Strongest Abandoned Son

Ye Mo quite approved of Qian Wei to offer to stop the spirit devouring bugs. He had seen how powerful they were. The ones he annihilated in the ice god forbidden grounds were probably just one part.

After he annihilated the sand soul beasts, he had to reinforce the monks of JIn Gang temple.

Seeing nearly 100 million sand soul beasts die to Ye Mo’s purple sword rays and Ye Mo releasing countless lightning arcs, the Fusion Joy sect cultivators forgot to be amazed. They were scared. To them, Mo Yue City city lord’s power was indescribable. No wonder the Lightning Cloud Sect and Infinity Sect were annihilated, they chose such an opponent.

Half a day later, the countless sand soul beasts bodies had piled up to an endless mountain range. Ye Mo stood on top of the mountain range and sighed. Last time in the demon prison forbidden grounds, he would need more than half a day to kill this many sand soul beasts but today, he used less than half a day.

Clearly, his Illusion Cloud domain kill strike was getting more and more powerful.

By the time the cultivators reacted, they realized that all the sand soul beasts had been annihilated clean by the purple sword rays and lightning arcs.

The cultivators all cmae over and Ye Mo put away Zi Xu.

“Fusion Joy sect Yu Jiyong reet city lord Ye, thank you enduring the labor to come…”

Ye Mo waved his hand and stopped him “it’s nothing, Fusion Joy sect has been here for quite some years, do you know what place around here has dense yin chi…”

Ye Mo thougth for a while and couldn’t find a better way to describe it so he said “a place like the demon prison forbidden grounds that can birth evil spirits…”

sand soul beasts needed evil spirits to reproduce and grow quickly. Ye Mo guessed that they would be living in a place with dense yin chi.

Yu Jiyong didn’t expect Ye Mo to ask such a strange question and he dind’t know how to answer. He really didn’t know where had a lot of yin chi. Even if there was, there wouldn’t be evil spirits. Evil spirits were powerful enough to kill truth realisation state.

Yu Jiyong was very anxious. He didn’t know the first question that city lord Ye asked him. If he knew the answer, the city lord would have a great impression of him.

“I know.” At this moment, a voice helped him.

Ye Mo rejoiced. To be honest, he didn’t have much hope when asking. After all, even if there was a place with evil spirits the person wouldn’t be able to live to tell the story.

Du Xiuying got up and bowed “city lord Ye, I know that place.”

Such a beautiful female cultivator, Ye Mo was surprised to see that she was not only beautiful but also talented. She was no older than Luo Ying but was hollow spirit state level four.

However Ye Mo was strange to see that she dind’t have a storage ring and only had a storage bag on her. The Fusion Joy sect couldn’t be this poor.

When he saw that nascent soul state and even golden core state cultivators had storage ring, he knew she was a special case.

Yu Jiyong rejoiced hearing her words and just wanted to say something but Du Xiuying walked up to him and bowed “Xiuying thank city lord for taking me in. although I’m not a sect members of Fusion Joy sect anymore I’m very grateful for the sect’s teachings and resources.”

Yu Jiyong didn’t feel too happy, he just wanted to say she was his core sect members.

“you’re Du Xiuying? One of South Peace State ten beauties?” Ye Mo thought no wonder she was so beautiful but it seemed she had left the sect.

Du Xiuying immediately answered in joy “yes city lord Ye.”

Yu Jiyong saw there was nothing he could suck up to Ye Mo with so he said “that’s right, city lord Ye. Xiuying has been our sect members. She thought she would certainly die to the sand soul beasts attacks so she left the sect but now that they have retreated, she can come back at anytime.”

Du Xiuying didn’t dare to argue back. Everyone knew she didn’t want to go back but the sect leader said this. she didn’t dare to say she wanted to leave the sect in from of city lord Ye or he might feel extremely disgusted to her. But if she stayed, she wouldn’t have the same treatment as before. she might even fall to the status of an outer sect members.

In the sect, the outer sect members had to dual cultivate with inner sect members if they wanted. She was waiting for Ye Mo to get her to lead the way. If she left, she would never come back.

Ye Mo sneered, he wouldn’t care about this but this sect leader thought of him as an idiot. This made him very unhappy. How could he not understand what was going on.

She wasn’t an idiot, why would she choose to leave the sect before she died? If Yu Jiyong didn’t do that he wouldn’t be bothered saying anything and would at most let her lead the way.

But now, this made Ye Mo furious. How dare Yu Jiyong use him.

Ye Mo said calmly “since you’re not a Fusio Joy sect members you can come with me.”

“yes.” There was joy in her eyes, she could tell Ye Mo was helping her and immediately walked out without hesitation.

Hearing Ye Mo’s tone go cold, Yu Jiyong was scared sweating. He really didn’t want to use Ye Mo but now, he realized how stupid his actions were. He wanted to apologise but Ye Mo couldn’t be bothered seeing him and just left with Du Xiuying in Blue Moon.

“thank you city lord Ye.” Du Xiuying wans’t dumb.

Ye Mo waved his hand “no need, tell me where the place with evil spirits are.”

Du Xiuying nodded “I’m not certain if that is the place city lord Ye is looking for but it indeed has heavy yin chi and I don’t dare to go in at all.”

“tell me about the exact situation. I’ll go in and check.” Ye Mo said.

Du Xiuying said “I was only 13 at the time and my parents were hunted by enemies and they all died at the Ci mountain. Just when I was about to be raped and killed, my adoptive father suddenly charged out from the icy river.”

“I didn’t know him at the time but seeing that they were about to rape a 13 year old girl he was furious. He killed that person but he hadn’t cultivated immortal cultivation before. he cultivated ancient martial arts. The person he killed was chi gathering level four. He killed him and helped me bury my parents. When he took me away, he was injured by the yin chi and had never recovered. He died a year later.”

Ye Mo nodded “are you going to take me to the place your adoptive father was injured?”

“yes.” Du Xiuying immediately answered “after he was injured by the yin chi, he didn’t have the strength to take me away. I was very young but I knew it wasn’t a place to stay so I carried him away. but I was too young and couldn’t go very far. At this moment, the enemies came again and just when we were about to be killed I was saved by my master. My master took us to the sect but even my master couldn’t cure my adoptive father.”

“your adoptive father died a year later?” Ye Mo noticed something wrong and asked.

Du Xiuying nodded “yes, but adoptive father called my master in before he died. He told my master to burn him instantly with inner fire. My master agreed.”

Ye Mo breathed easy and nodded “your adoptive father is a very great man.”

“why are you fine since you went there too” Ye Mo looked at her in confusion.
