THE VILLAIN'S POV

Chapter 840  Nameless vs Agaroth (1)

The opponent… was the Demon King.

Agaroth.

The monster who had never known defeat—not even once.

Against him stood Nameless.

The only one who had ever come close to bringing him down.

On a distant moon, far beyond the reach of Earth, the two walked slowly side by side.

Agaroth had grown far stronger.

His level had risen significantly since their last battle.

Nameless, on the other hand, entered this fight incomplete.

His armor was gone. His greatest weapon was gone.

Of his entire arsenal of black weapons… only the Shadow Bolt spear remained.

Perhaps the Absolute Manipulator was his only true gain now.

Namelessʼ void-like eyes flickered faintly.

Thousands of pathways extended from them, threads of violet fate branching into countless distant futures.

Yet despite their number… every single one led to the same end.

Defeat.

Nothing but defeat.

Agaroth was absolute.

Overwhelming.

His darkness devoured every path, bending them… until they all led exactly where he wished.

ʼI never understood where his power comes from… or how he can do something like this.ʼ

Nameless fused world-breaking abilities with flawless ease.

With a control that rivaled—perhaps even surpassed—the Demon King himself.

He formed a single blade in his right hand.

A gray, dark sword… blending both shades seamlessly.

Behind him, ten more blades hovered, each carrying the same level of power.

In his left hand, the Shadow Bolt spear materialized once more.

ʼIʼm certain… even my complete self never understood him.ʼ

ʼBut I donʼt need to understand him… to stop him.ʼ

Namelessʼ aura calmed.

It shrank… compressed… froze in an unnatural way.

Until it became perfectly still.

Agaroth showed interest.

A smile formed on his face.

”I see your aura control is still as unique as ever.”

That stillness—free of ripples, free of flaws—

Was something that had always fascinated him.

Something he could never replicate.

ʼI possess nearly infinite aura… and yet, despite him having less than five percent of what I hold… I would be the one to exhaust first.ʼ

Agarothʼs smile widened.

”Come. Whenever youʼre ready.”

As if he had been waiting for those words ...

Nameless moved.

He had only one chance.

The simple truth that the King could not allow this battle to become a fight to the death.

Which meant—

He would hold back.

And Nameless saw that as his opening.

The masked warrior activated everything.

Every ability, pushed to its absolute limit.

Including The Pursuer—still driving him forward, still pushing him deeper within the final phase of SSS.

At this level… there was no ceiling anymore.

As long as he could grow stronger—

There would be no limits.

Nameless struck.

Agaroth blocked with his arm.

The King summoned a flame—red and black, a fusion of two world-breaking abilities—and unleashed it toward him.

But the flame was cut apart into dozens of fragments.

Dispersed instantly.

It didnʼt even slow Nameless for a single moment.

He thrust with the Shadow Bolt spear.

Black lightning erupted violently, pressing down on Agaroth, who caught the spear with his bare hand.

In that instant—

Nameless released the spear.

He drew another blade.

And struck with both swords, aiming for Agarothʼs neck.

Shadow wrapped around the King immediately, shielding him.

The attack was stopped.

For a single second.

Then Nameless tore through it.

Agarothʼs shadow spread across the entire moon.

Hundreds of thousands of dark tendrils rose, their sharpened tips targeting the masked warrior from every direction.

They slithered toward him like enraged serpents.

Nameless didnʼt even bother turning.

From nothingness ...

A rain of massive violet blades descended like meteors.

They pierced through the tendrils with absolute precision, pinning them to the surface.

At the same moment, Nameless struck again.

But an invisible force repelled him.

A pressure like gravity—overwhelming in magnitude.

So intense that the entire moon trembled beneath it.

Hundreds of times stronger than Earthʼs own.

Agaroth had used it to push him back.

Yet Nameless formed a violet mist around himself.

It isolated him completely from the force.

And in the next moment—

He stood before him again.

Agaroth drew two long black rods from his hands.

He wielded them like greatswords.

And attacked.

The battle shifted.

It became a duel.

At close range.

The two carved into each other without mercy.

Every strike carried enough power to erase anything in its path.

The Demon King was a complete warrior.

His skill with the blade was flawless—arguably among the greatest in all of history.

And yet—

Against Nameless…

He was forced to retreat.

Agaroth attacked from every direction.

He poured immense amounts of aura into his weapons.

His blades were vastly superior to those Nameless had formed.

The darkness surged.

It dominated everything.

Nameless became like a faint gray lantern, flickering within an ocean of darkness.

It was like trying to stop a meteor… with a simple iron sword.

But The sword stopped it.

Every time their blades clashed, Agarothʼs weapon rebounded in a way he had never seen before.

Except once.

From Nameless himself.

ʼHow is he doing that?ʼ

The King wondered.

Even his transcendent vision could not comprehend it.

If Namelessʼ weapon carried a power of one hundred—

Then Agarothʼs exceeded a thousand.

The difference was overwhelming.

Yet the weaker force repelled the stronger.

The two exchanged dozens of strikes in an instant.

Then hundreds.

Then thousands.

And it continued to rise.

Until the number reached something beyond comprehension.

Hundreds of thousands of strikes, unleashed within a fraction of time—each one from the King alone was enough to shatter Namelessʼ weapon… and more than enough to cut him down entirely.

That meant Nameless had been exposed to death hundreds of thousands of times in mere seconds.

A single mistake would be enough ... just one to inflict damage his body could never recover from, for the King had fused multiple world-breaking abilities into his weapons, rendering regeneration impossible.

The masked warrior fought on the edge of a blade.

He survived by a hairʼs breadth… again and again.

And unlike Agaroth, Namelessʼ weapon found its way through.

It pierced him.

It struck the Kingʼs body multiple times—wounding him, forcing him to bleed… though what flowed from him was not blood, but something else entirely, something Nameless could not identify.

Seeing himself being outmatched in close combat, Agarothʼs smile widened further.

ʼLetʼs tighten the noose.ʼ

His body flared with power, and space itself trembled in response.

In less than a second, astronomical numbers of strange celestial bodies formed around them.

Each cluster carried power drawn from different world-breaking abilities.

Some burned with black fire, others with dark orange flames, others with blood-red intensity.

There were masses of blood, ice, water, molten darkness… and forms of energy and aura never before witnessed.

The amount of aura released was overwhelming.

Perhaps the greatest output since the birth of the material world itself.

Agaroth moved—

And his body split.

Using the Soul of Reincarnation, countless copies of him manifested around Nameless, surrounding him completely.

There were at least several hundred.

Each one carried enough power to shake the heavens.

”These copies cannot fuse world-breaking abilities,” the King said calmly.

”But I can override the limitation… and make each one equal to me at one hundred percent.”

The celestial bodies.

The copies.

And Agaroth himself.

All descended upon Nameless from every direction… from everywhere at once.

The King imposed a powerful restriction over space and time.

Even instantaneous movement was sealed.

There was no escape.

Fight—

Or die.

Agarothʼs laughter thundered, deep and terrifying, like a storm breaking across the void.

”Letʼs see how long you last this time!”

Celestial bodies, each unleashing world-breaking abilities.

Copies with the same durability as the King.

And the King himself, capable of fusing an unlimited number of world-breaking abilities.

It would not be an exaggeration to say ...

No being in the material world could survive such an assault.

And yet…

Nameless had no choice but to face it.

His void eyes saw everything.

Every possibility. Every trajectory. Every incoming strike.

And from the sheer volume of information… a violent headache surged through him, his mind flooded all at once.

He closed his eyes.

His body glowed faintly.

That same still aura returned.

”Kingʼs Domain.”
