The Conquerors Path

Chapter 782: Chapter 780-New Updates. . . .

I have come to understand a lot about what I am, which has only gone forth to bring forth more questions about myself to me, the skills I have, the way in which I was born, and the secrets I had to uncover in the past, all of that coming to haunt me down as my mind started to swirl around with everything. ʼThere is no knowledge without price, they sayʼ

And the price of my knowledge has only come forth with me having even more questions about who and what I am, not to mention this damn bloodline of mine that seems to go against every law of this place, my gaze focusing deeply at the central part of my divinity as I asked. ʼWe have a lot to talk about, donʼt we, system?ʼ [That we do.] ʼSo, how was the update?ʼ [It went well. A lot of new functions popped up, while the previous simple design has gotten more complex and detailed. It also came with the boost to your protection and your own divinity.]

I smiled at that reply as I got to understand the fact that ʼIʼ myself have created this system, at least the 4th half of mine supplying the system is its true creator, his goal wanting to get the girls to have my sympathies at the situation, even more so when the situation on its own is getting out of hand. ʼSo you are a part of me, but at the same time not, am I right?ʼ

I asked, to which the system replied. [I can, in a sense, be said to be an offspring of yours, a similar situation to what you have with Aria but different.]

My lips twitched at the mention of Aria, her presence leaning very close to me at times. I havenʼt even forgotten about the secret peeks she tries to take into my life, due to which I had to be careful about the steps I took, though the seduction part of that is coming along well; after all, even Aria is considered a capture target.

My head spun a bit at the thought as I spoke to the system. ʼShow me the new detailed system, please.ʼ

And with that, the display came in front of me. [Dominion Nexus System] 1. Status Overview 2. Capture Target Interface 3. Affection Dynamics 4. Divine Power Registry 5. Influence Network 6. A small smile came to my face, seeing all the changes in this, a lot of new things, with greater definition and more complexity it, now shining in front of me. Heck, the name simply changed from the support system to the Dominion Nexus System, while the simple structure I had of the status, shop, notepad, and information changed into something like this. ʼI guess when you hit the divine, things change. System, show me my status.ʼ [Status Screen: Austin Lionheart]

The side of corruption is right, but the side of order has yet to be seen, not to mention the fact that there lay an even deeper understanding of the divine powers I use, the side of order providing for much more useful tips, plus itʼs no longer just corruption for me; I stand within the higher place of chaos and order.
