The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady

Chapter 448 - The Evils we Bring on Ourselves are the Hardest to Bear (2)

”Master Pu Lisi, what the hell is going on? Tell us ah!” Fang Qiu was burning with anxiousness . Luo Fan was the best Pharmacist at Yeats Academy . If there was an accident this time, he was afraid that he would not be able to stay in the academy anymore .

What was more, people from Luo Family would also not let him off!

Luo Fan was now the greatest hope of Luo Family . Almost the entire family had put the best on him, expecting him to become a Master Pharmacist one day . If something happened to Luo Fan right now, only God knows how would the Luo Family deal with this matter .

Pu Lisi exposed a rare nervous expression on his face . His brain had been buzzing at the scene of two teenagers who were originally perfectly all right but suddenly collapsed .

”Impossible . There is no problem with the antidote I had concocted . Why are they vomiting blood?” Pu Lisi panicked . Shangguan Xiao was his only disciple for many years, and although his talent was less than Shen Jue’s, he was also a rare potion genius . Pu Lisi was willing to let him inherit his own skills . Yet, right now, his disciple had suddenly been vomiting blood . This situation was seriously unbearable for the respected Master Pharmacist .

The sudden changes in Shangguan Xiao and Luo Fan made the whole room chaotic . Amidst Pu Lisi’s shock, he quickly instructed someone to go to the Priest Branch to ask for help . The present situation was no longer for Pharmacists to solve .

The Head of the Priest Branch came in person and gave powerful blessings to Shangguan Xiao and Luo Fan . The situation of the two men improved slightly, but both of them had already fallen into a coma, and their pale faces did not improve at all .

”Master Pu Lisi, the heart veins of these two students are damaged . I’m afraid they need to recuperate well in this period of time,” the Head of the Priest Branch frowned . He had obviously found that the situations of the two were not optimistic .

”Their heart veins are damaged? What do you mean?” Pu Lisi was surprised for a moment . He couldn’t think at all how could the two people, who had been well just a moment ago, incur damaged heart veins so suddenly .

The Head of the Priest Branch said, ”Although I do not know Pharmaceutics, it is clear that these two students have taken some potions that suppressed their tendons . After that, it was hit by a potion which had a strong impact, making the originally suppressed forces in the meridians completely out of control and charge around violently in the eight extraordinary meridians . The damage dealt is great . ”

”Potion that suppresses tendons . . . ” Pu Lisi’s face turned pale in a flash .

The effects of Slow-acting Potions were directly in the brain rather than in the tendons, but the Head of the Priest Branch couldn’t speak irresponsibly .

In other words, Shen Jue’s negative potion from the very beginning was not a Slow-acting Potion, but another kind of mysterious potion which Pu Lisi didn’t know, and the effect of this potion was very similar to that of Slow-acting Potion . It was not very damaging, but the terrible thing was, Shangguan Xiao and Luo Fan drank the antidotes to Slow-acting Potions . To remove the effects of Slow-acting Potions, the antidote must break all the effects of the nerve paralysis . After being dispersed, not only would it not disappear, but it would remain in the eight extraordinary meridians of the two people, crazily destroying the tendons of the two people .

For a second, Pu Lisi’s legs turned soft and fell down onto a chair . His usual arrogant face no longer existed . His face was blank, and it was as if he had aged ten years in the blink of an eye .

Destroyed tendons meant that the thing that Shangguan Xiao and Luo Fan relied on in Pharmaceutics was already crushed . With the loss of the tendons, the five senses would be greatly hurt, and at the same time, it would also make their strength all over their body to dissipate .
