Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1664: Yin Demon Race

After sending Long Wuzhao and Tianshi Bailong back to the Dragon-Soaring Divine Domain, Zhang Fei [5] asked Jiu Moze, Jiu Mozu, and Ku Yu to bring Ku Shenzu, Ku Biyun, and the five grand elders back to the palace.

Upon arrival, Zhang Fei [5] sat on the throne with Huo Ling perched on his shoulder. He gave Ku Shenzu, Ku Biyun, and the five grand elders some healing pills and restoration pills to restore their condition. Since they were demons, he couldn’t use his light element to heal them, but his pills were enough for that.

Ku Shenzu was furious in his heart because he was a demon god, but Zhang Fei [5] treated him like a slave, and he also sat on his throne as if it were his own.

Ku Biyun hugged her husband’s arm tightly, afraid that Zhang Fei [5] and the others would do something bad to her. She looked at Ye Mingran and Qi Qingxiu, who were standing beside him, wondering about how he convinced them to become his wives, especially with his low cultivation and low demon rank.

The five grand elders had also woken up, though they were still too weak due to the demon gods’ merciless beatings. Ku Yin and Ku Shan were completely shocked that Zhang Fei [5] had managed to defeat Ku Shenzu, but they had already realized that he was indeed extraordinary since they were still in the tower.

Zhang Fei [5] wasn’t concerned about their gazes, and he was more curious about the crystal that Wu Mian gave him earlier. He had already asked Ku Shenzu about it, but the demon god didn’t know the origin of the crystal, and he inherited it from the previous demon god.

”You don’t need to be confused about this crystal, husband.” Huo Ling took the crystal from Zhang Fei [5]’s hand. ”This is the Yin Demon Core, originating from the Yin Demon Race.”

”The Yin Demon Race?”

”As the name suggests, all members of the Yin Demon Race are women, but they do not exist in this Paradise Realm, and they only exist in the Ancient Realm.” Huo Ling created a qi screen, which displays the demon race. ”They are the Yin Demon Race.”

The Yin Demon Race’s presence was shrouded in a suffocating aura of cold yin energy. Their appearance was both terrifying and enchanting. Skin as pale as bleached jade stretched over perfect features, delicate yet devoid of warmth, like corpses preserved in ice. Their eyes were deep and unsettling—dark as a bottomless abyss. A single glance from them felt like falling into an endless night.

Their beauty was unearthly—perfect, yet hollow. Some possessed an almost seductive allure. Their expressions were distant, cold, and filled with a quiet cruelty. Their hair was silver like moonlight, swayed by the currents of yin energy that encircle their bodies.

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei [5] raised an eyebrow. ”Even though they look calm, I can feel horror just by looking at their form.”

Qi Qingxiu, Ye Mingran, Nalan Shizhe, and the other demons also felt the same way as Zhang Fei [5] when they looked at the Yin Demon Race.

”Hehe,” Huo Ling laughed softly. ”Since they are Yin Demons, their primary targets are men of all races, and they will absorb their Yang Qi as their source of strength. Although their primary targets are men, they will also attack any women who make them jealous. They will swarm to attack you if you enter their domain because your Yang Qi is far more powerful than any man’s.”

”Where do they live, Ling’er?”

”You can find them in all domains with high Yin concentrations, but they mostly reside in the Frozen Yin Domain.” Huo Ling changed the image on the qi screen. ”There! That is the Frozen Yin Domain, and the number of the Yin Demon Race there is really large. Apart from them, there are many other demon races living in that domain, and some of them are much stronger than these demon gods.”

Zhang Fei [5] narrowed his eyes, feeling interested in going to that domain. ”In your opinion, what will happen if I absorb the Yin Demons?”

”Are you really thinking about absorbing them, husband?” Hui Ling looked at him.

”Yes.” Zhang Fei [5] nodded. ”Since they are Yin Demons, their Yin Qi should be abundant, right? If I sacrifice them, I’m sure my cultivation will increase much faster, and I might be able to reach the Celestial Venerable Realm much earlier than I initially thought.”

”How strong are they compared to us, Senior Ling?”

Huo Ling looked at Qi Qingxiu. ”What, Senior? Call me Big Sister Ling! Although I don’t want to admit it, we’re both his wives.”

”Hehe,” Qi Qingxiu giggled. ”Alright, I’ll call you Big Sis Ling from now on.”

”So, how strong are the yin demons, Big Sis Ling?” Ye Mingran asked.

