Chapter 979 - 289: I Will Launch the War (10,000) (Part 4)

Or perhaps.

Thrown down from the city wall, buried under rolling wood and stones...

Tens of thousands of soldiers could be described as countless, like a meat grinder, not an exaggeration at all.

Thinking of such a scene, Lynn’s breathing inadvertently quickened.

His emotions became restless.

Through war, he could quickly accumulate a massive amount of capital!

Food, wealth, manpower, resources.

At the same time, it could allow him more expansive land, higher honor!

Ultimately, to become a ruler of a region.

Even to achieve the throne!

But soon.

Lynn forcibly suppressed his somewhat agitated emotions.

Compared to the military strength of these great lords, with tens of thousands of fully armed soldiers...

The power he currently possessed was still too weak.

His territory was on the edge of the Karedi Empire.

Lack of manpower, backward productivity, barren land, far from the economic center...

Southern Border Land.

In the eyes of those great lords, it held no value.

Otherwise.

Once these great lords launched an attack on him.

Even if he relied on Manor Castle and built garrisons.

And formed a pincer movement with Morgan Town, becoming the first line of defense for his territory.

In addition to his existing outpost fortress, city walls, and Weng City.

He still couldn’t resist the army of soldiers from the great lords.

The gap in soldier numbers and overall quality was simply too immense!

However.

Relying on the [Heavenly Artifacts] he had, as long as he had enough development time.

Catching up with these so-called great lords wasn’t a fantasy!

But to achieve all this.

He must solidly advance step by step!

Lynn’s gaze turned, looking once more at Gasper in front of him, and he asked.

”Besides these two matters, is there anything else to report to me?”

After a brief deliberation in his mind, Gasper spoke.

”No, sir, not at the moment.”

Lynn responded, ”Then step down and find Steward Kuisi to receive Ten Gold Pounds for future intelligence gathering expenses.”

Gasper bent slightly and said respectfully, ”Thank you, sir.”

Without any further words, Gasper took his leave.

Watching Gasper depart.

Lynn stepped toward the nearby canteen.

Immersing himself in the kitchen, continuing to accumulate [Cooking] skills experience.

[Cooking Experience +1]

...

Through his continuous culinary labor.

Little by little, his experience rapidly increased.

As for the war between Marquis Duca and Marquis Polk beyond his territory.

With tens of thousands of soldiers, using large siege equipment in their battles.

It was too distant for him.

Rather than worrying about these, he immersed himself more in maximizing his skills.

However.

The outbreak of war between the two marquises slightly eased his always-tense heart.

As long as the Ducas Clan engaged with Marquis Polk.

They would definitely not deploy the Sword and Shield Corps soldiers to Kakasong City in the Southern Border Land to militarily aid Jon Zuck!

As long as no other armed forces provided military aid to Jon Zuck.

The variables he worried about in his heart could be directly dismissed!

With the armed forces he currently held, it was sufficient to confront Jon Zuck!

Waiting for Yimini to lead the laborers to complete the remaining composite armor assembly and production.

He would then have 4,200 fully armed soldier guards!

Plus the 800 newly incorporated Pan Rock Iron Guard.

Once they were equipped with armor and weapons.

His territory would boast 5,000 genuine soldiers!

Although in numbers, it couldn’t compete with the combined forces of Viscount Jon Zacks and the various manor lords.

But.

He had the advantage in armor!

Such an advantage was enough to completely erase the not-so-significant numerical disparity!

Lynn even felt that his strength might be far above Jon Zuck’s camp!

With this in mind.

As he awaited the simmering pig bone pea soup on the stove, Lynn.

Turned his gaze to Red, who was always at his side.

”Dispatch guards to the city wall barracks and notify Rose.”

”Aside from the soldiers stationed at the wall, have the remaining soldiers gather promptly before nightfall!”

”Await my orders for any deployment!”

Upon hearing Lynn’s sudden words, Hai De raised his brow.

Without any inquiries, he immediately responded.

”Yes, sir, I’ll make the arrangements now!”

As Master Lynn’s personal guard.

Beyond ensuring Master Lynn’s personal safety.

He didn’t need to ponder over any other orders.

He only needed to act according to commands, which sufficed!

Watching as Red left the kitchen to instruct the guards, heading to the wall to deliver his directive.

Lynn did not mindlessly rush out.

Instead, he continued waiting for the pot of pig bone pea soup simmering on the stove...

He had already formulated a strategy to deal with Viscount Jon Zuck in his mind.

But due to the Ducas Clan’s Sword and Shield Corps soldiers and the ongoing crop harvest in Morgan Town.

He had to wait.

Since the variables had vanished, waiting was no longer necessary!

Instead of idly waiting for a lurking crisis to knock on his door.

It was better to take the initiative!

Directly quelling the crisis in its infancy!

As long as the entire Jon Zuck camp was annihilated.

The Free People of Morgan Town would have plenty of time to gradually harvest the crops in the farmland.
