The Hero Became a Succubus, and the Only Way to Level is to… What?!

When Kanae awakened later, Thored was still knocked out. His dick had since slipped out of her pussy, and the Mating Venom finally wore off and gave way too a clear mind. She scanned the chamber, recalling that the sign on the other side of the door called it an ’observation deck’.

The question was, an observation of what?

Kanae got up to inspect the candelabra-like apparatus Thored was messing with earlier. There had to be half a hundred branches, all ending with a glowing crystal rather than a candle on top. She reached for one at random, only for an illusory pane to appear and reveal an image of an adventuring party. No, not just an image. It was like watching a live broadcast of what was going on, and she could even hear them.

”Ugh. Do we even know what we’re supposed to find in this creepy place?”

”Your guess is as good as mine. I just want to go home…”

”It’s something Vizier Duran wants. That’s all I know. Whoever finds it first gets a fat payday. From the vizier of all people! We’ll be rolling in it. Now quit bellyaching and keep your lazy eyes peeled!”

After reaching for another branch, a new broadcast turned up. A pair of well-equipped adventurers were being chased by a rolling boulder down a tunnel, all the while cursing their luck. In another, two separate parties were bickering over who found a locked, iron-banded chest first. The individual crystals weren’t all that showed something. Kanae was able to touch a combination of them to bring up different views. She touched three crystals at random, bringing up a birds’ eye view of the dwarven city that was mentioned in this place. So, Thored was probably watching them this entire time.

What about the astrolabe object?

There had to be a few dozen spheres orbiting the radius of it. They came in many different sizes, varying material make, and odd engravings that Kanae couldn’t make heads or tails of.

”Didn’t Skill Drain take something from Thored earlier?” Kanae wondered aloud and checked her character sheet.

Dungeon Core Manipulation: You can magically create dungeons out of available materials and spawn existing monsters. Touch a powered dungeon core for the expanded manual to begin.]

Manual…

Kanae gazed up at the astrolabe and touched the closest orb made of copper, etched with geometric symbols.

Welcome back, Operator.

An airy feminine voice whispered straight into Kanae’s mind. That didn’t stop her from stepping away and glancing side to side.

”Uhm… Hello?” Kanae greeted back.

Please open your character sheet to continue, the voice came again.

Kanae did as asked, and a menu separate from her usual interface with skills and levels appeared.

[Select operation type to begin.

”Hmm. Dungeon then.” Kanae selected the first one.

[Dungeon selected.

”Oh, no. I’m not suited for this at all…” Kanae selected an option at random, and her finger landed on Expand.

The sphere began to click. A ridge formed, separating the upper and lower half to begin rotating in opposite directions. Information flooded into Kanae’s mind like the minotaurs had with her womb. An underground oasis she had never seen before became her most intimate knowledge. The lowest depths of the water, the highest point of the ceiling, what monsters currently existed there, the adventurers currently traversing its space, and more was known to her.

The influx of information made Kanae lightheaded. She swiped the space before her in panic, causing something to change. That change was also something she understood. The oasis area had increased by size two-folds. What was a modest cavern with an underground wellspring had now grown to twice its original size.

Kanae still wasn’t too sure what all this was, but it did feel similar to how Elizabeth Bedlam and Marwin Fransk created artificial Rifts. She ran back to the broadcasting area, hoping it was voice activated.

”Show me where Arenade is,” Kanae demanded.

Two different crystals lit up, and an illusory pane formed. The high elf priest was with Kara and Seven, but Theena and Renya were nowhere to be seen. They were slowly making their way over an gargantuan stone bridge, underneath of which were a bunch of desiccated bones and monsters waiting for their next mean to drop. When Kanae asked to see Kara and Renya next, the two appeared in another broadcast inside the dwarven ruins.

Both groups were safe for now. But how was she going to reunite with them?

”That’s far enough, succubus!” Thored exclaimed from behind.

Kanae whirled around to find the beastman back on two hooves, his hips no longer crushed, and a staff in his hand. An empty potion vial rolled away on the floor.

