Chapter 1218: Chapter 25: The Blade That Breaks the Net! (2)

The red Spirit Cats weave through the overwhelming wave of firepower.

Their nimble bodies move like specters within the dense clusters of energy cannon lights. A barrage of energy cannon shots, like a sheet of pouring rain, has no effect on them, only aiding their slaughter.

The pride of lions running at high speed suddenly becomes targets for slaughter.

The leading few Fushan units are engulfed in the tide of energy cannons, their energy shields rapidly changing colors, finally turning into a few shattered fireballs. The mecha behind them fall into chaos, caught in the massacre of the three red Spirit Cats.

In mecha warfare, formation is crucial. In a head-on confrontation between mecha armies of equal numbers, the one maintaining a complete formation, capable of coordinating firepower and cross-covering, can absolutely triumph over opponents with scattered formations.

The forty-plus Jiepeng Mecha Warriors attempting to maneuver around have seen countless battles. They’ve fought tough positions, ambushes, and large-scale armored group operations on plains.

However, they’ve never been as chaotic as they are now. The three red mechas are like three huge iron hammers being swung into a room full of glass.

Long-range attacks, close combat, siege, sneak attacks... every possible tactic tried, yet the Jiepeng mechas charging forward only end up shattered before these three hammers!

Attempting to flank the rear, the pride of lions retreat. Leaving behind nearly thirty mecha remnants, the Jiepeng Mecha Warriors, terrified and demoralized, flee desperately, trying to regroup with the main force.

”Boom boom!” Two energy cannon shots pierce straight into the mud beside him, the violent explosions lifting two massive craters from the ground. Fatty controls the mecha, zigzagging two steps forward, narrowly avoiding the energy cannon. Just then, more violent explosions erupt behind.

Turning back, another group of Jiepeng mecha rushes toward the left wing at high speed. The second row’s firepower is on the verge of losing control. Several mecha units have already been destroyed under the offensive of the Jiepeng left-wing’s forming attack arrow, forcing the heavy mecha firepower behind to shift from the Central Group.

The pressure on Hagrove and others suddenly increases.

”First row, send a squad to reinforce the second row. Wagstaff, Baz, move up!” Fatty pushes the control lever, heading towards the Central Group while rapidly inputting deduction symbols on the mechanical computer.

To break through successfully and win, every bit of strength must be used to the max!

Markovich’s commanding of the first row swiftly turns the cannons. Supported by them, the Jiepeng mechas advancing on the left wing are enveloped in a deluge of energy cannon fire.

However, noticing that the infantry formations are the weak point of this unit, the Jiepeng Armored Battalion begins a new maneuver. The entire mecha cluster moves like bees in a hive, soon splitting into seven or eight squad mech attack arrows, piercing forward like an arrow shower from different directions on both wings.

”Damn motherfuckers!” Fatty’s forehead veins bulge, hands quickly deducing while his heart slowly sinks.

He isn’t afraid of these damn mechas; if he had enough time and didn’t need to protect those slow-moving prisoners, he could confidently lead this armored company to defeat an enemy ten times its size.

Knowing that after he taught Mecha Martial Arts, refined from various schools, not just someone like Hagrove, already a War God, even Baz could kill a War God like Nakagawa Daiki. Mecha Martial Arts are like rocket boosters for these Mech Knights who’ve studied close combat skills from a young age!

And after the Mars campaign, these civilian Mech Knights have already transformed, hardened by tough battles and bloodshed; they are more ruthless, cunning, and venomous than trained mecha warriors! Ordinary mecha warriors can hardly pose any threat to the bandit army’s War God-level Mech Knights.

To advance is to carry the momentum of thunder and wind, to retreat is like the free-spirited Heavenly Pegasus!

Ten War Gods in these vast mountains are almost invincible! When encountering squads, they all swarm; when meeting companies, they bite and run. Faced with large-scale encirclements and hunts, they hide or flee for thousands of miles. Theoretically, even if the enemy had an entire division, they could nibble it clean!

But the enemy is not so foolish, and he doesn’t have that much time to nibble.

And now, leading two thousand defenseless Chuckna prisoners to break through, he faces the harshest challenge of his life.

The enemy now splits and reorders, clearly ready to intercept the infantry. Once their mecha rush into the crowd behind, it’ll be a massacre. Then, his hands will be tied, and the situation will be irreparable! Furthermore, perhaps in the next second, the enemy’s diverted main force will appear behind him, making it impossible for not only the two thousand infantry but even Anthony and others, to leave alive.

What to do?!

The 415 position remains silent without a trace of movement. The soldiers behind are running with all their might, but they are still three kilometers away from the hill where the 415 position is!

How many will fall along the path? How much blood must be shed as a price?!

War, this damn war!
