Sacrificed To The Triplet Alpha Kings

His hand came down between them and found her clit again.... and he started robbing it in a rough desperate circles....while he pounded into her and Lilith felt everything building toward something enormous she could not stop.

”I’m going to....” she gasped. ”Lucian I’m going to come again....”

”Good,” he said roughly. ”Come again. Come on my cock as many times as I want you to.”

She came because she had no other choice, because she couldn’t hold it anymore

And this one was loud and long and she did not even try to muffle it. His name tearing out of her throat. Her pussy clenching down on him so hard she felt him groan....deep and rough and completely uncontrolled.

He followed her shortly after.

He buried himself as deep as he could go and came with his face pressed into her neck and her name in his mouth and his hands gripping her like she was the only solid thing in the world.

Lilith felt him fill her.

Hot and deep and pulsing.

Felt it leak out of her immediately around him. Running down onto the sheets beneath her.

Neither of them moved for a long moment.

The room was quiet except for the sound of both of them catching their breath.

Lucian was the first to move.

He rolled off her slowly. Sat at the edge of the bed for a moment with his elbows on his knees and his head dropped forward. Just breathing. His shoulders rising and falling. His golden eyes on the floor.

Lilith watched him.

At four thirty in the morning with the moonlight still coming through the curtains he looked different from how he looked during the day. The easy warmth he carried everywhere....that unique Lucian energy that filled whatever room he walked into....was still there but quieter. Underneath it something she had not seen clearly before.

He was tired.

Not tired the way people were tired after a long night.

Tired the way people were tired after carrying something heavy for so long they had forgotten what it felt like to be without it.

He stood up.

Moved to the small table by the window where she kept a glass of water. Picked it up. Drank half of it then dropped it back on the table.

He stood there for a while, looking out at the dark estate grounds below.

Lilith sat up in the bed and watched him.

His back to her. The moonlight on his shoulders.

”Lucian,” she said quietly.

”Yes.” Lucian replied without turning to look at her.

”You said the curse was unbearable tonight.”

He was quiet for a moment. ”Yes,” he said. Still looking out the window.

”Does it hurt?” she asked.

He turned.

Looked at her across the dark room.

Really looked at her.

”Every day,” he said. ”But some days more than others.” He came back to the bed. Sat on the edge of it. His golden eyes steady on her face. ”Last night was the worst it has been in weeks. Like something pressing from the inside. Zev pushing. The curse pulling. Both at the same time in opposite directions.”

She held his gaze.

”What does it feel like,” she said. ”When it is bad.”

He thought about it for a moment.

Like he was actually trying to find the right words instead of deflecting with humour the way he usually did.

”Like standing in a room that is getting smaller,” he said. ”Every day the walls come in a little more. And Zev is in there with me.....pushing against them....and I am trying to hold everything still and keep him from....” He stopped. Exhaled. ”From losing control completely.”

”For years?” she asked.

”For three years, it became worse three year ago” he said.

She looked at him.

At the exhaustion that lived underneath the warmth.

”When you are near me,” she said carefully. ”You said it goes quiet.”

”Yes,” he said.

”How quiet.”

He looked at the ceiling.

”Like someone turned the volume off,” he said. ”Everything that has been loud for years just.....” He stopped. ”Quiet.” A pause that felt like something being put down very carefully. ”You are the only thing that does that Lilith. The only thing in three years.”

She looked at him for a long moment.

Then she reached out and put her hand in his.

He looked at their joined hands, his fingers closed around hers slowly.

”I should go,” he said. ”Before the estate wakes up.”

Lilith almost said okay.

Almost let him stand up and button his shirt and walk back down that corridor to his own room where the walls would start closing in again.

”You could stay,” she said instead.

Lucian looked at her.

Something moved through his face that she did not try to read.

”Lilith....” He started saying, but she cut him off.

”Not like that,” she said. ”Just.....stay. Until it is actually morning.” She held his gaze. ”You said being near me quiets it. So stay until morning and let it be quiet for a while.”

Lucian looked at her for a long time, then he turned onto his side and pulled her back against his chest.

His arm went around her waist.

His face in her hair.

Outside the window the sky kept changing.

Dark to deep blue to the first ray of light of early morning.

And Zev....for the first time in weeks....went completely still.

Not pressing. Not pushing. Not counting down to something.

Just still, like he had been given an antidote.

Lucian pressed his lips to the back of Lilith’s head.

Neither of them said anything and Lilith pressed her face into the pillow and forced herself to catch up on the sleep she had lost.

They lay there together while the dark outside turned slowly toward morning and the estate slept around them and the curse....for a few quiet hours....left Lucian completely alone to breath for now.
