Mystic Eyes: My Eyes Steal the Laws of Cultivation

Chapter 275: 8° stage of the Qi Liberation Realm

Twenty days passed.

The pace in the Blood Court did not slow down. Every morning, before the sun rose above the dark clouds, Kyrian was already in the Blood Core courtyard.

The other five arrived shortly after. The training was never late. Never postponed. Never light.

Kyrian maintained a fixed rule. No Qi. Only body, technique, and instinct.

At the beginning, that seemed like a limitation for them. Over time, it became an advantage. Without Qi to mask flaws, every mistake was exposed. Imprecise movements were punished. Hesitations were exploited. And against Kyrian, nothing went unnoticed.

His eyes analyzed everything.

For him, the movements of the five were still slow. No matter how fast they were, they were still in slow motion before him.

Kyrian was always one step ahead. Two. Sometimes, three. It was this difference that made Kyrian frightening in combat.

Even so, they evolved.

At the beginning, they could barely pressure him. Now, Kyrian needed to truly move. His feet did not remain fixed. His body was no longer an immovable wall. He dodged, retreated, and counterattacked.

The main reason was teamwork. Individually, none of them stood a chance against Kyrian. They all knew that. But together, it was different. They began to act as a real unit.

Li Fen did not run without thinking. He moved to cut paths and limit space. Bai Zhu stopped just attacking, he pressured and created opportunities. Kai lost his hesitation. His strikes were direct and decisive. Yan Ling reduced excessive analysis and trusted instinct more. Her attacks flowed better.

And Mei Li became the heart of the group. She was not the strongest nor the fastest. But she saw the whole. She decided when to attack, retreat, and apply pressure. That completely changed the dynamic of the fights.

After twenty days, Kyrian finally needed to put in effort. Not to win, but to maintain control. The fights lasted longer. Five minutes. Seven. Sometimes almost ten. And they held on, endured, learned, and improved.

For Kyrian, that was also useful. His combat experience deepened. He began to adapt to their new level.

But the mornings were only half of the day.

As soon as training ended, Kyrian disappeared. His destination was always the same. The room, the cauldron, the gray flame that burned constantly. The smell of spiritual herbs had permeated the environment.

Another battle happened there. Alchemy.

After so many days refining rank 2 pills, Kyrian had reached a new level. Ninety-five percent purity. Not in one, but in five different pills.

Qi recovery pills, healing pills, Qi concentration pills, physical strengthening pills, and spiritual cleansing pills.

Five variations. Five successes.

For the remaining rank 2 pills, it was a matter of practice. A few more attempts, a few more failures, and he would master them all. His progress was abnormal for someone who had started only a few months ago. But Kyrian did not seem satisfied. His gaze was already ahead. On rank 3 pills. The next step. His next challenge.

On the twenty-first day, something changed.

As soon as the training ended, Kyrian did not stay in the courtyard. He turned and walked back to his dormitory. Without saying anything.

The room was silent. Only the faint crackling of the flame beneath the cauldron. The aroma of herbs filled the air. Kyrian sat in the center.

He extended his hand. A pile of mid-grade spiritual stones appeared in front of him. The energy was dense, pure.

Without hesitation, he began.

He picked up the first stone and brought it close to his eyes. In the next instant, it disappeared, converted into pure energy, absorbed, refined, and sent directly to his dantian.

One. Two. Ten. Twenty.

The stones disappeared one after another. Without pause. Without waste. His eyes reacted. The Qi stirred, circulated faster, and became denser and heavier. His two dantians rotated simultaneously, absorbing, refining, and evolving.

The process lasted about half an hour.

Then...

A silent wave spread through the room. The air trembled slightly. Kyrian’s Qi changed. It became stronger. More refined.

He opened his eyes slowly. A faint light passed through his pupils.

8° stage of the Qi Liberation Realm.

His strength increased considerably.

Kyrian remained silent for a few seconds, feeling and evaluating the new limit placed by his eyes.

One hundred and twenty days. Four months. That was the time until the next advance.

But, unlike before, he did not care. There was no hurry. There was still much to do, much to learn. Especially in alchemy.

And, besides that, there was another objective, more distant. The gathering of the Domains. The Verdant Sword Sect. He was still a disciple from there, even having left. He intended to return, participate, and close that cycle before moving to the true center of cultivation, the Central Territory.

...

The next day, Kyrian was woken up early.

A light knock on the door. Mei Li. He opened it, without words, just nodded and followed.

When he arrived at the Blood Core hall, everyone was already there. Sitting, cultivating, absorbing the dense blood energy of the environment. But as soon as Kyrian entered, they stopped.

Bai Zhu was the first to stand up. He walked to Kyrian with firm and determined eyes.

”Now we can already resist you for about ten minutes.” he said, clenching his fist.

”We have improved a lot. But it is not enough.”

His gaze intensified.

”We want to fight one on one.”

Kyrian remained silent for a moment. It made sense. In real battles, they would not always be together. Each one would need to stand on their own.

He nodded.

”Alright. One per day. I will train each of you separately.”

Bai Zhu smiled, excited.

”Perfect.”

Kyrian took a few steps forward and stopped in the center of the courtyard. He looked at Bai Zhu.

”You first.”

Bai Zhu did not hesitate. He advanced. His fist came straight, heavy, explosive.

Kyrian moved. Dodged. He was fast and precise. Then... His finger touched Bai Zhu’s shoulder.

”Movement too wide.”

Bai Zhu froze for an instant, but continued. Another strike, faster. Kyrian blocked.

”Too much force without control.”

Another attack. Kyrian dodged again.

”Predictable.”

Bai Zhu did not stop. On the contrary, he smiled. The more Kyrian pointed out his mistakes, the more excited he became. His attacks began to change, adjust, and improve.

And Kyrian continued. Correcting, guiding, and training Bai Zhu while they fought.