Zhang Fei [5] smiled when he saw Huo Ling’s smug smile. ”One Yin Demon has a hundred times more Yin Qi than the two of you.”

”Huh?” Ye Mingran, Qi Qingxiu, and Nalan Shizhe were shocked to hear that. ”The amount of their Yin Qi is really that much?”

Huo Ling nodded. ”No one can approach them because their abilities are too terrifying, and they can detect their enemies’ presence from miles away, especially men. However, it’s not a big deal for our husband because I can protect him from them, but he will probably need days or months to absorb one Yin Demon.”

”Days or months just to absorb one Yin Demon.” Ye Mingran, Qi Qingxiu, and Nalan Shizhe muttered in a daze because that meant the amount of Yin Qi in one Yin Demon was truly abundant.

Huo Ling returned the crystal to Zhang Fei [5]. ”Try absorbing the remaining Yin Qi inside this crystal core, husband.”

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei [5] jolted as the Yin Qi within the crystal entered his body. ”This! This Yin Qi is simply too abundant!”

”Hehe,” Huo Ling giggled. ”I don’t know how this idiot’s ancestors managed to obtain this crystal core, but the amount of Yin Qi inside it isn’t as great as it was originally because it’s been fading over time. If this crystal core were new, the amount would be much greater, and you would spend a lot of time absorbing it all.”

Zhang Fei [5] smiled mischievously and whispered into Huo Ling’s ear. ”Instead of me wasting time absorbing the Yin Qi inside this crystal core, I’d rather eat you, Ling’er.”

”Pervert!” Huo Ling hurriedly entered Zhang Fei [5]’s body in embarrassment. ’Since things here are settled, I’ll return to your real body’s side.’

Qi Qingxiu and Ye Mingran shook their heads. ”I still can’t believe you managed to subdue Big Sis Ling, Husband.”

”She is the Primordial Flame, so her yin qi should be the greatest among us, right?” Ye Mingran asked.

”Huo Ling’s yin qi is indeed the greatest among you all; even Feng Yao’s yin qi is not comparable to hers.” Zhang Fei [5] looked at Ku Shenzu. ”After you and your grand elders recover, I want all of you to constantly monitor this domain, and you must report to me if you encounter anything troublesome.”

”What do you mean by that?” Ku Shenzu frowned.

”This,” Zhang Fei [5] created a qi screen, showing those shadowy creatures.

”What kind of creatures are they?”

”We call them shadowy creatures, and they come from the core of this universe.” Ku Shenzu, Ku Biyun, and the five grand elders looked at Zhang Fei [5] seriously. ”I’ve fought them, so I can tell you all that they are truly powerful. You guys should not underestimate them because Empress Huo has a hard time defeating them with her current strength, let alone all of you.”

”What? Even Empress Huo had difficulty defeating them?”

”That’s right,” Zhang Fei [5] changed the image of himself and Feng Yao fighting those creatures in the Cangxuan Domain. ”See? We both attacked them with our full strength, but we could only kill a few of them. The main problem is the core creature, its strength simply beyond logic, and it destroyed the domain with just a small attack. If they successfully invade this Paradise Realm, no one can stop them. Therefore, I have decided to make a move against your demon race, and I want you to monitor this domain closely because they could appear anywhere without our knowledge. If they manage to invade this realm, we will face mass destruction. Anyway, you can forget about telling Sha Mo and Qian Yan about today’s incident because I will find out immediately, and I will torture you severely if you even think about doing so.”

Ku Shenzu trembled when he heard that. ”I won’t do that, and I will follow your orders to watch over this domain.”

’What a coward!’ Zhang Fei [5] opened a few gates. ”Let’s go back; I’ll go somewhere else after.”

Wu Mian, Jiu Mozu, Jiu Moze, Nalan Shizhe, and Ye Futian immediately entered the gates connecting their domains.

”Are you going to Sha Mo’s domain, Husband?”

”No.” Zhang Fei [5] descended from the throne. ”I’m going to meet Mo Zainan to check on the situation there. I don’t want Mo Shentian to realize that his domain is under my control; otherwise, he will kill his wife.”

”Oh! In that case, Mingran and I will return to our domains now.”

After they disappeared, Ku Biyun asked her husband, ”What will happen to us next, Husband? Will we forever be slaves to that lust demon?”

The five grand elders had grim expressions as they contemplated the situation.

Ku Shenzu sighed. ”I don’t know how that lust demon managed to do that, but we are definitely no match for him with the depth of his connections. At least, we’re still alive now, and he hasn’t asked us to do anything unreasonable, so I think everything will be fine.”
