Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

895: Chapter 0895: I Understand Now 895: Chapter 0895: I Understand Now “Master Qin, seeing how good your speed and jumping were just now, you should go grab the rebounds under the basket!”

Zhao Gang, feeling like he was grasping at straws, ran toward his own half of the court.

Well, if all else fails, he could just use Master Qin as Sakuragi Hanamichi.

Qin Yu shrugged his shoulders and followed Zhao Gang to the business school’s half, positioning himself under the basket.

Qin Yu was very confident in his reaction ability and jumping skill.

He was sure and certain that he could knock the basketball away before it went into the hoop!

Under Zhao Gang’s leadership, the business school’s players put up a zone defense.

As they were ten points behind, the business school’s boys were very eager, very active in filling gaps and jockeying for position, which frustrated the sports academy’s players and left them without a way to attack for quite some time.

Just as Wang Honglei became anxious and prepared to force a shot, his eyes lit up when he saw Qin Yu under the basket, in the three-second area.

A player who didn’t even know the basics of walking surely wouldn’t know about the three-second violation, right?

Wang Honglei suppressed the urge to shoot and stepped back, watching Qin Yu under the basket with a smirk.

One second, two seconds, three seconds.

Bee-bee…

The sports teacher, acting as the referee, once again ran up to Qin Yu, blew the whistle, and gestured for a three-second violation.

Huh?

Qin Yu was stunned.

He hadn’t scored this time, so what was the referee whistling for?

Huh?

What’s up with the players from the business school?

Why did they look like eggplants hit by frost?

Why weren’t they defending?

Why did they clear the way?

“What’s wrong with you guys?

Why aren’t you defending?” Qin Yu looked puzzled as Wang Honglei walked up to the free throw line.

The entire basketball hall fell silent.

School uniform brother, are you this clueless?

Does your mom know?

Only Su Ziyan burst into a string of silvery laughter, “So Qin Yu is actually basketball-blind!

I thought you were invincible!

Turns out you don’t know everything after all?

Ha-ha-ha, this is killing me!”

“Master Qin, you violated the three-second rule; the other team gets to shoot a free throw.” “Three-second violation?” Qin Yu looked utterly bewildered, and Su Ziyan’s laughter made him feel utterly embarrassed.

“Yes, a three-second violation is like this…” Zhao Gang patiently explained to Qin Yu.

“Oh…

man, how can basketball have so many rules?

If this were soccer, the goalie could stand in front of the goal all game without breaking any rules,” Qin Yu shook his head somewhat vexed.

Plop…

The first free throw swished through the net.

“Zhao Gang, what other basketball rules are different from soccer?

You better tell me quickly.” Qin Yu looked at Zhao Gang earnestly; he didn’t want to be a drag on the business school team.

“There’s charging with the ball, blocking fouls, hitting fouls, and…” Zhao Gang hurriedly explained a few common violations.

“Okay, got it.” Qin Yu nodded.

His learning ability was quite strong; he firmly remembered the rules Zhao Gang had just mentioned.

Plop…

The second free throw also swished through the net.

The score was further narrowed to just a twelve-point gap.

The business school regained possession of the ball.

This time, Zhao Gang didn’t put his faith in Qin Yu but took charge and quickly crossed the half-court line with the ball himself.

Once they crossed, Wang Honglei stuck to Zhao Gang, and despite Zhao Gang’s best efforts, he couldn’t break through Wang Honglei’s defense.

Zhao Gang had no choice but to pass the ball, hoping to break through the sports academy’s defense with some quick passing.
