Mr. Law's Official Announcement: He is a Wife-Doting Fanatic!

Returning to campus to study?

Cecilia Vaughn was taken aback. She had gone to prison right after graduating from high school and didn’t know how Stellerton University had handled her records.

Adrian Law quickly noticed her concern.

”Cecilia, don’t worry. At the time, the Vaughn Family and Law Family used the excuse of a serious illness leave to cover it up.”

As he spoke, the man’s phoenix eyes locked onto the girl, his voice solemn and undeniable.

”Actually, yesterday... I already contacted the administration at Stellerton University. If you’re willing, you can re-enroll anytime.”

At such a youthful age, his Cecilia was facing so many hardships in prison...

She clearly deserved the best things in the world.

Adrian Law understood that not attending university was always a concern for the girl, and he was willing to open her heart, bit by bit, in his own way.

...

Being able to continue her studies was certainly something Cecilia Vaughn desired.

She just didn’t expect Adrian Law to solve the issue so quickly. It was impossible to say she wasn’t moved.

The man watched Cecilia Vaughn’s eyes filled with emotion. Suddenly, he raised his eyebrows mischievously.

”Don’t even mention thank you. If you really want to thank me, why not offer yourself in return?”

”Alright, just kidding. How about treating me to a meal?”

Cecilia Vaughn turned bright red; he was teasing her again!

”Can’t you just get to the point for once? Treating you to a meal is no problem at all.”

...

At night, Cecilia Vaughn and Adrian Law slept in separate rooms on the second floor, one in the master bedroom, one in the guest bedroom.

Adrian Law knew some things couldn’t be rushed. He had enough patience to let nature take its course.

But given his inherently sneaky nature, he still made a request.

”Cecilia, even though we’re a couple by agreement, if someone visits suddenly, you still have to stay in the same room with me.”

Cecilia Vaughn was astonished.

”Who would come?”

Adrian Law smiled helplessly. ”No way to tell.”

”...”

Cecilia Vaughn weighed her options and finally nodded. The rumor outside was that Young Master Law was indifferent, which must have some truth.

Moreover, she also felt Adrian Law was upright and definitely not a lustful wolf.

Little did she know, she would regret this decision immensely in the future.

What kind of gentleman? What cool and jade-like demeanor? It’s all fake, totally fake!

...

Soon it was the opening day of Stellerton University, and according to tradition, first-year students could report to the campus two days in advance to settle their luggage and other things.

Cecilia Vaughn never thought that she would step into the campus again after three years, and as a freshman.

But, she had changed her major...

Looking at the towering entrance of Stellerton University, her heart was filled with emotion.

”Have you really decided to switch from the Finance Department to the Art Department?”

Adrian Law looked at the elegant girl beside him with some confusion.

Cecilia Vaughn gave a faint smile, but her beautiful eyes showed a hint of melancholy.

”I originally chose Finance to be in the same major as Tyson Law, actually, I’ve always preferred painting...”

For another guy...

Adrian Law was silent for a half-second, feeling an inexplicable discomfort like a cat scratching his heart.

So, this is what jealousy feels like...

Seeing his troubled expression, Cecilia Vaughn quickly added, ”That’s all in the past; otherwise, I wouldn’t have chosen the Art Department.”

”Alright, I’ll accompany you to report.”

The man tightened his grip on Cecilia Vaughn’s hand. Her face flushed, wanting to break free, but he confidently spoke a white lie.

”There are so many new students reporting today, let’s hold hands, I don’t want to lose you.”

”...”

Yes, the past is past. He would have her present and future, and that was what mattered most.

...

Art Department Admission Office.

Cecilia Vaughn and Adrian Law’s special identities quickly attracted a pre-arranged mentor to welcome them.

A male teacher with a small ponytail and a distinctly artistic vibe nodded at the two of them.

”Hello Young Master Law, and this must be Classmate Vaughn, I suppose?”

”We’ve already looked into it. Classmate Vaughn was the top student in the city when she got into Stellerton University, and her academic performance was excellent. Naturally, she passed the cultural subjects, but since we are the Art Department, we’d like you to showcase your artistic skills on the spot, is that okay?”

As if worried Cecilia Vaughn might misunderstand his intentions, the teacher quickly added.

”After all, changing majors is serious. If you can’t pass the professional courses, you’d have to pursue the Finance Department to avoid wasting time.”

Cecilia Vaughn was taken aback, but she quickly understood the teacher’s intention.

”Then, how about a sketch?”

”Of course, a sketch is fundamental but also demonstrates skill.”

Seeing the teacher’s approval, Cecilia Vaughn grinned and playfully poked Adrian Law’s sleeve.

”Adrian, I wonder if I have the honor to request you as my model?”

”I’d be delighted.”

The man nodded slightly and then gracefully sat down by a window seat.

Cecilia Vaughn was in high spirits, seeing him so cooperative. She skillfully set up the easel and began sizing up her model.

”Okay, turn your head slightly, as if you’re casually gazing out the window.”

Adrian keenly caught her meaning, resting his chin on one hand, exuding a lazy demeanor like a leopard.

Though the Admission Office was furnished simply, the man seemed like he was seated on a throne, exuding a regal aura.

It’s undeniable that a good model greatly inspires the artist.

Cecilia Vaughn soon found the motivation to start her sketch.

In just over an hour, a vivid depiction had already emerged on the canvas.

In the painting, the man sat sideways against the window, with fragmented light filtering through the branches onto his face, half-bright half-dim, coating him with a dreamy beauty.

Though the drawing time was short, Cecilia Vaughn’s strokes were delicate and captivating, particularly in capturing the man’s expression and the light shadows of the weather.

”Teacher, I finished the drawing.”

Upon hearing this, Adrian Law stood up. Before he could catch a glimpse of how the girl portrayed him, the painting was taken by the Art Department mentor.

”Incredible! I can’t believe Classmate Vaughn, you were a liberal arts student before, not an art student!”

The admissions teacher marveled in awe at the painting, reluctant to part with it, before finally opening his mouth.

”Classmate Vaughn, this painting is genuinely impressive. Could we display it in our Art Department’s exhibition area?”

Cecilia Vaughn was stunned and hadn’t spoken when a cool male voice already refused on her behalf.

”Sorry, I’d like to keep it for framing and collection.”

...

As they left the office, the man smiled gently.

”Cecilia, I didn’t know you were once the top student in Stellerton City. Can I call you a genius girl?”

Cecilia Vaughn blushed, fully aware of herself, she dared not boast before Adrian Law.

She was about to speak when a group of gossiping girls walked by from not far away.

”Hurry up, if you don’t speed up, we’ll be late!”

”Did you hear? Today, Fiona Vaughn is back at school! She’s giving a speech at the freshman orientation!”

”Wow, Goddess Fiona! I have to squeeze into the lecture hall no matter what!”
