Rebuilding the Immortal Cultivator Clan

Chapter 1704: Chapter 1321: Changes

It seems that the human race across the entire Universe looks the same in appearance, with no apparent differences, perhaps due to some kind of Law limitation.

The initially nurtured human race consisted of only three thousand people, but fortunately, there were no other creatures in the current Five Elements Small Realm, avoiding any dangers.

Moreover, their bodies retained traces of the Power of Laws, providing them strong survival capabilities. Coupled with the Heavenly Dao’s favor and the care from Li Zhirui and Yuhong, their development prospects are not too poor.

“Should we pass down the methods of cultivation?” In the Sky Dome, Yuhong gently asked while watching this group of humans quickly adapt and start searching for settlement spots.

Li Zhirui decisively refused, saying, “Not for now. The way of heaven, earth, and man isn’t solely about the human race; it also includes other creatures. If the human race develops prematurely and becomes too powerful, it would be detrimental to the subsequent nurturing of creatures, which is not beneficial for the development of the Five Elements Small Realm.”

Although he himself originated from the human race, he is now the Creator God of this world, and naturally must prioritize the development of the entire world.

Furthermore, although they appeared to be the same race, in essence, they were entirely different.

“Very well.”

Yuhong seemed indifferent to this and didn’t care much. She then said, “With this experience, the difficulty of creating life forms in the future has been significantly reduced, and it won’t require such a long time. Besides, if we’re not in a hurry, we can let the Heavenly Dao nurture by itself without our intervention.”

“That would be ideal!”

Li Zhirui showed a hint of a smile, as he could finally withdraw from it and focus on cultivation.

After leaving the Five Elements Small Realm, he exited the Cave Mansion and took a look at the events that had occurred over the past two or three hundred years.

Overall, the Primal Spirit Realm remained relatively peaceful and harmonious, without any large-scale wars erupting. It was only in a few permanent battlefields that war flared up again shortly after the end of the inter-realm war.

The changes within the family were also moving in a favorable direction.

The various plans laid by Li Chongmiao were now paying off, producing a vast amount of Spiritual Objects annually. Although the family couldn’t completely absorb them all at the moment, they could be reserved or sold externally.

This success granted her high prestige and authority within the family, especially as she received the support of many clan members, which many former Clan Leaders didn’t have!

However, Li Chongmiao was not as cheerful as others might expect, because the family tested more and more children with Spiritual Roots every year.

If this trend continued, the family would inevitably face a shortage of Spiritual Objects.

So she hoped to find a clan member who could come up with a solution to this issue, but unfortunately, she had not encountered anything useful, as they either had problems or were unsuitable.

“Sigh! The area around the family is too safe, and there’s no hostile force with evenly matched strength, so…” Using the method of consuming clan members through war was not feasible.

After some research, Li Chongmiao noticed that the family’s environment was too secure and comfortable, resulting in many clan members lacking the drive to venture outside and train.

These clan members stayed within the family with nothing to do, spending their days indulging in pleasure with groups of wives and concubines in bed, clouding their judgment.

Take a Golden Core clan member as an example; with a lifespan of five hundred years, besides cultivation and periods of weakness, the remaining time allows them to nurture hundreds or even thousands of descendants!

Of course, the mothers of these descendants were mostly ordinary people, as that was the only way to easily give birth to offspring.

However, if both parents were cultivators, the probability of pregnancy was very small, with the likelihood decreasing the higher the level of cultivation.

Yet the probability of their offspring possessing Spiritual Roots was much higher than that of ordinary offspring.

Each year, one-third of the family’s children tested with Spiritual Roots had such backgrounds, a very significant proportion!

“To reduce the number of clan members, addressing this matter is the quickest and most convenient way,” Li Chongmiao muttered to herself.

Cutting everything at once was certainly not feasible, so she thought of a compromise by mandating that these clan members are allowed to have two children with Spiritual Roots, and any excess would result in penalties, such as fines or labor tasks like mining.

She summoned the Elders to discuss the matter, primarily to seek their agreement, as they were the executors. If they all disagreed, it would be very difficult for Li Chongmiao to push it through forcefully.

Most of the Elders had no objections, as they were also somewhat disdainful of these clan members, viewing them as parasites consuming significant resources while contributing little!

In fact, their frenzied production of offspring served a purpose; the clan regulations previously stipulated that anyone whose offspring possessed a Spiritual Root would receive certain rewards.

This particular rule had not been abolished to this day!

They exploited this to acquire considerable resources from the clan.

So this time, Li Chongmiao planned to nullify this clan regulation. Without the reward enticing them, along with the added punishments, those parasites shouldn’t be able to live such carefree lives in the future.

“But if that’s the case, wouldn’t the family’s previously set rule that children and parents cannot meet become obsolete? Wouldn’t this make the family factions and sects grow even stronger?” a particular Elder suddenly raised this somewhat sensitive question.

Although the family consistently suppressed factions and sects, these were inevitable occurrences. All they could do was weaken these factions and maintain the family’s independence from their influence.
