Regression - Second Chance At Life

Chapter 190 190: Pleasant Loneliness

Adam watches with a smirk as the guard drags Drake while everyone watches, whispering and talking about the incident. Some of them look at Adam and, seeing his tall frame and handsome face, immediately assume him as the hero who saved the damsel in distress.

Adam, of course, doesnʼt care what these bystanders think.

He turns to look at Lana, who still looks distraught from what just happened. She saw a side of Drake she had never seen before.

Sure, she only started dating him, but she never expected him to say those words.

He acted completely differently from when he approached her. Though he belonged to the popular group, he acted down-to-earth, was sweet, and said all the right things.

Add his handsome face to the mix, Lana thought she had finally found someone decent. Even though her friends were a little skeptical about Drake, she assured them that he is not a bad guy.

This night was supposed to be the day Drake and her friends got to spend some time together and get to know each other a little better.

Never did she expect that just the addition of one guy would bring everything crashing to the ground.

Just because of Adam, her friends got a chance to push Drake, and it made Drake spiral crazily.

Lana never expected Drake to be hiding all that inside him. She didnʼt expect him to resent her friend group so much.

She realized that Drake only wanted to get in her pants and to do that, put on this elaborate act of being a kind, down-to-earth guy, who also seems to magically be in tune with everything she likes and everything she hates.

As Lana comes to this realization, she looks up and meets Adamʼs eyes, who is looking back at her with a blank stare. He isnʼt showing any sign of emotion on his face for her to bounce back on and react to what just happened.

Sure, Adam just helped her get out of an unwanted situation, but she also blames him for the cause of this unwanted situation. But then again, she feels more conflicted because if this unwanted situation hadnʼt occurred, she would have never seen the side of Drake she just saw.

She never expected Drakeʼs ego would be so fragile that it would shatter on the very first confrontation with a guy who has it all and is better than him in every other way. Thatʼs Adam.

Whether itʼs looks or strength, Drake couldnʼt match Adam. And thereʼs one more thing that Adam has that Drake doesnʼt, which makes him better.

Adam doesnʼt pretend to be someone he isnʼt.

Just because she is a beautiful girl, he never changed the way he acted.

Lana felt very conflicted, not knowing how to react, but feeling the hurt of her heart break, she quickly zeroed down on anger.

”This is all your fault!” She yells, and Adam turns and leaves, while Adam just watches with a surprised gaze, but he quickly goes back to looking normal again.

He doesnʼt take her words to heart. He can clearly see that Lana got hurt by Drakeʼs harsh words. She just needed someone to direct her anger towards, and he was the closest one to her.

Adam watched as Lana joined her friend group and started crying while they consoled her.

ʼI should give them some space,ʼ Adam thinks. He didnʼt want to just stand there like a creep and watch Lana cry while her friends tried to ease her pain.

And he just standing there and watching her might eirk her even more, which will only invite more abuse towards him. Lana didnʼt say a lot to him, but he is certain that if he continues to hover around her, she might explode.

Adamʼs a prideful man; he wonʼt let a woman badmouth him for no reason, so for his sake and also Lanaʼs. He decides to go somewhere else.

Since she is no longer with Drake and has joined her friends, they can look after her for a while.

The band that Lana and her friends came to see will still take an hour or so to start; thatʼs enough time for Adam to explore.

He turns and leaves.

Walking around, Adam finds a few interesting things. Delicious food to try, some games to win prizes, and vendors selling stuff related to music and bands that are here. A few musical instruments, merchandise, and many more.

Adam has no interest in any merchandise, but the musical instruments; thatʼs something that he takes his time looking through.

After mastering the essence of piano playing, Adam felt a sense of high. The ability to play a piece of music just as it was intended to by just hearing it once, how many people can replicate what Adam did?

He canʼt think of anyone.

So Adam wonders if he can achieve the same with other instruments, what about instruments where he can use his hands, something like a flute, a clarinet, or maybe even a trumpet.

