Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Chapter 1814: Chapter 1814: No One to Meet

Black Shark’s eyebrows twitched, seemingly finding some sense in the words! After all, there was money to be made, so what was his hurry? With patience, Black Shark issued his orders again, ”25 degrees to starboard! Engage third gear on both engines!”

Once Black Shark’s command was issued, his subordinates hurried to correct the course and control the speed.

Soon, the Black Shark Ship proceeded in the direction Qin Yu had indicated.

This time, Qin Yu was certain and confident that the energy barrier lay ahead!

A flicker of joy appeared on Qin Yu’s face; they were close to finding Huanhai!

About fifteen minutes into the voyage, a call suddenly rang out in the captain’s cabin. Black Shark turned on the intercom to hear Eel’s alarmed voice; ”Shark Bro, fifteen nautical miles ahead is the Death Forbidden Zone! Energy interference detected!”

The Death Forbidden Zone?

With a start, Black Shark stood up, a look of terror on his face as he peered ahead!

Seeing the small islands in the distance, Black Shark’s complexion turned exceedingly unsightly! Damn it, the poor visibility in the stormy weather had nearly led them into the Death Forbidden Zone!

It was damn dangerous!

”Stop the ship! Stop the ship immediately! Do not continue to approach!” Black Shark instantly issued an order!

Minutes later, the Black Shark Ship came to a halt on the water.

”Captain, why are we stopping the ship? We haven’t arrived yet!” Qin Yu complained with a pained expression.

Black Shark gave a wry smile; ”Mr. Qin, we truly can’t go any further! Ahead is the Death Forbidden Zone! It’s the taboo zone of this part of the high seas! It swallows up over a dozen fishing boats each year! Even gargantuan ships can’t escape unscathed!”

”But, the people meeting me are ahead!” Qin Yu lied with his eyes wide open.

Black Shark shook his head decisively, a look of disbelief on his face.

”Impossible! Absolutely impossible! No one dares to enter the Death Forbidden Zone! Here, I’ll give you our coordinates, have your friend come to us! Our coordinates are xxxx.”

Qin Yu’s face darkened; he had no friends coming to meet him. These people were too afraid to move forward; with over ten nautical miles remaining, was he supposed to swim the rest of the way?

”Mr. Qin, what are you waiting for? Hurry up and call your friend!” Seeing Qin Yu lost in thought, Black Shark urged him.

Pretending to make a call, Qin Yu hummed and hawed for a while before hanging up, then spoke solemnly, ”Captain, I don’t blame you all for not daring to continue forward.

I see you have lifeboats on the Black Shark Ship; give me one, and I’ll go by myself.”

A lifeboat?

Black Shark looked at Qin Yu as if he were looking at an idiot! Was this Mr. Qin brain-dead?

Even on a sunny day, a lifeboat wouldn’t be able to survive on the high seas!

Let alone in such terrible weather! Did this Mr. Qin have a death wish? You’re free to seek death, but you should pay us our fee before dying!

Black Shark firmly shook his head, ”Mr. Qin, stop kidding around! In this weather, how could a lifeboat work? It’d probably be flipped by the strong winds in an instant, right?”

Qin Yu put on an innocent expression and said, ”I have no choice! Captain, you’re too scared to keep moving forward! My friend doesn’t want to come, insisting that I should go to them!”

Because the ship had stopped, other crew members flocked to the captain’s cabin. Hearing Qin Yu’s words, they all rolled their eyes in disdain.

”Shark Bro, is this kid playing us? Maybe he went to sea just to seek death! Maybe there’s no one to meet him at all?” Eel’s imagination ran wild.

Fuck! That just might be possible!

Black Shark smacked his head hard, how could he have been so stupid?

Seeing the impressive air about Qin Yu, he had set sail without even getting a deposit!

”Mr. Qin, you must give us an explanation, do you actually have anyone meeting you at all?”

Qin Yu gave a bitter smile; did he have anyone to meet him? Forget it; it was time to hijack the ship! After all, he knew how to steer a vessel!
