Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 7: Telling Zhang Chen

Arriving at his room, Zhang Fei immediately sat cross-legged on his bed, then he closed his eyes to start studying his cultivation techniques, and he started with Divine Senses first. Zhang Fei had mastered it in just fifteen minutes thanks to Meiʼs detailed guidance and his high understanding.

He then opened his eyes, and he smiled as his vision became sharper and he could also see into the great distance. In addition, his hearing is getting clearer; he can even hear his neighborʼs chatter clearly. His sense of smell has also become very keen, as he can smell scents coming from very far away from his location.

Zhang Fei then said with a chuckle. ”Itʼs awesome! My five senses have become very sharp, Mei.”

Mei then said to him. [The five basic senses are very important to a cultivator, Master. That way, you can easily tell if someone has bad intentions for you. As for your sense of smell, then you can tell if someone is trying to poison you later, and it is also very useful if you want to become an alchemist in the future.]

”I understand that, Mei.” Zhang Fei replied with a nod; he had often read many novels about cultivators, so he also understood them to a certain extent.

Zhang Fei then started to learn Heavenly Body Tempering, and the body technique has five stages. The names of the five stages are Bronze Body, Silver Body, Golden Body, Diamond Body, and finally Heavenly Body. Each level will increase body strength by 15% and physical attack power by 10%.

Like before, Mei had also guided him to master Heavenly Body Tempering, and in just one hour, he had already made it to the Bronze Body Stage.

As it was already night and he couldnʼt practice his movement techniques indoors, Zhang Fei decided to learn the Flawless Yin-Yang Arts first. After ten minutes, he felt something rise in his consciousness. Mei then taught him how to enter his consciousness, and he followed her words. Before long, he managed to enter his own consciousness.

”Hmm? So thatʼs the effect of the Flawless Yin-Yang Arts, huh?” Zhang Fei muttered to himself. His eyes fell on the two lotus buds, one black and one white, and below them was a faint Yin-Yang symbol.

Soon, he came out of his consciousness, and he asked. ”How can I absorb qi, Mei?”

[You cannot absorb qi in this world, because there is no qi in this world, Master.] Zhang Fei was stunned to hear that. [If you want to start cultivating, then you have to go to the Sky Jade Realm first. As for the Netherworld Realm and the Heavenly Moon Realm, I donʼt recommend going to those two realms for the time being.

The situation in the Netherworld Realm is too harsh for you right now, and you will also have a hard time adapting to the gravity of the Heavenly Moon Realm.]

”Sky Jade Realm, huh?” Zhang Fei muttered, and as he thought in his mind, he immediately sighed. ”Sigh, then I will go to the Sky Jade Realm tomorrow.”

*Crack*

”How was your talk with Ru Xue, Feiʼer?” Zhang Chen asked as she walked into her second grandsonʼs room and sat down on his bed.

Zhang Fei then laid down on the bed with his head on his grandmotherʼs lap. He looked at her in confusion. He was afraid that his grandmother would be angry if she found out about his relationship with Ru Xue.

However, Zhang Chen suddenly said something that sent him into shock. ”To be honest, Iʼm still in shock after hearing Ru Xueʼs moaning sound from your room earlier, Feiʼer.”

”Eh?” Zhang Fei was stunned to hear that.

Zhang Chen sighed softly and caressed his head. ”At first, I was about to go to the bathroom, and I overheard Ru Xue continuously moaning while calling your name. Even though I didnʼt see it in person, I could tell that you two were having sex.”

”Are you angry with me, Grandma?” Zhang Fei asked with a bitter smile.

”Sigh, I donʼt know what exactly happened between you two, but I know that you and Ru Xue are not that kinds of people.” Zhang Chen said with a low sigh as he continued to caress his head.

”I know that her relationship with her husband is very bad, but I already know her since she was little, so I know that she is a loyal woman, and I also know that you guys have never had such a relationship before. So can you tell me why you guys are doing it all of a sudden?”

Zhang Fei fell silent at his grandmotherʼs question, and he thought deeply about whether he should tell her the truth or not. A few moments later, he got up from his bed and stood in front of his grandmother, looking at her seriously. ”To be honest, something happened to me this morning, Grandma.

But before I tell you the truth, I need you to prepare yourself mentally first, I donʼt want anything bad to happen to you.”

”Even though Iʼm very old, I still feel like a young woman, so you can tell me the truth.” With a soft laugh, Zhang Chen stated.

Zhang Fei laughed and nodded at her words before telling her the entire story. However, he didnʼt tell her about Mei and the system, and he thought it would be better if only he knew about them.

After Zhang Fei finished telling her, Zhang Chenʼs body trembled violently, and tears dripped from her eyes. She was terrified at the thought of her beloved grandson dying. Especially when her grandson told her that he was turned into an incubus by his savior, it made her heart ache a lot. ”Is that true, Feiʼer? You almost died this morning? And youʼre now an Incubus?”

”That is indeed true, Grandma.” Zhang Fei then took his grandmotherʼs hand and rubbed it. ”But you donʼt need to be sad, am I still alive now? Moreover, even though I almost died, the accident this morning was a blessing in disguise for me.”

Zhang Chen nodded at him and asked again. ”Can you show me your Incubus form?”

”Alright.” Zhang Fei then stepped back and transformed himself into an Incubus. ”This is my Incubus form, Grandma.”

At first, Zhang Chen was frightened when she saw his incubus form, but she quickly calmed herself down, knowing that her grandson would not harm her. She immediately stood up and approached him, and she then grabbed his horns and rubbed them. ”Iʼve only heard of demons from books and folklore, but now my grandson is an Incubus.”

Zhang Fei took her hand and pressed it against her cheek. ”Are you really not afraid of me, Grandma?”

”You are my dear grandson, and although I regret that you became an Incubus, but I am not afraid of you.” Zhang Chen replied with a shake of her head, as she touched his wings and tail. ”So because of this, you had sex with Ru Xue earlier?”

”Frankly speaking, I was still unconscious when I had sex with Xueʼer, and it happened during my awakening as an incubus, so I was shocked after knowing about it.” Zhang Fei answered truthfully, then he told her about the matters between them, especially about his demon partner Mark.

”I didnʼt want Xu Xuan to die because of us, so I asked Xueʼer to divorce him, and I will be responsible for her and Lingʼer in the future.”

Zhang Chen sighed heavily at that, and she nodded in agreement. ”Since things have turned out like that, I think itʼs the best way for Ru Xue to divorce her husband, especially since her relationship with her husband is so bad. But you must remember, your responsibility to them is very big, so you must prepare yourself well.”

Zhang Fei then returned to his human form and hugged his grandmother. ”I know, Grandma.”
