Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Chapter 1423: Chapter 1423: Tech Otaku

President Qin? Where did he pop out from?

The crowd was momentarily stunned, looking at Qin Yu with suspicious eyes, but everyone respected Mo Yuqi enough not to raise any objections.

Soon, more and more faces appeared on the video conference call. Notable figures are generally punctual, and all the shareholders joined the conference at the scheduled time.

”Okay! Now that everyone is here, let’s cut to the chase. According to our intelligence, Four Seas Group’s bid is twenty percent higher than that of Emperor Group!

How should we respond?

President Qin, what’s your take?”

Qin Yu cracked a smile, ”What’s there to say? Dongxing Electronics Factory ranks in the top five among Huaxia’s electronics factories. If our Emperor Group wants to enter the electronics industry and compete with Four Seas Group for a piece of the pie, we must secure Dongxing Electronics Factory!

I propose that we raise our bid by thirty percent!”

Whoosh... The entire phone conference erupted into chaos!

There were those who supported Qin Yu and those who opposed him.

A shareholder spoke in a deep voice, ”President Qin, perhaps you are not fully aware of the situation at Emperor Group since you’ve only recently joined us. In just one month, our Emperor Group has made three major investments!

These three investments have cost us more than thirty billion!

Even though our Emperor Group has robust funds, we’re starting to feel a pinch!

If we make another big move, our cash flow could very well break!”

”Qin Yu, this is Yang Hong, the third-largest shareholder of the group. What Yang Hong says makes sense, what do you have to say?” Mo Yuqi introduced him to Qin Yu.

Qin Yu cracked a smile, ”Yang Hong, may I ask, how much is Emperor Group’s brand worth?”

”Conservatively, one hundred billion!”

”With that in mind, how could our Emperor Group possibly have a cash flow issue? Wouldn’t banks be falling over themselves to give us loans?” Qin Yu said calmly.

”That’s true... but we’re not familiar with the electronics sector. How can we be sure that getting into it will definitely be profitable?

Four Seas Group’s bid is already verging on uncompetitive practice. If we quote a higher price than theirs, wouldn’t we be the fools?”

”If playing the fool temporarily means we can snatch half of the feast from the mouth of Four Seas Group, why wouldn’t we do it?”

Qin Yu smiled once more.

Yang Hong, who had raised objections, was left speechless by Qin Yu’s words, and another shareholder spoke solemnly, ”President Qin, you must be aware that most of the key technicians from Dongxing Electronics Factory were poached by the ADA Company from M-country.

With the loss of these technicians, the value of Dongxing Electronics Factory has greatly diminished!

Do they still have the capability to help us snatch a chunk from Four Seas Group?”

Qin Yu looked at Mo Yuqi with an inquiring glance, to which Mo Yuqi introduced without emotion, ”This is Huang Dong, President Huang.”

”President Huang, I must ask you as well, how much is our big brand of Emperor Group worth?”

”Vice President Qin, let’s not change the subject,” frowned Huang Dong.

”President Huang, I am not changing the subject. How many tech geeks do you think will apply if our Emperor Group advertises for recruitment?” Qin Yu asked with equanimity.

”Tech geeks? What do you mean? Please clarify, Vice President Qin.”

”I believe everyone here has heard of the Hacker Alliance in Dragon Country, right? I am a member of that very alliance. With just a call from me, we could recruit at least a hundred mid to senior-level hackers!

With them on board, will our technology be any lesser than Four Seas Group?

Even ADA Company from M-country should think twice before looking down on us!”
