Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 210: Capture Pang Hong

*Bam*

An old man standing by the side punched a large tree, causing it to explode, but his sole focus remained on Zhang Feiʼs figure as he continued to grumble in anger. ”That bastard!

I donʼt know how he managed to change his appearance, but Iʼm sure that guy is that little bastard who thwarted my plan to kidnap Liu Qingyu back then, and he was also the one who caused me to suffer severe injuries after he freed Liu Hua from my control. However, how could his cultivation progress that fast?

I remember for sure that his cultivation was still at 6-Star Elementary Realm back then, but his current cultivation had already reached 3-Star Core Realm, and he was able to achieve it in about a month. Heh! That day, he was able to thwart my plan because those damn beasts helped him, but there werenʼt any strong beasts in the city, so no one would be able to help him escape from me.

After I capture him, I will skin him alive, and I will give him to that freaking beast in our clan.”

The old man is none other than Pang Hong, who still harbors a grudge against Zhang Fei because of his actions in saving the Liu Sisters. Unfortunately, he was overconfident in his own abilities, and he still didnʼt know that his target had undergone various changes while he was recovering from his injury. His eyes suddenly fell on Ru Xue, and he licked his lips at the sight of her hot figure.

”Hey, that womanʼs cultivation is still in 1-Star Body Realm, but her face and body are much better than Liu Hua, so itʼs easy for me to capture her, and Iʼll make that little bastard suffer by enjoying her body in front of him. As for that little girl, I will kill her in front of the two of them, and her death will definitely destroy them.”

However, Pang Hong suddenly got a voice transmission, but his expression turned annoyed after he listened to the message, and he looked around the surrounding area before cursing angrily. ”Tch! Pang De is such a bastard! He doesnʼt trust me, and he even sent his familiar to monitor me.”

”Phew.” Pang Hong inhaled and exhaled several times to calm himself. ”Which clans can I use as our vassals? The Li and Mei Clans have already fallen to the Chu Clan, so I donʼt have many choices now, especially since this region is much weaker compared to other regions. Hmm? I think I should go to those two clans, especially since they are stronger than the remaining minor clans.

The Wu Clan is the in-laws of the Li Clan, and they will submit to me if I help them take revenge for the destruction of that clan. As for the Ba Clan, the strongest among them is Ba Jiawen, but heʼs in the demon cave now, so I can take advantage of his absence to take over his clan.”

After that, Pang Hong immediately disappeared from the place, and his first destination was the Wu Clan.

”What are you thinking about, Feiʼer? Why is your smile so strange?”

Zhang Fei directly told Ru Xue of Pang Hongʼs presence, which made her expression turn panicked, but he hugged her tighter and calmed her down. ”You donʼt need to worry like this, okay? The current me is indeed no match for that old bastard, but we have Boitata by our side, and she is much stronger than him, so capturing him is just a trivial matter for her.”

”Big brother is right, Mom. You panic too easily, and you often forget important things when you panic.” Xu Lingʼer, who was sitting on Zhang Feiʼs shoulders, spoke to her mother while shaking her head. ”Grandma Boitata is very strong, so no other cultivator can fight against her in this western region. Moreover, she is Big Brotherʼs beast contract, and she will protect us from that evil old man.”

Ru Xue smiled bitterly at her daughterʼs words, and she often felt that Xu Lingʼer was much more mature and calmer than her, even though she was still so small.

”Ha ha.” Zhang Fei laughed and looked up at the little girl. ”Hey, Lingʼer, Boitata is not just my contract beast, and she is my wife now. However, she would sulk if you addressed her as a grandma, so it would be better if you addressed her as an aunt instead.”

”No.” Xu Lingʼer immediately declined. ”Sheʼs over a thousand years old, so I will always address her as a grandma or maybe a great-grandmother, and youʼll protect me if she gets angry with me, right, big brother?”

”Haha! Thatʼs for sure! Even though Boitata is my wife, I will punish her if she dares to get angry with you.” Xu Lingʼer laughed happily when she heard that, and Zhang Fei immediately asked the dragon serpent. ʼHow is your condition? Have you recovered now?ʼ

[If you didnʼt have this beast space, I would still be exhausted and likely fall into a deep sleep due to you. Do you want me to capture the old man?]

ʼYeah.ʼ Zhang Fei replied with a slight nod. ʼI donʼt care about the people in this region, but our family lives here, and that old bastard seems to be planning something bad against them. Thatʼs why I want you to capture him, or he will continue to be a thorn in the flesh if he continues to roam free, and we can live more peacefully without his presence.

Anyway, you can beat him up to your heartʼs content, but donʼt kill him. I want to use him to destroy his clan from within.ʼ

[All right then, I will do it now.]

After she said that, Boitata immediately exited the beast space and rushed to Pang Hongʼs location. However, she refrained from taking immediate action against him, preferring to first learn about his plans, particularly the location of the blood demon tree, which his clan had hidden in the western region.

Then, Zhang Fei continued walking around the city with Ru Xue and Xu Lingʼer, and he also took them to check out his shop and restaurant, both of which were filled with buyers, especially his shop.

