Rising from Small Cloud Rain Technique

The Sect Leader has often mentioned a so-called grand plan, but has never disclosed the details.

When it was mentioned again today, Yun Nianrong felt that with her cultivation improvement, she had gained the qualifications to know.

The gray-robed cultivator walked into the shadow by the cliff and said softly:

”Those ordinary cultivators always suppress us, what do you think is the fundamental reason?”

Yun Nianrong quickly glanced at the other’s expression, unable to discern anything.

She lowered her head and organized her words:

”Because we want to advance quickly, we must use the blood and flesh divine souls of cultivators as materials, which they cannot tolerate.”

She did not understand the underlying reason behind the Sect Leader’s question, as the answer seemed obvious in her view.

If someone else wanted to use her blood and flesh divine soul as cultivation resources, she would naturally want to kill the enemy.

The gray-robed cultivator let out a low laugh, with obvious sarcasm.

”Ultimately, it’s because we’re too weak! If the raw strength of Demon Cultivators was enough to rival those Daoist Cultivators, heh, it would be a mutually coexisting situation.

Cultivators call themselves Magic Cultivators, Body Cultivators, but do you know why Demon Cultivators are called Demon Cultivators?”

Yun Nianrong gently shook her head, as this designation had long existed, but she had never thought about its underlying meaning.

”Demon Cultivators are cultivators that use demon lords as resources. Demon lords truly exist, being birthed from demonic qi...”

After listening to this rather lengthy story, Yun Nianrong was full of astonishment, murmuring softly:

”So, the reason the Demonic Cultivation Technique emerged was to counter the True Demon Tribulation in the Cultivation Realm.

After the True Demon Tribulation ended, the birds were gone and the bow was put away, and the Demon Cultivators who had made contributions to the Cultivation Realm had all their credits erased, becoming targets for extermination.”

When she first became a Demon Cultivator, she couldn’t accept her hands being stained with blood, but later, as her cultivation rapidly advanced, that bit of conscience quickly disappeared.

Now, after hearing these words, the last bit of guilt in her heart dissipated significantly once more.

”Yes, if only they hadn’t sealed the Demon Cave but allowed Demon Cultivation, then the practice of using spirit soul and flesh for cultivation wouldn’t have happened.

If that were the case, the demon lords in the Demon Cave would have been constantly hunted, and a True Demon Tribulation wouldn’t have formed at all.

Those hypocritical immortal cultivators, willing to slaughter the deserving people of the past for greater gains.”

If the detriments of sealing the Demon Cave were ignored, the demonic qi would slowly erode the Earth Vein, forming patches of Demon Realm, which those immortal cultivators could not tolerate.

The gray-robed cultivator opened his arms and said in a steady voice:

”I want to establish a new order and rule the Cultivation Realm separately, but without power, those cultivators won’t agree at all.

Therefore, I founded the Profound Yin Holy Sect to quietly accumulate strength.

After years of investigation, I found that in the eyes of major powers in other continents, the Western Continent is a barren land, perfectly suitable for executing our grand plan.”

Yun Nianrong scratched her head lightly and said softly:

”Sect Leader, if we are exposed, the major forces from other continents won’t just sit idly by.”

Suppressing Demon Cultivators is a consensus among all forces. The Holy Sect inevitably risks exposure when it seeks rapid development.

The Sect Leader is now a late-stage Golden Core Demon Cultivator, and if he breaks through to the Nascent Soul Level, it might attract cross-region hunts by Nascent Soul Cultivators.

”So, we just need to ensure that we’re not exposed.

I’ve conducted a thorough investigation of the current situation in the Western Continent. If we have a trustworthy identity to cover us, we could remain undisclosed for centuries.

Moreover, with this cover, we can legitimately expand the Holy Sect.

If a force only has a few people, no matter how strong the individuals are, they will be overwhelmed by relentless attacks.

We need more followers to develop into a force capable of confronting the Cultivation Realm.

The Cultivation Realm has been peaceful for a long time, and there are disputes among those major powers. Unless their interests are infringed upon, they won’t pay extra attention to the Western Continent.”

Yun Nianrong slightly furrowed her brows, ”Sect Leader, what shall we use as our overt identity cover?”

The gray-robed cultivator showed a gentle smile:

”How about turning the entire Yuanhe Mountain into the new identity of the Holy Sect?”

The inheritance of Yuanhe Mountain has issues, and he can use a secret technique to accelerate Master Beichen’s life passing, causing him to die early.

Then he could transform Master Beichen into a demon puppet, thereby achieving the control of Yuanhe Mountain.

Using this identity as a cover, they can then control the northern region of the Western Continent and eventually control the entire cultivator forces of the Western Continent.

This is just the beginning as he will extend the tentacles into the Ten Thousand Mountains.

The reason for choosing Yuanhe Mountain as the target is because this major power is currently very weak, but most importantly, there is a small Demon Cave beneath Yuanhe Mountain, a secret passed down through their lineage orally.

Yun Nianrong licked her red lips with her tongue, ”It sounds exciting. We no longer are Demon Cultivators, but a force that exterminates Demon Cultivators.

If others learn the truth, it’s sure to be a massive irony.”

”Never let outsiders know the truth, as that means we’ve been exposed.”

”Understood! What should we do next?”

The gray-robed cultivator chuckled softly, ”Now, you are the Deputy Sect Leader of the Holy Sect. I will teach you the Demon Puppet Technique, which can nurture demon lords using cultivators’ blood and flesh. This is the true method of Demon Cultivation.”

Yun Nianrong’s eyes revealed joy, ”Thank you, Sect Leader, for your cultivation!”

She had seen him perform the Demon Puppet Technique and was quite impressed, but she hadn’t thought he would pass the secret technique on to her.

,

Half a month later, at dusk.

Wei Songnian arrived at Red Flame Peak on a Flying Ship, looking even more aged than before.

His temples were entirely white, his skin sagging, devoid of the former well-fed appearance, now resembling a frail old man approaching the end of life.
