu felt as if the symbolized turtle on the diagram had come to life.

”What a mystical true intent diagram, subtly, it seems as if I can feel the symbolized turtle’s breathing and pulse...”

Lin Zheyu murmured.

Experiencing the true intent diagram for the first time, he felt extremely novel.

”No rush, first turn the Turtle Breath Skill into Turtle Breath True Skill, and then promote it to the Fifth Layer.”

Lin Zheyu withdrew his hand, and the faint true intent aura disappeared.

The symbolized turtle on the true intent diagram returned to being a vivid painting.

The Turtle Breath True Skill comprises eight layers, the first four layers primarily serve to lock life essence and qi blood, reducing the loss of life.

The latter three layers enhance life force by resting with the Turtle Breath True Intent through its true vigor.

In this process, the martial artist’s recovery ability improves.

The middle Fifth Layer is a turning point, requiring a complete understanding of the Turtle Breath True Intent to proceed with subsequent cultivation.

”Can such a special thing as the true intent diagram truly be enhanced through source power insights?”

Lin Zheyu felt uncertain.

Understanding the true intent diagram requires comprehending the true intent aura contained within, observing the true intent diagram, and immersing the mind into it.

Lin Zheyu was unsure whether placing his hand on the true intent diagram could carry the aura into his consciousness space.

He took a long breath, cleared his mind of distractions, and began reviewing the Turtle Breath True Skill from the beginning.

He memorized the entire content of the Turtle Breath True Skill and imprinted the true intent diagram into his mind.

The cultivation difficulty of the Turtle Breath True Skill is very high, involving meridians, internal organs, qi blood, and even controlling bodily secretions, requiring a lot of memorization.

Even with Lin Zheyu’s foundation in the Turtle Breath Skill, it still took him nearly five hours.

It wasn’t until nightfall that he completely memorized it.

Among this, it took him nearly two hours to imprint the true intent diagram into his mind.

”Whew~~”

Lin Zheyu took a long breath, closed his eyes, and released his thoughts.

The data in his consciousness blurred for several breaths before becoming clear again.

[Heavenly Dao rewards diligence]

Name: Lin Zheyu

Source Power: 48

Skills:

Blood Boiling Secret Skill (Perfection)

Reversed Chaos Forbidden Skill (Perfection)

Qianyuan Skill·Modified (Perfection)

Turtle Breath True Skill (First Layer 0%)

Golden Swan Skill (Tenth Layer 100%)

Spiritual Mysterious Body Skill (Fifth Layer 100%)

”First, convert Turtle Breath Skill into Turtle Breath True Skill.”

”Although Turtle Breath Skill is just a truncated version of the first three layers, I have already cultivated it to perfection.”

”Re-cultivating to elevate Turtle Breath True Skill to the Third Layer should not require much Source Power.”

”Once it’s converted to the complete Third-Layer Perfection of Turtle Breath True Skill, I can continue to elevate it to Fourth-Layer Perfection.”

Lin Zheyu pondered to himself.

Only by reaching Fourth-Layer Perfection can he know if the data for the Fifth Layer can appear.

If it can, it indicates that the comprehension and cultivation of the True Intent Diagram can be enhanced with Source Power.

Yalan served the now-cooled medicinal soup, which Lin Zheyu drank.

Although practicing Turtle Breath Skill minimally transforms the body and doesn’t require much energy, it shouldn’t be underestimated.

The small energy requirement is relative compared to other cultivation techniques.

To be safe, Lin Zheyu consumed two Essence Qi Elixirs before beginning the enhancement.

”Use five units of Source Power to elevate Turtle Breath True Skill.”

The thought transmitted out, and a familiar sensation returned.

Lin Zheyu drifted into a momentary haze and entered his consciousness space, embarking on ceaseless cultivation.

In the courtyard, moonlight spilled over his face, calm as still water.

From within his body, a massive mysterious energy emerged, drawing the medicinal power within his abdomen to nourish his physique.

During this endless cultivation process, Lin Zheyu improved his control over his body, enhancing and refining muscles, skin, bones, and flesh.

His aura grew ever more ancient and unrefined, resembling that of an ordinary person without martial training.

After a few breaths.

Lin Zheyu opened his eyes, letting out a long breath of turbid air.

”As expected of the complete version of Turtle Breath True Skill, truly miraculous!”

”When cultivating Turtle Breath Skill, it already felt hard to improve; I never expected further optimization and enhancement opportunities!”

Lin Zheyu couldn’t help but marvel.

The master who created this cultivation technique was indeed a genius.

[Heaven rewards diligence]

Name: Lin Zheyu

Source Power: 43

Skills:

Blood Boiling Secret Skill (Perfection)

Reversed Chaos Forbidden Skill (Perfection)

Qianyuan Skill·Modified (Perfection)

Turtle Breath True Skill (Fourth Layer 68%)

Golden Swan Skill (Tenth Layer 100%)

Spiritual Mysterious Body Skill (Fifth Layer 100%)

Looking at the data in his consciousness after using five units of Source Power, Lin Zheyu saw Turtle Breath True Skill had directly advanced to 68% of the Fourth Layer.

”Unexpectedly, with my current control over my body, re-cultivating the complete Turtle Breath True Skill, five units of Source Power, can only elevate it to 68% progress.”

”I thought it could be directly enhanced to Fourth-Layer Perfection.”

”The difficulty of cultivating this technique is much harder than imagined.”

Lin Zheyu couldn’t help but lament.

Back when cultivating Turtle Breath Skill to Perfection, it consumed more than ten units of Source Power.

Latterly, while integrating the Qi and Blood Burst Skill into Golden Swan Skill and Gale Slash, a large amount of Source Power was also used.

In that process, although the realm of Turtle Breath Skill did not upgrade, his control over body and Qi Blood had increased manifold.

But even so, with his current body control, re-cultivating Turtle Breath True Skill using five units of Source Power didn’t enhance it to Fourth-Layer Perfection.

If it were an ordinary Martial Artist, it might take twenty to thirty years to cultivate to the Fourth Layer.

Not to mention achieving Perfection.

This is the case even if all focus is placed on Turtle Breath True Skill, abandoning the cultivation of other techniques.

”No wonder Lee Mengqi showed that expression when she knew I chose this true skill,” Lin Zheyu said to himself.

After the enhancement, he felt somewhat fatigued.

Even though using five units of Source Power at once wasn’t painful, it was still mentally taxing.

He rested for over ten minutes, closed his eyes again, and continued the enhancement.

The recent enhancement did not consume much of the medicinal energy.

Lin Zheyu felt there was remaining elixir energy in his abdomen and decided to expend it before resting.

”Use one unit of Source Power to elevate Turtle Breath True Skill.”

The thought transmitted out, re-entering the endless cultivation process.
