The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady

Chapter 235 – The Warlock’s Glory (3)

Although the Vermillion Bird Clan’s influence was high, no one could hide if the Emperor ordered to investigate a person.

Yun Qi was very worried about Ouyang Huanyu’s request. If he let Shen Yanxiao participate in the competition her identity would be exposed, but if he didn’t let her participate, then there might not come another time when a Warlock will have a chance to rise again.

But since Shen Yanxiao was already determined to participate in the competition under the prompting of Xiu, Yun Qi’s worries were all unnecessary.

And it wasn’t for anything else but just so she can unlock the third layer of the seal earlier that she’s also willing to bite the bullet.

“There’s no need to worry, if I can get to the final game I will definitely appear in my true colors.” Compared to Yun Qi, Shen Yanxiao had an opposite reaction and didn’t care about this at all.

“But if your grandfather learned about this, wouldn’t they kick you out from the Vermilion Bird Clan?” Yun Qi embarrassingly said. Although he wanted to let the Warlock Branch come back to light, but for him to take progress in his goal while the other side was suffering wasn’t something he wanted. Shen Yanxiao must have a firm foothold in the barren land, and that would take a very long time, once the Vermilion Bird Clan found out her Warlock identity, then there would be a chance that she’ll be droved out.

“Grandpa wouldn’t kick me out of the Vermilion Bird Clan.” Shen Yanxiao said with a smile.

Kick her out of the Vermilion Bird Clan? Even if they’ll exclude how much Shen Feng cared a lot for her, just the fact that within her body was the legendary Vermilion Bird, the Vermilion Bird Clan from top to bottom would not dare to make a move against her.

Only if the Vermilion Bird Clan’s people were crazy would they dare to drive away the one who holds the clan’s mythological beast out of the clan. If not, it could be said that even if Shen Yanxiao planned to rebel, then they could only support her revolt.

Besides, Shen Feng had already long given a hint to all of the members from top to bottom that she would be the heir to the clan’s headmaster.

Who would dare to kick her out?

Would it be her who would kick herself out?

Shen Yanxiao did not explain too much to Yun Qi, although she confessed a bit of her real identity, but that didn’t mean that she could tell him about the deep affairs in their family, after all, the Vermilion Bird Clan was still an aristocratic family, and for an aristocratic to continue to rise, it was important that all private matters should be keep within and not spread around. Even if Yun Qi wasn’t against her, it’s still not proper to tell him a lot.

“Are you sure? Although I want you to participate but you don’t need to force yourself.”

For everyone, regardless if their nature was good or bad, Warlocks were still a dangerous existence.

“Master, rest assured that I know what I’m doing.”

When he heard Shen Yanxiao calling him master, Yun Qi felt comfortable. The status of a school mentor compared to a master was different: for the school mentor was merely teaching students for a limited time but a master teach their students until the end of their life.

“You said before that you already know the Collapse technique; it’s best to let me see it so I can check if there is any mistakes.” Yun Qi was afraid that Shen Yanxiao would have troubles with her curse technique that he was determined to give Shen Yanxiao attention and nurture her inner talent.

He was curious as to how far did her curse technique that she only learned for a mere one and a half month had reached.

If Yun Qi knew that Shen Yanxiao didn’t studied it for one and a half month but rather just a half month, who knew what he’ll be thinking of instead.

Shen Yanxiao was somewhat hesitating, she had used the collapse technique to a student once and the effect was too great that the damage was too big. Yun Qi wasn’t someone small like that student, if something bad were to happen to him, she couldn’t afford the consequences.

Yun Qi could guess Shen Yanxiao’s thoughts. It made him felt a trace of gratitude deep inside knowing that she cares for him. He smiled and said: “You don’t need to worry about your master. I am not that old and my body is still tough. You’ve just learned the technique not too long ago, so your curse technique is still not that powerful to hurt me.”

[TL Sky: Oh please, if I know, Shen Yanxiao is just worried that she may need to pay something or cause more trouble XD]