”I don’t know how you’re manipulating that, but step away from the console,” Thored ordered.

”Or what?” Kanae folded her arms. ”I’m just going fuck your hips broken again.”

”Let’s see you try that on this. Spawn Monster: Ettin!” He brandished his staff while tapping into his character sheet.

A creature larger and bulkier than an ogre with two heads materialized between them. What Thored called an ettin, scratched one of its heads, glanced around the area, and settled his gaze on Kanae. Its penis quickly grew erect, lifting the cloth around his waist.

”Oh.” Kanae gulped.

In one swift swipe, the ettin captured Kanae in its grasp.

”Hrmphh! Female?” He lifted her up and sniffed her crotch.

Both heads exchanged nods at each other.

”Breed!” the one with a horn on his head roared.

”I just had sex with a chimera! You think a single ettin is enough to— oooouughhhh!” Kanae’s protests turned into cries of pleasure when the monster forced her down onto his enormous cock.

Just like the minotaurs, the ettin was using her like a cock sleeve. She slid up and down the length of his soft in deep strokes. He came inside Kanae, filling her womb up and then some. Just once wasn’t enough. The ettin tightened his grip, squeezing all the cum out of her for the next round. Eventually, he left her hanging on his still erect member and turned to face the artificer.

”Had enough yet?” Thored taunted. ”Ettins are creatures of extraordinary stamina. It would take you days to drain him. I have five more in the holding cell just for you—”

Kanae exerted a charm on the ettin, compelling him to reach for Thored. The beastman was quicker. He jumped back, eyes wide with surprise.

”Damn it. I was so close…” Kanae cursed under her breath and wrenched herself free from the fat dick embedded inside her.

”Spawn Monster: Roper, Minotaur, Wyvern, Drake, Zombie!” Thored manifested numerous aggressive enemies in an attempt to overwhelm Kanae, who instead charmed all of them with exception of the zombie which she had to destroy.

Kanae rolled her eyes. ”Whatever you send at me, you know it won’t work… right? I’m a succubus. If I can’t charm them, I’ll just drain them.”

”Spawn Monster: Black Slime!” He called forth a gelatinous black monstrosity, the one thing she couldn’t charm, which moved slowly toward her.

”Come on…” She flew just out of reach when a tentacle suddenly latched onto her ankle. ”Shit!”

Thored flashed a taunting grin.

Meanwhile, Kanae thought fast. Wait. Maybe Thored was manifesting them through the same skill. She accessed her character sheet and navigated to the ’Monsters’ option.

[Monster selected.

Kanae selected the ’Remove’ option on the black slime, and it vanished from sight.

”That’s not very fair!” Thored groaned.

”I’m going to suck your dick!” Kanae threatened, taking a flying start and slamming him into the ground.

Thored resisted at first, but as soon as she wrapped her lips around the tip of his throbbing dick, he shot the biggest load yet and went still. Blowjob Proficiency was much more potent against anything higher level than her, and the Necro Lord was high enough to have granted her experience earlier.

”I give… I’m not equipped to handle a succubus. If you’re going to enslave me, all I ask is that you don’t make use of whatever that skill was that shattered my hips,” Thored pleaded.

”I don’t plan to charm or hurt you. We’re technically allies. My country, the Commonwealth of Sin, is in an alliance with Artaggon and Radevic,” Kanae explained.

”What?” He squinted dubiously at her. ”Why didn’t you say that earlier?”

”Be honest, would you really have believed a random succubus telling you she’s allied with Lord Charron?”

Thored pursed his lips and decided against answering. Kanae helped him to his hooves. They stared at each other awkwardly. He was still naked after she ripped his robes off. She was still covered in cum, dried and new.

”Let me ask you, because I’m still in disbelief: is the succubi race truly allies with Lord Charron again?” Thored asked.

”Er. It’s complicated. I’m not a succubus from the Succubus Wars. Queen-Mother Zariah, Lord Charron, and I were allies during the Ortesian invasion. She and her people have since withdrawn into their own country on the surface now. I’m Queen Kanae of the Commonwealth and Knight of Amethyst of Aidenhall,” Kanae introduced herself.

