Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 138: Vacation I

After they left the portable mansion, Zhang Yue immediately pulled her mother into her room, and she wanted to talk to her seriously.

”Why are you looking at me like that, Yuʼer?” Qing Yi asked as she looked at her eldest daughter.

Zhang Yue sighed softly. ”I didnʼt expect you to have an incestuous relationship with Fei, mom.”

”I-” Qing Yi didnʼt know how to respond to her daughter and embarrassedly lowered her face.

”Although your relationship with him was wrong, I am also relieved by your current situation, and I also did not expect that you would decide to divorce Zhang Hai after such a long time.” Zhang Yue stopped for a moment before continuing. ”Perhaps, you thought that you hid it well, mom.

But I have seen you beaten by him several times in the past, so Iʼm not surprised you supported his decision to abandon and disown Fei because youʼre too scared of him.”

”Eh?” Qing Yi was shocked by her eldest daughterʼs words; she felt that she had hidden everything neatly all this time.

Zhang Yue sighed softly. ”Unfortunately, at that time, I was still too young, so I couldnʼt do anything to help you. But that also motivated me to be successful, and I wanted to take you out of that house one day. But unexpectedly, Fei had to go through all that, and here we are now.”

”You are right, Yueʼer. I am too afraid of your father, and I am too cowardly to oppose him.” Qing Yi sadly said as she started to sob. ”If only I had the courage to go against your father, then Feiʼer wouldnʼt have to suffer these two years.”

”Everything has happened, and you donʼt have to regret it anymore, mom.” Zhang Yue then embraced her mother. ”Although I regret what happened to Fei in the past, I also feel grateful for it. If he had not gone through all that, our lives would not have changed. Moreover, we can now live together for a very long time, and Iʼm sure our lives will improve in the future.”

Qing Yi was pensive after hearing her eldest daughterʼs words. Even though she had also dual cultivated with Zhang Fei several times, her son still doesnʼt know everything, and he hasnʼt forgiven herself either.

Zhang Yue sighed and said again. ”I think it would be better if we explained everything to Fei; Iʼm sure he will forgive you.”

”Sigh, leave things as they are, for now, Yuʼer.”

”Why? Do you want Fei to continue hating you?”

”Itʼs okay, everything is my fault, so itʼs only natural that he hates me.”

*Crack.*

Zhang Fei walked in as he asked. ”Do you want to go on vacation with us, Big Sis? Yingʼer, Qingʼer, and Lianʼer havenʼt seen anything else here, so I thought it would be great to go on vacation together.”

”I agree, Big Brother!” Zhang Lin said as he entered the room. ”We can go to the amusement park in the next town!”

”All right, I will come with you guys.” Zhang Yue nodded in agreement. ”For the past two years, Iʼve been too focused on work, and Iʼve never gone on vacation, so we can go on vacation now.”

However, not all of them can go on vacation. Ru Xue and Zhong Yan had to go to work. As for Qing Yi, she stayed home to accompany Zhang Chen.

Before long, they had arrived at the amusement park. As they walked, the women looked at Zhang Fei in admiration, but they also felt jealous of the six women.

While the men are the same, they stare at the six women; some even look at them with lustful eyes. They also felt jealous of Zhang Fei because he was surrounded by six beautiful women, and several men tried to greet the six women, but they ignored them.

Unlike the Zhang Siblings and Janette, the three women from the Sky Jade Realm looked confused and surprised at the many attractions because there were no amusement parks in their place, let alone all those attractions.

”This place is peculiar, Fei.” Chu Qing said as she looked around the area. ”How can those things move on their own without qi?”

Zhang Fei laughed softly. ”En, if artifacts are moved by qi or Jewels, then all these attractions are driven by electricity.”

”Electricity?” Chu Qing, Chu Ying, and Ye Lian looked at Zhang Fei in confusion, as they had never heard of it before.

”Hehe, you three donʼt need to think about that.” Zhang Lin said with a chuckle; she was also at a loss to explain to them about electricity, then she pulled Chu Qing to come with her. ”Letʼs go try all the attractions available here.”

”You two can come with Lin.” Zhang Fei said to Chu Ying and Ye Lian.

Chu Ying and Ye Lian nodded, then followed Zhang Lin and Chu Qing. They were also curious about all the attractions.

After they left, Zhang Yue then hugged Zhang Feiʼs arm. ”Doesnʼt their place have an amusement park, Fei?”

”Their place is like the earth in the past, Big Sis.” Zhang Fei replied with a shake of his head. ”Anyway, you can see for yourself when we go there tonight.”

”Can I come with you guys?” Janette asked, as she was also curious to see another realm.

Zhang Yue frowned, she really didnʼt like it when she got close to her little brother, but before she could say anything, Zhang Fei had already answered. ”You canʼt come with us, Janette. Since that place is complicated, they will react the same way Ye Lian and the others did to you.”

Janette nodded in understanding; she could also feel that the three women of the Sky Jade Realm hated her very much, and they remained silent only because of Zhang Fei.

”What are you guys talking about?” Zhang Yue asked in confusion, as she still didnʼt know that Janette was a Dryad.

Zhang Fei purposely didnʼt tell her, as he was afraid that Zhang Yue would hate her best friend for never telling her that she was a Dryad. But suddenly, Janette said to her. ”Iʼll tell you a secret when we get home, Yue. Because I canʼt talk about it in public.”

”Hmm? Why canʼt you tell me now?” Zhang Yu asked with a frown; she didnʼt like it when someone close to her kept a secret from her.

Zhang Fei himself was surprised by Janetteʼs decision. ”You donʼt have to force her, and you two can talk later when we get home.”

”Fine!” Zhang Yue said with a pout, then she pulled Zhang Feiʼs hand. ”Letʼs ride that Ferris wheel.”

Zhang Fei helplessly allowed himself to be pulled by Zhang Yue, actually, he didnʼt like going to amusement parks, but he had no other choice because the beaches and other places werenʼt much different from the Sky Jade Realm.

Janette couldnʼt help but shake her head, followed them to the Ferris wheel, and rode with them.
