School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 1225: Chapter 1311: He Comes from the Eastern Martial World

”You dead rogue bastard, stand still, you’re not allowed in, if you don’t stop, you’re dead!”

Yue Ye stomped her foot and shouted from behind, but Chen Nan acted as if he hadn’t heard her, speeding up as he rushed into the Demon Mansion, searching around and completely ignoring her.

Chen Nan searched every corner of the Demon Mansion but found nothing, which only infuriated Yue Ye further, making her want to claw at him. Chen Nan had no choice but to dodge her with his speed, and then ran out of the mansion.

”Hmph, next time I will definitely not let you off!”

Glaring at the door, Yue Ye stomped her foot harshly, slamming the Demon Mansion’s door shut.

Yao Ye, dressed in blue, walked out from the depths of the Demon Mansion, smiling, ”You silly girl, knowing you can’t stop him, why waste such effort?”

Yue Ye clenched her fists angrily, ”That dead rogue makes me angry just by seeing him.”

Yao Ye shook her head with a bitter smile, and turned to walk towards the nearby pavilion.

Yue Ye quickly followed and asked, ”Sister, when on earth will you agree to meet him? That annoying rogue comes twice a day, it’s really too much.”

Yao Ye calculated with her fingers, then shook her head and said with a smile, ”If he leaves Xuanwu City on his own, naturally it’s good; if not, when the time is right, it won’t be a problem for me to meet him.”

”What exactly are you waiting for?” Yue Ye asked.

Yao Ye pondered for a moment and said, ”He will face a calamity, and most people related to him will be implicated. His fate clashes with mine, and if I get involved with him even slightly before the calamity, I fear my life will be in danger.”

Yue Ye was surprised and asked, ”What kind of calamity is this? Can’t even you resolve it?”

Yao Ye pondered for a moment and continued, ”This is a calamity sent down by the heavens, no one can resolve it. Actually, he is not from our world. Long before in his own world, he thought the calamity was over, but little did he know, it is just beginning.”

Yue Ye exclaimed in surprise, ”He... he’s not from this world? Then where did he come from?”

Yao Ye pondered for a long time, then sighed and said, ”The Red Dust World consists of four extremes: Eastern Martial World, Southern Taoist World, North Pole Demon World, and West Pole Magic Realm. He is from the Eastern Martial World.”

”Then how did he come here, can we go to the Martial World too?” Yue Ye asked with hope in her eyes.

Yao Ye shook her head, ”You should go practice your cultivation; he won’t come before dark.”

Yue Ye knew she was unwilling to say more, stuck out her tongue, and walked away.

...

Just like yesterday, Chen Nan went outside the city to find a quiet place to practice his cultivation.

When it was almost dark, he finished and returned to Xuanwu City, making another trip to the Demon Mansion, but still couldn’t meet Yao Ye.

”I wonder how long she’ll be away; waiting like this isn’t solving anything,” Chen Nan thought silently to himself, returning to the inn. When he went back to his room, he found someone inside. He thought it was a thief, but when he opened the door, he realized it was someone he knew.

Chen Nan walked in, ”Didn’t I tell you to leave after drinking the porridge this morning? Why haven’t you gone?”

”I did leave, but then I came back.” The girl looked at Chen Nan innocently, then pulled out a thick book and placed it on the table saying, ”Look what I’ve brought you.”

Chen Nan said, ”I told you to leave, not to bring things back.”

The girl looked at him with a face full of grievance and said while holding the book, ”This is a comprehensive text collection. I just want to teach you to read. Your cultivation is high, but if you don’t know the words, you’ll easily be at a disadvantage.”

Chen Nan walked towards the window, turning his back to her, ”I rescued you as a simple act, there’s no need for you to be so good to me.”

”It’s important to repay kindness,” the girl quickly followed him and said, ”To you, this may not be much, but without your simple act, I wouldn’t be alive now.”

The girl’s good nature made Chen Nan truly willing to befriend her.

However, considering his purpose in this trip to the Tao Realm, it was difficult to have any entanglements, so he took a deep breath and said, ”Don’t you find yourself annoying? We’ve only known each other for two or three days, there’s no friendship, let alone friends. From now on, don’t bother me again, OK?”

”What does OK mean?”

The girl forced a smile; she didn’t understand English but from his earlier words, she knew Chen Nan was asking her to leave.

Coming to the table, the girl opened the book and said, ”I don’t like owing favors, once I’ve taught you to read and repaid your life-saving grace, I’ll naturally leave and won’t bother you anymore. Besides, you don’t know the words; even if you reach Tian Han Mountain, you probably won’t recognize the mountain’s name.”

Chen Nan was silent for a while and agreed to her.

Not knowing the characters of the Tao Realm indeed caused some trouble in his search for Tian Han Mountain.

And, since he’ll be in Xuanwu City for a while, waiting for Yao Ye to return to inquire about the Tian Han Mountain’s location, he might as well learn the Tao Realm’s characters, which will help in finding Tian Han Mountain.

”Benefactor, before teaching you to read, can you make me a bowl of porridge? Your porridge is so delicious,” the girl looked at Chen Nan expectantly.

Chen Nan furrowed his brow slightly.

Seeing the girl’s expectant look, he couldn’t help but remember the scene at home when his wives asked him to cook.

The girl thought he was unwilling, and quickly said, ”I’m only not fully recovered, and found your porridge quite effective, so I wanted to have another bowl. If you don’t want to, then just pretend I didn’t say anything.”

After saying that, she lowered her head with a bitter face, but secretly glanced at Chen Nan.

”Wait a moment.”

Chen Nan stood up and left the room, heading towards the inn’s kitchen.

The girl secretly went to the door, watching Chen Nan’s back, her face broke into an excited smile, muttering, ”Knife-mouth, tofu-heart.”

Not long after, Chen Nan returned to the room with the porridge.

After the girl happily finished the porridge, she took the book and began to teach Chen Nan.

Watching her seriously explaining, Chen Nan couldn’t help but remember Huo Xinya, when she used to teach him English, the image was so similar. And when the girl picked up a brush to write, he remembered the days of practicing writing with his junior sister.

Scenes of familiarity flashed before his eyes.

”Benefactor, are you okay?”

Seeing Chen Nan staring at her without blinking, the girl’s face slightly reddened, and she secretly wondered why he kept staring at her.

”I’m fine, continue.”

Chen Nan snapped out of it, trying not to think too much.

Compared to the girl’s blush of shyness, he was much thicker-skinned, being from an open modern society, accustomed to such scenes long before.
