Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

For the last time, Fung Meng Xuan turned around and smiled at the woman. It was not a normal smile, but a taunting one.

When the woman saw the smile, she knew that Fung Meng Xuan was playing her. She became agitated again and wanted to grab Fung Meng Xuan. She shouted the ’B’ word multiple times.

The villagers got hold of the woman. They were confused as to why the woman suddenly became angry again. They told Fung Meng Xuan and her classmates to leave immediately.

Fung Meng Xuan knew she was at least free from the family. She did not have to return to that house anymore. She also did not have to get married to an unstable, mentally ill person.

Fung Meng Xuan did not worry about the money and place to live because the school promised to take care of those matters. The school tried to find Fung Meng Xuan’s biological family according to Fung Meng Xuan’s description, but to no avail.

Fung Meng Xuan was disappointed at the time. It seemed her family did not want her to find them. She poured everything into her study. She managed to get into her dream high school and obtained a scholarship. She finally managed to leave the remote area. It was a smooth sail after that until the examination.

Fung Meng Xuan walked out of the room that she rented early in the morning. She did not realise that she had been followed by someone. She passed the remote area. Then, she lost consciousness. Before she fully closed her eyes, she saw a familiar face. It was the man who had been taking care of her a few years ago. When she opened her eyes again, she was greeted by the man who had been smiling at her.

The man greeted her like nothing had happened, but his eyes showed something else. He told her about his experience in prison. Because of Fung Meng Xuan, he had been sent to prison for 5 years. However, because good behaviour, he had been released earlier.

Honestly, Fung Meng Xuan forgot about this man. She heard about him being sent to prison for 5 years. She was relieved at that time. She calculated the time when the man got released. At that time, she probably became a university student. So, she did not expect the man would be released only after 3 years.

Fung Meng Xuan calmed down and asked what the man wanted from her. The man smiled. He told Fung Meng Xuan that he wanted to ruin her life. He knew when to strike Fung Meng Xuan. He knew that Fung Meng Xuan valued her education and wanted to escape her current life. So, he chose this moment. He wanted Fung Meng Xuan to skip the exam. He told Fung Meng Xuan that he did not want his life.

Fung Meng Xuan tried to reason with the man by telling him that, since he was out that he should go and see his family. He should not waste his time here.

Hearing Fung Meng Xuan mention his family, his rage flared up. He came over and gave Fung Meng Xuan a slap. The force that he used was quite strong. Fung Meng Xuan’s face turned to the right. Her left ear was buzzing.

The man pointed at Fung Meng Xuan, cursing Fung Meng Xuan. Because of her, his wife left their son alone. She could not afford to take care of their son anymore. So, the unstable, mentally ill son was starving until he was found by the villagers around the mountain.

A villager was searching for the wild boar at that moment. He found the son’s body already cold, showing that the son had died for a couple of hours. It was lucky that the animal did not come and eat the body. The villagers returned to the village and told everything. They took the body back. Since there was no one to take care of the body, they just cremated the body. They just spread the ash into the river.

When the man learned about this matter, he fainted. When he woke up, he cried for days. He lost his hope to live anymore. Even though his son was mentally unstable, that son was his only bloodline in this world. Due to an accident, he could not have children anymore.

He regretted everything. He remembered something. It was that bitch’s fault. He regretted taking in Fung Meng Xuan. If not because of her, everything would never have happened. Because of that, he bore hatred for Fung Meng Xuan. He swore that he would take revenge on Fung Meng Xuan. It led to him kidnap Fung Meng Xuan.

Fung Meng Xuan could not understand that. That was not her fault. It was his wife’s fault for leaving their son just like that. She tried to say that. However, the men had already set on making it was Fung Meng Xuan’s fault.

Fung Meng Xuan was hoping that someone would realise that she was missing and report it to the police. In the meantime, Fung Meng Xuan looked around to look for something that she could use to cut the rope that tied her hands and legs.

The man was discreet. He cleared everything that Fung Meng Xuan could use. The surroundings became dark, showing the day had ended. Fung Meng Xuan was hungry and thirsty.
