Supreme Sword God

Chapter 644: Chapter 643: Hidden Clan, Power of the Contract

In just a few breaths, Ye Chen caught up with the young man who was trying to escape.

The young man sensed a terrifying sharpness approaching from behind, gritted his teeth, and suddenly turned around to launch an attack!

His left hand formed a seal, releasing the power of the spirit seal, which transformed into a massive fireball; his right hand swung a blade, revealing four Grotto Heavens around the blade’s aura, though they had clearly just broken through!

Faced with this sudden explosive counterattack by the young man, the demonic Qi within Ye Chen surged wildly, merging with the unified power system of spirit and martial power.

Ye Chen swung his sword to strike!

”Boom!”

The massive fireball was cleaved in half by a single sword strike.

”Clang!”

The clash of blade and sword caused the young man’s gripping hand to be unable to withstand the violent force, and it exploded into a mist of blood.

The man’s figure was sent flying backward.

Ye Chen lunged forward again, slashing down with the Celestial Mark Sword!

A light curtain emerged over the man’s body.

”Boom!”

Ye Chen’s sword was blocked by the light curtain, but the immense force caused the man’s body to crash into the ground like a cannonball.

The earth was struck, forming a massive crater, with cracks spreading in all directions.

The Seven-Star Sword Array and Nine Intentions Celestial Splitting Sword Array roared into the crater.

”Ahhhh!”

A piercing scream sounded.

Ye Chen’s figure swooped down, landing next to the crater.

Inside the crater, swords were embedded in the young man’s body... a total of sixteen swords, pinning him to the bottom of the crater, completely immobilized!

”Ye Chen, I’m from the Situ Family. If you kill me, you will invite disaster upon yourself, not even Cangzhou True Martial Hall can protect you... You may not have heard of the Situ Family, but you can ask Shi Fengchun if he dares provoke us!”

The man screeched sharply!

Ye Chen’s eyes flashed.

Since when did a bold Situ Family emerge in Cangzhou?

It’s known that the three major families of Celestial Cyan City, the Qi Family, the Wang Family, and the Tang Family are all strong, but none dared to openly challenge Shi Fengchun’s authority.

Yet, the guy before Ye Chen thinks even Shi Fengchun wouldn’t dare provoke their Situ Family...

No wonder Brother Chun mentioned before that what he knew about Cangzhou was just the surface.

It appears this Situ Family is indeed a hidden powerful force within the Cangzhou Realm!

Truly strong, not just the guys with several bodyguards, but this guy’s strength and talent are considered top-notch.

His age isn’t very advanced either.

A Tier Six Celestial Seal Spirit Master with Heaven-Reaching Realm cultivation.

Just unlucky to encounter Ye Chen, otherwise, some veteran Heaven-Reaching Realm experts might fall into his hands if careless.

But, who cares how strong he is!

The Situ Family has unwarrantedly provoked Ye Chen, so he would deal with them!

”Speak, why are you looking for me?” Ye Chen huffed coldly.

He had no grievances with the Situ Family, hearing of them for the first time, yet their people wanted to search for his third uncle’s soul, there must be some reason.

The man shouted angrily: ”Ye Chen, you better let me go now, or you’ll regret it, and you won’t get any information from me!”

Ye Chen sneered.

This is another fool who hasn’t experienced the world’s harshness.

I’ve killed your people, do I care about the Situ Family’s revenge?

As if not killing you now, the Situ Family would let it go...

Even if the Situ Family wanted to let it go, Ye Chen wouldn’t agree!

In the next moment, a thought from Ye Chen sprang forth, causing the sixteen embedded middle-grade Dao Swords imbued with the unified power of spirit and martial strength to erupt again.

A dreadful pig-slaughtering scream resounded.

Ye Chen shouted fiercely, ”You won’t speak, then I’ll keep torturing you, you won’t be able to die, and if you dare lie, I’ll sense it, don’t forget I’m an Extreme Celestial Seal Spirit Master, it’d be easy to detect your emotional fluctuations!”

Being threatened so often, Ye Chen spoke such fierce words with seasoned experience!

”I’ll tell... I’ll tell...”

”Who sent you here?!”

”Our family elder...”

”Why do your family elders want to trouble me? What’s your goal? Why do you want to search my third uncle’s soul?”

”The entire Eastern Domain... is searching for prodigies under thirty years old... investigating their backgrounds...”

A glint of cold light flashed in Ye Chen’s eyes: ”The entire Eastern Domain? Who has such power!”

”I don’t know...”

”What’s the situation with your Situ Family, and which other forces are doing the same question?”

”The Situ Family... is a Hidden Clan, rarely showing themselves... as for who else is doing this... I’m not sure, I just heard the Elder mention it once...”

Ye Chen’s heart already held an answer.

To mobilize hidden forces across the entire Eastern Domain to investigate the backgrounds of prodigies under thirty, it is likely the beings from Primitive Heaven have found their way to the Eastern Domain!

Ye Chen snorted coldly, ”How did you find your way here?”

”I wandered around, collecting backgrounds of some Cangzhou geniuses, but the Elder insisted I gather at least ten, I was short one...

Though I thought you were dead, I still wanted to seek out your relatives.

Then I came to the Great Zhou Dynasty, heard you were alive, went to the former location of your Ye Family in Qingyun City, found the things your third uncle had contacted, using a secret technique tracked you here!”

Ye Chen: ”...”

This Situ Family, really impressive, are they bloodhounds?

Third Uncle left Qingyun City almost a year ago, yet they could still track him here using residual aura!

”Ye Chen, I am a direct descendant of the Situ Family. Upon birth, a special power is planted within us. Once you kill me, that power’s aura will cling to you, and my Situ Family members will immediately know you killed me when they encounter you... give me a chance to live, I can swear to never divulge any information regarding you.”

Ye Chen said, ”Even if you swear, I won’t be assured, so you might as well die!”

As the words finished.

The swords embedded in the man erupted with sharp energy!

The man’s vitality instantly dissipated.

Following that, a very subtle aura drifted from the corpse, rolling towards Ye Chen.

If Ye Chen didn’t have his Martial Arts Celestial Eye, even with augmented spiritual power, he wouldn’t have noticed.

Ye Chen snorted coldly, the unified power of spirit and martial instantly erupted, trying to disperse the aura.

Yet.

This aura directly pierced through the unified power, and seemingly about to fall upon Ye Chen, he jolted, the ancient clan’s source gushed into his hand, grabbed hold of the aura.

”Elder Qingyi, what is happening here?” Ye Chen asked Luo Qingyi, bewildered.

Though Luo Qingyi was still upset over Ye Chen’s matter with Miss Hei, he coldly replied, ”A kind of contractual magic.”

”Can it be destroyed?”

”Difficult, you cannot do it now.”

”Forget it, keep it for now, later when I find someone displeasing, I’ll throw it at them.”

Saying this, Ye Chen chuckled.

Almost like opening the doors to a new world.

Situ Family is impressive?

Fine, later I’ll kill more Situ Family members, throw this contractual magic on Qi Family individuals, toss some on the Celestial Demon Sect’s side, and distribute some among Holy Fist Sect.

Let the Situ Family seek revenge!