ʼLetʼs get this,ʼ Adam thinks, and buys himself a simple flute to see if he can replicate the same thing he managed to do with the piano.

With a flute in his hand, Adam continues to walk around, stopping before a few food stalls to taste the food thatʼs on display.

Though he was alone, Adam enjoyed his time.

There were moments where a few girls approached him here and there, trying to get his number, but he politely rejected them as he has no interest in talking to girls right now.

He has been so focused on improving himself, getting revenge, and socializing with others that he forgot to give himself some alone time.

He forgot how much he loved being alone sometimes, cutting out the rest of the world from his thoughts and living in his head.

He thought that he had built such a habit because of his own loneliness. Since he had no friends, no family, and no lover, he liked being in his own head. That was his past, when he was a fat old loser.

But now, even when he has everything he ever wanted. Right now, as he finds himself alone, he still feels content with just being alone.

There is no desire or need to find someone, be with someone. Adam realized that even if he went back to being all alone, he wouldnʼt mind it much.

But of course, unlike the past, he will never be a fat loser. He will still be in control of his life. If he chooses to be all alone, it will be because he wanted it, not because others abandoned him as in his past life.

This new revelation puts a smile on his face as he walks through the crowd towards one of the many restrooms in the area.

Since the concert is being held inside the park, there are already multiple restrooms to use.

Adam takes his time, trying to find a remote restroom, one that isnʼt crowded, as he wants to enjoy the moment of peaceful loneliness he is feeling right now.

Adam finally found one, though it was at the very edge of the park; it was worth it because there was almost no one around. Everyoneʼs at the center, enjoying the music and food.

He enters the speciously empty washroom and makes his way towards the urinal when suddenly he hears the sound of moans.

Adam stops. His eyes immediately zero in on the very last toilet cabinet. It wasnʼt hard for his sharp ears to lock onto the source of the sound.

ʼLooks like I am not the only one who wanted some privacy,ʼ Adam thinks with a smile and decides to ignore the couple.

He walks up to one of the urinals to relieve himself when suddenly the moans start getting loud, along with the clapping sound.

”Annn~ Annnnn~ AANNNNN~ YESSS~ YEESSS~ FUCKKK~ YESSS~” Adam hears the moans and raises his voice. For some reason, he finds the voice familiar.

”You like that, huh? You liked getting fucked hard by my massive cock, donʼt you?” Adam then hears the guyʼs voice, followed by sounds of the womanʼs ass getting smacked hard.

”YESSS~ I love how big your cock is~ FUUCKKK~” The woman says, moaning.

Adam is now very certain about the identities of these two people. Itʼs none other than Zydan and his wife Sherly.

ʼWhoa, I didnʼt know you were so adventurous, Zydan. You go at it,ʼ Adam thinks as he hears the pounding get louder. Zydan is giving it to Sherly as he moans, also getting louder.

”You like that, you cheating bitch? You like having another manʼs cock inside you while your husbandʼs out there looking for you like a clueless idiot?” Zydanʼs words hit Adamʼs ears.

Adamʼs eyes immediately shoot wide. He canʼt believe what he just heard.

ʼWait, thatʼs not Sherly with him? Is he fucking some other woman?ʼ Adam questions.

”YESS! I love having you cock inside me~ I am a dirty, cheating whore~” Adam listens to those words, that tone, and he is very certain that it is Sherly, Zydanʼs wife.

ʼNo way... Donʼt tell me...ʼ As Adam is about to conclude something, he gets hit by another bomb.

”Your husband must be a massive loser for you to be cheating on him with a guy you just met an hour ago, huh?” Zydan says.

”Yes~ He is such a fucking loser~ I canʼt stand his pathetic existence. I needed a strong young man to fuck me hard and show me how to really fuck and make me feel alive. So fuck me~ Fuck Me HARD~ AAADDAAMMMMM~” Sherly moans out loud.

Adam is stunned.
