Strongest Abandoned Son

Although Tang Beiwei didn’t really know why she felt uneasy, but ever since she started cultivating, she had gotten this sense of what might happen in the near future.

She carefully sent her spirit sense out and saw a food delivery man. She sighed of relief - was she being too careful?

Just when she was about to open the door, she noticed that the man had a gun. She realized that she was being too careless. Tang Beiwei took out a fireball charm. If the person charged inside, she would throw it.

Although she was at stage 2 now, she didn’t know any moves except fireballs and wind control.

But just then Tang Beiwei saw that the man picked up a call, turned around and left. He disappeared quickly.

After the man left, Tang Beiwei bought a phone and called Ye Mo.

…

In a coffee shop, Ye Mo heard Luo Ying’s story and realized that these people were either from the Black Sun Empire or Northern Sand.

”Let me call Beiwei.” As soon as Ye Mo grabbed the phone, Beiwei called.

Knowing that she was fine, Ye Mo felt relieved.

”Beiwei, although I don’t know why they suddenly backed out, you still need to be careful. How about I come back and take you to Beijing as well?”

Tang Beiwei knew that Luo Ying had found her brother and felt relieved. She didn’t want to be the third wheel in Beijing, so she reassured him, ”Brother, I’m fine. I have spirit sense now and I can use wind control and fireballs. I still have plenty of fireball charms, so no one can do anything to me, don’t worry.”

Ye Mo thought for a bit and agreed. Although she was only stage 2, she was a dao cultivator. It would be hard for a black level early stage martial artist to keep up with her. Although she couldn’t beat them, she could run away.

Then, Ye Mo got up and said to Luo Ying, ”Let’s go visit an old man and earn some money. Then, we’ll go to Ning Hai and take Beiwei to Luo Yue. ”

Luo Ying agreed.

Although Ye Mo didn’t mention again the people who had tricked Luo Ying into the plane to Beijing, he had made up his mind that he would annihilate them before he went to the small world.

Now that he had finished his business and he was with Luo Ying, he didn’t need to keep the mask on. He washed everything off in the toilet. Ye Mo knew that those people had probably guessed who he was, but so what?

…

When Ye Mo and Luo Ying went to Han Zaixin’s place, it was already afternoon.

Ye Mo mainly came for the ores, but he also wanted to see Li Hu and Zhang Jue - they were quite close. Although he had helped them, they also helped him before too.

When he faced the Song family or when he needed them to protect Ye Ling and Ye Zifeng, they had helped a lot.

Knowing that Ye Mo was coming, Han Zaixin came out to greet him the moment he stepped in. When he saw Luo Ying, he couldn’t help to approve of Ye Mo’s taste. Both Ning Qingxue and Luo Ying were much prettier than Han Yan.

”Elder Han, call Li Hu and Zhang Jue over to eat as well. I haven’t seen them for a long time,” Ye Mo asked.

Han Zaixin sighed, ”I called you over this time because of them.”

Ye Mo frowned, ”What’s this?”

Han Zaixin hesitated before saying, ”Last time we talked I already told you about the Space Flower blueprint’s issue. Even if we can’t get it, we can’t let other countries have it. So, when news of it got out, some countries sent their masters to retrieve it and so did we.”

Ye Mo was speechless. ”Even Li Hu and Zhang Jue went?”

Han Zaixin nodded, ”Not only them. The country has also sent eight other people. Ten elites went, but it’s been a few months and there’s still no news from them. I’m very worried.”

”So, you called me so many times to get me to help you see what’s going on?” Ye Mo wasn’t feeling comfortable. Li Hu and Zhang Jue were his friends, and he had told Han Zaixin many times that it was useless, even if they got the blueprint. However, he had still sent people to die.

If Li Hu and the others were fighting against Northern Sand, how could they win? Ever since they had developed the light-speed gun, not even he could ensure a clear victory.

Han Zaixin looked guilty but still nodded, ”Yes, I realized that no one but you can help. I know Luo Yue is yours and you’re busier than me, but I really have no other way. I can’t afford to lose the Ten Flying Snow’s elite members nor the blueprint. I won’t blame you, even if you don’t want to help, but I need to do everything I can despite knowing that they might not be alive.”

Then, Han Zaixin paused and said, ”Don’t worry about Luo Yue, I never told anyone about it.”

Hearing this, Ye Mo felt a bit more comfortable.

Ye Mo’s expression relaxed and asked, ”Doesn’t Beijing have a Heaven Squad? Why don’t you ask them?”

Han Zaixin smiled bitterly, ”Ever since you fought with Tan Jiao, he went into solitary training. After the hidden sects tournament, Tan Jiao and Luan Qingfeng disappeared together. Tan Jiao’s disciple Xu Shi also disappeared, and even Song Yangzhu is gone. After that, we rarely see anyone from the hidden sects. They almost never come out and they haven’t asked us again to give them ores. I don’t know if this is good or bad. The president knows that I came to you for help and he agreed that only you can help us.”

Ye Mo hadn’t expected that Tan Jiao and Luan Qingfeng would disappear. When he heard of Song Yangzhu, he immediately remembered what happened in the tent at Mei Nei Snow Mountains - how she was so wild and clutched him so tightly, as though she was trying to squeeze herself into him. He got lost in his thoughts wondering if that woman was okay.

”Ye Mo,” Luo Ying called him. She could feel something wasn’t right with Ye Mo and grabbed his hand.

Ye Mo held her hand tightly too and cast those thoughts aside. No matter what, he already had Luo Ying and Qingxue.

After a while, Ye Mo patted Luo Ying’s hand and said to Han Zaixin, ”Elder Han, Zhang Jue and Li Hu are my friends, I will go have a look. And I’ll say this one last time: even if you found it, the space flower blueprint is useless to you. If you don’t believe me, there’s nothing I can do about it.”

”I know, but if things were to happen again, I would have still gone for it. Some things you can’t just let go because you don’t want to, and this time, it’s not just about the Space Flower,” Han Zaixin sighed.

”Let’s not talk about this now. What intel did you get and what exactly is going on?” Ye Mo asked.

Han Zaixin nodded and said, ”Do you know the Ice Helm Island?”

Ye Mo shook his head.

Han Zaixin continued, ”It’s in the Atlantic Ocean, it’s not very big, about few 1000 square kilometers. This island is surrounded by glaciers.

If it wasn’t for something that happened a few months ago, no one would have known that there were people there. A bunch of crazy people.”
