Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Chapter 1709: Chapter 1709: Good Friends

Whoosh!

Qin Yu and the others only saw a flash of gray light as a little gray dog appeared on the platform and dashed straight for the pool filled with meat!

”Urgghh, urgghh...” the drab little dog made a whining sound, gobbling up the high-quality beef brisket.

Sangba, devoutly knelt down and saluted the little dog.

Qin Yu and Mo Yuqi immediately understood that the unimpressive little dog was the Snow Mastiff King’s cub.

Upon closer observation, Qin Yu’s eyes widened in amazement!

My god, this little fellow is a Heavenly Human Realm demon beast!

How old is it? It’s already at the Heavenly Human Realm! No wonder it was afraid of Little Song!

Qin Yu carefully moved toward the Snow Mastiff cub, which remained highly vigilant, eating meat while making growling noises and watching Qin Yu with threatening eyes.

Would Qin Yu be intimidated by the Snow Mastiff cub?

Qin Yu continued to advance, keeping his senses firmly locked on the Snow Mastiff cub, ready to react at the first sign of trouble.

Qin Yu and the Snow Mastiff cub drew closer, and the cub’s wariness intensified, almost ceasing to eat and focusing all its attention on Qin Yu.

”Little guy, don’t be afraid, I’m not a bad person.”

Qin Yu put on what he thought was his most amiable smile, but unfortunately, the Snow Mastiff cub wasn’t buying it.

”Urgghh, urgghh!”

The growl that rumbled from the Snow Mastiff cub’s throat was like the roar of a lion, its neck fur bristling, ready to attack if Qin Yu dared to come any closer!

”I won’t come over, you eat slowly.” Qin Yu didn’t want to provoke the Snow Mastiff cub and cautiously took a small step back.

Sensing no malice from Qin Yu and seeing him take a step back, the Snow Mastiff cub lowered its head again and bit into a large chunk of meat.

Seeing the Snow Mastiff cub’s vigilance wane, Qin Yu grinned and took a big step forward.

”Urgghh!” The fur on the Snow Mastiff cub’s neck bristled once more!

”Don’t be nervous, I’ll back off.” Qin Yu took a tiny step back, and the hostility on the Snow Mastiff cub’s face eased slightly.

Mo Yuqi rolled her eyes. The boss was playing dirty, deceiving a little dog by taking big steps forward and tiny steps back.

After doing this a few times, Qin Yu had approached within a meter of the Snow Mastiff cub.

Seeing Qin’s approach, Little Song pursed his lips and said, ”Brother, there’s no need for all this trouble; I can help you tame the little fellow.”

”The Snow Mastiff King is a very proud animal. It only considers you a friend if it truly recognizes and approves of you. I can’t force it to do something it doesn’t want to.”

”Fine then.” Little Song shrugged and continued to huddle in Mo Yuqi’s arms, dozing off.

A meter away was the limit for the Snow Mastiff cub, which stopped eating altogether and stared unwaveringly at Qin Yu!

”Little guy, I’m a good friend of Danba, which makes me your friend too.”

”Urgghh...” The Snow Mastiff cub remained unimpressed.

Qin Yu once again took out the Companion Snow Lotus, stimulating the Sacred Factor within it. This time, the Snow Mastiff cub had a different reaction.

The ferocity in the Snow Mastiff cub’s eyes vanished, and it seemed intrigued by the scent of the Companion Snow Lotus.

However, having never been close to humans, and not recognizing Qin Yu, the Snow Mastiff cub was torn about whether to approach or not?

”Come on, have a piece! Eating this will help you grow quickly.” Qin Yu tore off a petal and tossed a piece of the Companion Snow Lotus forward, which the Snow Mastiff cub caught and stuffed into its mouth.
