The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady

Before leaving, Shen Yanxiao as usual went to Ye Qing, Yun Qi, and Xie Yun to request a leave.

Ye Qing’s and Yun Qi’s response were still very calm, but when Xie Yun learned that Shen Yanxiao who just came back was about to take a leave again, he immediately went out of control.

And Shen Yanxiao took the chance to slip away when Xie Yun was still madly exploding.

She immediately hired a carriage and a coachman and embarked on a journey to the Sun Graveyard.

The path became more tranquil as they gradually went away from the Black City, people walking on the road became more scarce.

The coachman that Shen Yanxiao had employed was an old man over fifty years old.

Shen Yanxiao was actually looking for a young, strong and healthy coachman, after all, this journey wasn’t a short one.

But as soon as she uttered the four words, ‘to the Sun Graveyard’, the coachmen who were outdoing one another to compete for the business immediately run away with their tails between their legs, only leaving this old man.

Many people in the Radiance Continent didn’t want to set foot in the once ancient battlefield and now forbidden areas. Especially after the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps had failed their journey to the Sun Graveyard. For this period of time, in the entire Black City, Sun Graveyard became the place people were most afraid to go to. No one would go no matter how much money you were willing to offer.

”Little brother, what are you going to do in the Sun Graveyard?” The coachman was called Old Que. He used to be a mercenary when he was a young man, but his legs were injured in a mission so he could no longer continue his mercenary career, thus he became a driver.

While all his peers were terrified by the Sun Graveyard, he remained quietly standing in his place and took Shen Yanxiao’s task.

”Don’t worry, you don’t need to send me to the Sun Graveyard, as we’ve talked before, just find a place nearby and wait for me to come back. If I don’t come back after ten days, then you can go back by yourself.” Shen Yanxiao who was sitting in the carriage said. Perhaps because she was in a hurry for this journey, she was willing to say a few words to Old Que.

”Ai, I’m not at all worried about this. I just think that you’re too young to actually go to such a dangerous place. And with another child around, I don’t think it would be safe. Although I did took this task, but there’s more to life than this. This old fellow wanted to say that, if you don’t have to go then don’t go.” Old Que laughed as he tried to persuade her while driving.

Shen Yanxiao laughed loudly.

”Old Que, you are very funny. Aren’t you afraid that if we go back, I will not pay you?”

Old Que replied, ”This money is naturally a good thing, but I can’t ignore my conscience; you two fellow are still too young, at least cherish your life, ah.”

Shen Yanxiao only answered with a few words that they must really go to the Sun Graveyard.

Old Que didn’t press the matter any longer, but his next words surprised Shen Yanxiao.

“Ah, nevermind. I presume it’s really important for you to go there, right? Just, this old man never imagined that I will unexpectedly return there one day.”

Shen Yanxiao was surprised for a moment and quickly asked.

”Old Que, what do you mean?”

Old Que was quiet for a moment. He seemed to realize that he just had a slip of tongue and leaked something he shouldn’t have. A moment later he slowly said, ”That is where this old man’s legs were injured.”

Old Que had been to the Sun Graveyard?

This information made Shen Yanxiao very surprised.

Having already admitted that he had been to the Sun Graveyard before, Old Que no longer hide anything. Perhaps as early as he heard Shen Yanxiao saying the name of the place, it had brought back memories from a long time ago.