Meanwhile, Boitata was lying relaxed on the roof of the Wu Clanʼs main hall, eavesdropping on Pang Hongʼs conversations with people from that clan. To her surprise, Wu Ling, the clanʼs patriarch, refused to submit to the Pang Clan, and he also ordered his clanʼs people to surround him.

However, Pang Hongʼs cultivation was clearly superior to theirs, so Boitata was certain that they wouldnʼt be able to do anything to him, and they would die in his hands instead. ʼShould I save them? Nah! My husband doesnʼt care about these people, so I donʼt need to care about them either, especially since their lives are not our responsibility.ʼ

As expected, the people of the Wu Clan were powerless before Pang Hongʼs strength and abilities, and almost all of them died at his hands, including Wu Ling. He only left two of their main members, both of whom were women, and he then used the same technique he used on Liu Hua in the past to turn them into his puppets.

Boitata just shook her head after watching Pang Hong slaughter those people. ʼThis old man is truly evil, but unfortunately he is looking for trouble with the wrong person, especially since my husband is much more evil than him, and he will definitely suffer at his hands.ʼ

After he cleared everything up, Pang Hong left the Wu Clan and took his new puppets with him, and Boitata immediately followed him.

Sometime later, Pang Hong had arrived at the Ba Clan, which was located not far from the Heavenly Sword Sect. Despite being a minor clan, the Ba Clan held a high status in the western forest city, primarily due to Ba Jiawenʼs role as the sect master of the sect, which earned them respect from the community.

Pang Hong frowned after he discovered a formation that was strong enough to protect the Ba Clan, which was deliberately installed by Ba Jiawen with the help of the elders of the sect. He then tried to destroy it right away, but his action actually activated the formationʼs defense mechanism and attacked him.

However, it wasnʼt too difficult for him because the counterattacks were too weak for his level, and he broke them all at once.

”Hmm?” Pang Hong frowned even more as he felt several auras moving rapidly towards him, and he could see the people from the Ba Clan looking at him with condescending gazes from within their clan. ʼThese bastards! You guys can be happy now, but I will destroy this clan soon.ʼ

Since several elders from the sect headed towards him, Pang Hong immediately fled away from the Ba Clan while carrying his puppets, and Boitata once followed them.

People from the Ba Clan immediately spread the news about Pang Hongʼs presence in the western region to people from other clans, and many of them held grudges against him and his clan immediately hunted him down, putting him in a desperate situation, especially since he couldnʼt possibly face them all alone.

In the end, Pang Hong decided to take his puppets to the edge of the western region, and Boitata, who was following them from a distance, could see the same demon miasma she had seen before in the southern region. ʼOh? No wonder Liu Huaʼs people couldnʼt find it; it turns out they hid the tree in a place like this, and they definitely didnʼt expect it.ʼ

Since she couldnʼt handle the demon miasma, Boitata immediately contacted Zhang Fei and informed him of the location of the blood demon treeʼs hiding place. However, he already knew this, particularly because he had been closely monitoring her movements via the map. He asked her to leave the matter to him, as well as to focus on capturing Pang Hong.

As soon as Pang Hong and his puppets landed not far from the location of the blood demon tree, Boitata immediately blocked in front of them, making him freeze in place. ʼFuck! Who is this woman? Why did he follow me here? Damn it! I have to escape right now, especially since her cultivation is far above mine and her strength seems to be on par with that of our ancestors.ʼ

”Do you think I will let you go?” Pang Hong felt a cold sweat trickle down his forehead upon hearing Boitataʼs voice from behind him, particularly considering that she had just been in front of him a moment ago. However, before he could blink, she had already moved behind him, snatching his returning jade.

”Honestly, Iʼm too lazy to deal with you because youʼre just an ant in my eyes, but my husband asked me to capture you, especially since your presence threatens his other wives.”

”Who-Ugh!” Boitata immediately strangled Pang Hongʼs neck from behind as she enveloped her other hand in her flames before punching his back quite hard, causing his spine to crack, and he immediately spat out a mouthful of blood from his mouth. ”Gah!”

Pang Hong silently ordered his puppets to attack Boitata, but his action was obviously in vain, especially since their cultivation had not even broken through to the Earth Realm, so they were powerless under her restraint. ʼDamn it!ʼ

Boitata smirked slightly and spoke to Pang Hong again. ”Hey, you know what? My husband allowed me to beat you black and blue, so Iʼm going to beat you up now before taking you to see him.”

”No! Argh!”

*Bam... Bam...*

”Argh! Stop!”

Boitata didnʼt give Pang Hong a chance to beg, and she directly beat him without holding back, causing his agonized groans to be heard in the area for quite some time.

A while later, Pang Hong lay helplessly on the ground, his entire body encased in bruises; his face, beyond recognition, exuded an overwhelming sense of pain. Boitata proceeded to seal his cultivation before escorting him and his puppets out of the location. However, she cast her gaze towards the distance and unleashed her flames, causing a massive explosion to resound from that direction.