”That much has happened while I’ve been down here? Lord Charron doesn’t send me any letters! Ever since he reassigned me to take over Necro Lord Tomb #3 50 years ago, I’ve been on my own ever since…”

”Wait, only five decades ago? You weren’t down here for hundreds of years like the others?” she asked.

The beastman shook his head and shrugged.

He continued, ”Before I was Necro Lord, I was Lieutenant Thored. I served as Lord Charron’s chief scientist at Manservahl, the seat of power in Artaggon. For the past half century and likely well into my living death, I manage Necro Lord Tomb #3, having replaced my predecessor.”

In other words, Thored fully expected to serve even after dying. Necro Lord Zogoth and Necro Lord Cantu were at least over a century in age. Their bodies had long decomposed, looking like undead beings after so long. Come to think of it, Thored was the first flesh-having Necro Lord she had laid eyes on. Wait a minute…

”So… hold on… I’m looking for a relic that’s said to exist inside this tomb. Vizier Duran is looking for it. Something that Lord Charron had apparently taken a long time ago. Maybe you remember him giving it to you?” Kanae asked.

”Oh, that.” Thored wandered over to the broadcast table and sucked in an uneasy breath. ”I’d love to hand it over to you… But it’s been eaten by a monster, and I can’t seem to contain it.”

Necro Lord Thored touched five different crystals, bringing up a black screen. Or so Kanae thought. The environment was completely dark, save for the cluster of many red eyes staring back at them. Whatever it was, it didn’t look friendly.

”In my attempts to create a strong, final boss monster at the end of this tomb, I… might have made it too strong. So strong that it resisted all attempts to despawn or reset the dungeon it’s residing in,” Thored explained.

”Is that really possible?!” Kanae gasped.

”Well, seeing is believing.” He repeatedly smashed the Remove option on the creature behind the screen, but it was still there.

Kanae couldn’t leave without that Saviran artifact. Well, she could. Vizier Duran’s problems were his own, and Savir’s civil war was of no concern to her. The rest of her honeymoon with Arenade hinged on completing this quest though, and having a powerful political figure from another country owe her was a nice reward in itself.

Here was a Necro Lord Kanae had managed to break the ice with. They might still be suspicious of each other, but not immediately going for the throat was a nice start.

”I have a proposal,” Kanae began. ”I skill drained Dungeon Core Manipulation from you and can use it, too. I’ll help you put a stop to that monster. In exchange, you let me take the artifact.”

”You’re asking a lot from me, succubus. Lord Charron entrusted the Necro Lords of Necro Lord Tomb #3 to safeguard that artifact. You say you’re allies with my lord, I’d at least like to hear from him first,” Thored offered as a condition.

Vizier Duran would have to wait then. Actually, that was fine. He never specified about needing the artifact, just to keep it away from the agents of the Harpy King.

”Deal.” Kanae nodded.

Both of them extended hands to shake on it. Kanae clasped something else.

”Succubus… that’s my penis,” Thored said.

”I know what I grabbed. Now that we have a truce, how about I make some amends for messing up the place?” Kanae asked, squeezing his throbbing cock.

Thored swallowed hard. Whatever he was about to say, Kanae would have to hear the answer later. The entire chamber flashed red.

”What’s going on?!” Kanae cried.

”This alarm goes off when a floor boss has been defeated! I haven’t heard it in years. Show us what’s happening!” Thored shouted at the broadcasting apparatus.

Yes, Operators.

A large screen showed a group of eight high elven knights and two drakeling dragoons inside the ruins of a garrison. They stood over the broken body of a massive stone construct, reduced to a pile of pebbles.

”That’s much deeper than Veteran adventurers of Kandis have progressed!” Thored gasped.

To make matters worse, Arenade, Kara, and Seven had just crossed the bridge and were entering the garrison. They were about to make contact with the Ortesian group. Arenade was strong, but she wasn’t eight Ortesian knights and two Rotandrix dragoons strong.
