Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Chapter 1962: Chapter 1962: Exterminate Evil Thoroughly

”Awoo!” Black Shark howled in pain as large beads of sweat rolled down from his forehead.

With a swoosh, the hand crossbow fell into Qin Yu’s hands! Qin Yu didn’t hesitate to pull the trigger!

With a bang, Black Shark’s heart was pierced through!

Thud, Black Shark fell straight to the ground!

The underlings like the eel were so terrified that they wet themselves and kept kowtowing.

”Mr. Qin, we were wrong! Please spare our lives, we were only following orders!”

Qin Yu said expressionlessly, ”Following orders? Willingly following orders, right? You all seem well, having enjoyed these past few days, haven’t you?

I’m giving you a chance, jump from here. Whether you survive or not depends on your own skills.”

Jump down?

The eel and the others turned pale and glanced at the sea, spotting several shark fins.

Sharks are highly sensitive to the scent of blood, even from on deck, and several nearby sharks were attracted.

”You don’t have to jump, just take a crossbow bolt like Black Shark,” Qin Yu said with an amused smile on his face.

The eel’s face went from green to white, and finally, he gritted his teeth.

”Mr. Qin, we did wrong. It’s only right for you to punish us; I am convinced and willing. I’ll jump! But Black Shark was our big brother; we should take him back for burial.”

”A burial? Or to distract the sharks with him, more like it? Approved! But you have to carry Black Shark down yourself.”

Qin Yu saw through the eel’s intention and smirked.

The eel’s face changed, he was doomed; his plot had been exposed! If he personally carried Black Shark down, he would certainly get covered in Black Shark’s blood.

”What’s the matter? Not willing?” Qin Yu snorted coldly.

”Willing...” The eel’s expression changed, not daring to argue, he quickly stepped forward, dragging Black Shark’s feet toward the side of the ship.

”I’m sorry, what I said was ’carry’, not ’drag’. Is that how you treat your boss’s body?”

Qin Yu took two steps forward and looked coldly at the eel.

”Mr. Qin, Black Shark is too heavy, my frail body can’t carry him!”

”Can’t carry him but won’t ask a few people for help? I’m leaving his torso to you.”

The eel turned deathly pale, getting covered in blood would make him a priority target for the sharks!

The eel’s eyes darted around: ”Fine! I’ll handle Black Shark’s torso; what are you blokes dawdling for? Hurry up and help!”

With a loud shout from the eel, the other underlings snapped out of it and hurried to help!

The eel took off his own shirt, covered Black Shark’s chest with it, then together with the others, they lifted Black Shark’s body and heaved it into the ocean.

The sharks swiftly swarmed in, furiously tearing at Black Shark’s body, and soon, his corpse disappeared, a column of blood erupting from the water!

Seizing the opportunity, the eel leaped into the sea, and as expected, the sharks paid him no attention.

The eel was overjoyed. There was a small island about five hundred meters away; if he could make it there, he could save his skin, maybe even await rescue.

The other underlings also jumped down, following the eel as they desperately swam toward the island.

Phil frowned: ”Mr. Qin, we should eradicate evil thoroughly. If they make it to that island, perhaps they could save their lives.”

How could Qin Yu let the eel continue living? Qin Yu looked at the distant island and said with a smile, ”Captain Phil, I find that little island rather unsightly. Wonder if a Celestial from the Heavenly Human Realm could destroy it?”
