Immortality Begins with Breathing Exercises

”The more transformations of Qi Blood there are, the greater the enhancement of bone and physique during Bone Marrow Cultivation, and the greater the potential!”

Liang Song stated solemnly.

”Yes.”

”By the way, Master, do you know at what transformation of Qi Blood Ya Army broke through to the Bone Marrow Refining Realm?”

”From Mr. Ye’s discussions, I could sense a disdain in Mr. Ye’s words towards Ya Army,” Lin Zheyu inquired curiously.

”He broke through the Bone Marrow Refining Realm at the level of Qi Blood Fourth Transformation.”

”In Bafang City, only the disciples of powerful families, who receive great cultivation from a young age, can cultivate beyond the Qi Blood Fifth Transformation before breaking through to the Bone Marrow Realm.

Most civilian martial artists, and martial artists from small families or small factions, are considered fortunate to break through to the Bone Marrow Realm.

They hardly dare to expect to reach the Qi Blood Fifth Transformation before breaking through to the Bone Marrow Refining Realm.”

Liang Song said with a touch of melancholy.

He himself had a chance to break through to the Qi Blood Fourth Transformation and then advance to the Bone Marrow Refining Realm.

But unexpectedly, he encountered misfortune, lost his family, became lame, his path in Martial Dao was severed, and his life plunged into despair.

’No wonder he’s so weak...’

Lin Zheyu thought secretly.

”It’s been so long since we’ve met, let’s exchange some moves so I can see where your strength stands now.”

After chatting for a while, Liang Song stood up and smiled.

”Alright!”

Lin Zheyu replied.

The two moved to the center of the courtyard.

Liang Song glanced at Lin Zheyu, hands behind his back, and said faintly, ”Begin!”

”Hey~”

Lin Zheyu chuckled and moved, initiating an attack on Liang Song.

His strength was suppressed to the Internal Refining Realm level, without showing excess prowess.

He used the Golden Swan Skill and Wild Bull Fist to counter, combining it with the ’force’ derived from the Wild Bull Fist.

Bang bang bang~

Sounds of fists and feet clashing echoed, both moving at incredible speed.

”Not bad, to actually comprehend ’force’ from the Wild Bull Fist!”

Liang Song commented.

His evaluation of Lin Zheyu’s insight rose a few points.

Liang Song had also practiced the Wild Bull Fist, but couldn’t comprehend ’force’ from it.

Understanding ’force’ from a cultivation technique often requires alignment with one’s disposition and martial arts beliefs; it’s hard to comprehend otherwise.

And Lin Zheyu had been practicing martial arts for less than a year; what martial arts beliefs could he have?

Comprehending ’force’ from the Wild Bull Fist relies solely on powerful insight.

After about ten minutes of sparring, Liang Song believed he understood Lin Zheyu’s strength and nodded in satisfaction, stopping.

”Not bad, almost at the Mid-Stage of the Internal Refining Realm.”

”You managed to comprehend ’force’ from the Wild Bull Fist, which shows admirable insight, but without the support of martial arts beliefs, it appears somewhat superficial, pleasing to the eye but not practical.”

Liang Song critiqued.

Although he had only just begun to grasp the ’force,’ he had experienced Martial Dao for decades and had some insights.

From the sparring just now, he quickly pinpointed the issue with Lin Zheyu’s ’force.’

”But don’t lose heart; you’ve only been practicing martial arts for a year, time is still on your side for honing and enhancing.”

”Regarding ’force’ and ’intent,’ I have some suggestions you might consider. Ultimately, how to proceed will depend on you.”

”The Wild Bull Fist has some notable origins. Though only a third-rate cultivation technique, it contains ’force.’

”According to rumors, the Wild Bull Fist was a foundational technique used by a strong ancient faction to select disciples.”

”Only those who could comprehend ’force’ from the Wild Bull Fist and later transform that ’force’ into ’intent’ qualified to join the faction.”

”Nowadays, it’s uncertain if that faction still exists.”

”Still, even if that faction is extinct, its associated cultivation techniques might still be passed down.”

”If one could obtain the subsequent cultivation techniques of the Wild Bull Fist and follow that path, it could be a viable option.”

Liang Song pondered and spoke slowly.

He was just a martial artist at the Qi Blood Third Transformation himself. Though having lived long, his strength and circle limited his knowledge, and much of it was hearsay, lacking clarity.

”Oh?”

Lin Zheyu reacted, surprise washing over his face.

When practicing the Wild Bull Fist before, he had felt its extraordinary nature.

Though seemingly a third-rate cultivation technique, it painstakingly infused ’force’ within.

Lin Zheyu had trained in many Qi Blood Realm techniques, yet none contained ’force,’ whereas the third-rate Wild Bull Fist did.

This alone demonstrated the exceptional aspect of the Wild Bull Fist.

”Listen to it for reference.”

”Once you head to the Central Plains and join the Ye Family, your vision will broaden, offering more choices.”

”’Force’ pertains to ’intent,’ and concerns ascending to the Transforming Force Realm.”

”Aligning with one’s disposition and martial arts beliefs is paramount; all else is secondary.”

”Only ’force’ that resonates with disposition and martial arts beliefs can transform into ’intent,’ enabling advancement to Transforming Force.”

”My previous remarks, take them lightly; I’m just a Qi Blood Realm martial artist, my grasp on ’force’ isn’t profound.”

Liang Song chuckled and said.

As a mentor, he was somewhat inadequate, having not imparted many basics to Lin Zheyu.

Now wanting to teach, Lin Zheyu no longer needed it.

This exceptionally gifted disciple had met stronger martial artists, gaining better prospects.

”Master, you’re being modest; your words earlier have enlightened me greatly,” Lin Zheyu remarked.

His joining the Ye Family was a fabrication.

Liang Song’s words had resolved many queries for him, imparting more martial arts knowledge.

After chatting a bit more, it grew quiet in the courtyard.

Lin Zheyu had intended to introduce him to Han Tianmin and others, but Liang Song declined.

Matters with the Senluo Temple weren’t fully resolved, and he was worried about implicating Han Tianmin and the others.

With the sky darkening, Liang Song soon departed.

Lin Zheyu asked where he was staying, but Liang Song merely smiled without disclosing, leapt, and vanished from sight.
