Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

The lunch was very pleasant, especially to Great Grandpa Dian. He finally saw this great-granddaughter that he just knew her existence for an hour ago.

”Yu Qi, I want you to acknowledge your ancestor.” Great-Grandpa Dian said.

”Grandfather.” Dian Ling Shi protested.

”Grandfather, we need to investigate this matter very carefully.” Dian Jung Gi also voiced his opinion.

”That’s right, Great-Grandpa Dian. You must investigate this matter carefully. What if my late grandma is not your daughter? It will be terrible.” Yu Qi said.

Both Dian Ling Shi and Dian Jung Gi were surprised to hear Yu Qi support their opinion. This girl probably did not know about their family. That was why she said something like that. If she knew that, she would rush to acknowledge her ancestor.

Both of them seemed to forget that that girl was the legendary doctor’s granddaughter. There was no need for her to do such a thing.

”Okay.” Great-Grandpa Dian could just give up his idea for now.

”Sister Yu Qi, when will you go back to Binhai Nation?” Dian Qi Qi said.

”Why do you want to go such a far place?” Great-Grandpa Dian asked.

”Great-Grandfather, I come from that place. I am only here because of work.” Yu Qi answered.

”What? How come...” Great-Grandpa Dian was surprised when he heard about that.

”It is true. I have grown up in Binhai Nation.” Yu Qi nodded.

”No wonder I have never seen you before.” Great-Grandpa Dian sighed. Then he suggested. ”How about you stay here for a few days?”

”I don’t think that it is a good idea. My grandfather will be worried about me.” Yu Qi wanted to reject.

It was because the two men were staring at her consciously. It was not comfortable.

”Sister Yu Qi, you can discuss with it your grandfather since he is also here.” Dian Qi Qi was excited to have Yu Qi slept over together with her.

”Your grandfather is also here. Good. Let me see him. I want to know the man who has married to my daughter.” Great-Grandpa Dian said.

Yu Qi was silent. She actually did not want to tell them her story. But she did not want her grandfather to get mistaken with this.

”No... He has not married to my late grandmother.” Yu Qi said.

”Oh, you mean she is your maternal grandmother?” Dian Qi Qi asked.

”No... She is my paternal grandmother... but....” Then she sighed. ”The grandfather that you have met earlier is my adopted grandfather. I have been adopted into the family when I was 17 years old.” She began to tell her story.

”What?” Everyone was shocked after hearing that.

”Where are your parents?” Dian Qi Qi asked.

”I don’t know. I heard from the orphanage that I was left behind at the gate at their orphanage before being adopted by a family. My life is a little hard with the old family.” Yu Qi continued.

”What? Grandpa Tang did not do anything to help you?” Dian Qi Qi could not believe that such a good old man would let Sister Yu Qi suffer like that.

”You are wrong. The family that I first being adopted from was not my current family. Grandpa Tang is the one who took me away from my previous adopted family.” Yu Qi corrected Dian Qi Qi.

”But I do recognise my biological grandfather recently. He is Fanghai Nation’s people. He is the one who got married to my late grandmother, Dian Yi Yi.” Yu Qi continued her story.

”Who is he? Can I meet with him?” Great-Grandpa Dian asked.

”I am not sure if he can meet you or not since he is pretty busy himself. His name is Mu Guang Qi.” Yu Qi said.

Great-Grandpa Dian and Dian Qi Qi did not react much when hearing the name but both Dian Ling Shi and Dian Jung Gi looked at each other in shock.

They knew the name. It was a big name in the business world in Fanghai Nation. This girl was his granddaughter? Even though their family was okay in finance but still they could not defeat the king.  If the girl did not target them for money, then she might target for something else, they began to worry more.

”Then, you should know where are your parents right now?” Dian Qi qi asked.

”According to my biological grandfather, they ran away after he disapproved them to be together. Until now, there is no news about them.” Yu Qi was also frustrated about it.

”Sister Yu Qi, your life is miserable.” Dian Qi Qi was sad for Yu Qi. ”But now, you have us.”

”It is not confirmed that I am actually related to your family.” Yu Qi smiled.

Well, deep in her heart, she was confident that they were indeed related to each other. But both Dian Ling Shi and Dong Jung Gi were not so confident about that.

They were very wary about her. It must be something related to their family. The family did not seem to be normal at all. The situation in the house, the labyrinth-like path, and the disconnection with the normal line telephone.

”Okay. I will investigate it. Can you come over tomorrow as well?” Great-Grandpa Dian knew that both of his grandsons would help him to investigate the matter. But still, he wanted to see the girl since she had his daughter’s face.

”I have already promised Xiao Qi that I will accompany her.” Yu Qi said.

”Sister Yu Qi, we can accompany Great-Grandfather together.” Dian Qi Qi did not mind it.
