Strongest Abandoned Son

Another half a day had passed but Ye Mo was still revising his pill concoction process.

Ever since he became pill king he had never used so much time to think about pill concoction process except that time at Pill City tournament. Usually he would try again immediately if he made a mistake. Through practice he would be able to quickly find out the problem.

But now his herbs didn’t belong to him. He would have to pay compensation if he wasted it. he didn’t have anything to pay with.

Just when he was revising the spirit gathering process, he was shook and realized.

The immortal pills were immortal pills because they had immortal force. Spirit pills needed pill master to gather spirit but immortal pills needed to be formed based on the characteristics of the immortal spirit herb. using the same type of immortal spirit herb, high level pill masters would have different means and pill chants. Yet, he used the spirit gathering method for concocting heaven grade pills. It would be strange if he could concoct immortal pills that way.

If it wasn’t that his pill concoction method and flame was too powerful, that cauldron of pills might not even be heaven grade level nine.

Suddenly, he thought of the jade slip the great eternity immortal young girl gave him. The pill concoction section had a sentence “pill dao, the dao of eeriness. More than thousands of concocters yet hard for one to attain pill dao.”

Without a flexible mind and creativity, one could never become a top grade pill master. He would at most become a pill concoction machine for low grade pills.

This was why many pill master have little success rates for pill concoction.

Realizing what the problem was, Ye Mo set his mind down and started concocting the second cauldron of pills. Half an hour later, there was a burnt crisp smell. Ye Mo knew the second attempt failed but instead, he wasn’t worried anymore.

This was intentional as he wanted to test something. He needed to verify his guess and his pill separation technique. Reality proved that he was completely correct.

In the hall, Yi Teng and the girl had waited for nearly a day. At the start they were unfazed because an ordinary immortal pill master would need more than half a day to concoct three cauldrons.

But it has been a day now. even if Ye Mo was a little worse he should’ve been finished. Both of them seemed a little worried especially that dark faced female cultivator.

“do you think that pill master Ye finished concocting all nine sets of immortal spirit herb?” she finally couldn’t help asking Yi Teng.

Yi Teng knew the girl was desperate too. If it wasn’t that one could only leave through the main hall he would’ve thought Ye Mo had left the spirit rest tower.

Just when he wanted to speak, he saw Ye Mo walk out of the room and wave his hands to them “come up.”

Hearing this, they sprung up immediately and darted to Ye Mo’s room.

Ye Mo closed the room and put on restrictions before taking out two bottles of pills to the female cultivator “this is your up hollow pill are you happy?”

Then he gave another bottle to the excited Yi Teng.

The female cultivator shakily tipped the pills to her hand.

“top grade up hollow pill…” she stared at Ye Mo in shock. She didn’t expect she would be able to get top grade pills. Only level three immortal pill master could concoct top grade up hollow pills.

“top grade earth essence pill?” Yi Teng called out in shock too.

The pills he got from pill master Feng had always been middle grade and sometimes low grade but no matter what he had to take it. but now, he got an entire bottle of top grade pills. Didn’t this mean that this pill master Ye was at least level three immortal pill master?”

Ye Mo made six cauldron’s of pills altogether, he failed twice for the up hollow pill and the last three times he made two batches of top grade and one batch of special grade up hollow pill.

As for earth essence pill, he made two batches of top grade and the last batch was spirit range. He failed the first time.

He was planning to give them some special grade pills if they weren’t satisfied but now it didn’t seem necessary.

“pill master Ye Yi Teng didn’t expect you were a level three immortal pill master…” Yi Teng said shakily. Clearly he was very excited to know a level three immortal pill master. Not only were his pills better than Feng his price was much lower too.

Ye Mo smiled. Of course he wasn’t going to admit he was only a level one immortal pill master. Plus he believed it would only be a matter of time for him to reach level three immortal pill master if he had the immortal spirit herb. he might be able to reach that in a month if he had the herbs.

Seeing Ye Mo remain calm, Yi Teng respected him even more. he got up and bowed to Ye Mo “I came from the Black Lu forest wanting to ask pill master Feng for pill concoction. Every few months I would come over. Pill master Ye your skills are far superior than pill master Feng and your price is much lower than his. I’m thinking in the future…”

Ye Mo knew what he meant and quickly waved his hand “wait, I’m going to leave here soon so that probably won’t do.”

The female cultivator also bowed to Ye Mo “pill master Ye thank you for concocting two up hollow pills with such low price. I wanted to come to pill master Feng for pill concoction too but I can only get very little immortal spirit herb each year. I can only come for pill concoction every three to five years. I’m think if you go somewhere can you tell me and I will go find you…”

Ye Mo thought in the cultivation realm it was already very high price to take 50% for pill concoction but that pill master Feng wanted to take 75% from Yi Teng and add more immortal crystals. This price was absurd. If he stayed here for pill concoction he would become wealthy soon.

But immediately Ye Mo gave up on the thought. He didn’t dare to stay here for pill concoction and even if he did people would sooner or later smash his business. Pill master Feng can concoct pills here definitely because there was someone to back him up. Otherwise, he was only a mere hollow immortal tertiary stage, he wouldn’t be able to do this so freely here.

Realizing this, Ye Mo saluted with his fists “sorry I won’t stay here for pill concoction I’m really just passing by. As for where to go, I haven’t thought of it yet.”

Hearing this, Yi Teng got up and said genuinely “pill master Ye if you don’t have a good place to go you can come with me to black weed forest. It’s very big and there are countless immortal spirit herb and ores there. Many cultivators like me go there to find immortal spirit herb and leave for a while to find a pill master. With pill master Ye’s prowess if you go there you would have endless business.”

“yea, I came from there too. If Ye qian bei you go there many of my friends would come to you for pill concoction.” The female cultivator nodded.

Ye Mo asked in suspicion “you came all the way from Black Weed forest just for a cauldron of earth essence pills?”

Yi Teng said “I’ve been here for many days and I’ve already asked him to concoct a lot of pills for me but he asks too highly for this earth essence pill so I haven’t made up my mind yet. Then I met you pill master ye qian bei.”

Ye Mo waved his hand “just call me pill master Ye, don’t call me qian bei. My power is lower than yours.”

“yes pill master Ye.” Yi Teng changed immediately.

Ye Mo nodded “I heard that it costs tens of thousands of top grade immortal crystals to go to Black Weed forest from here. The pills you ask to get concocted isn’t even worth a small amount of the ticket right?”
