Chapter 868: Preparation Before the Engagement Party Part One

”How is the investigation going?” Long Hui asked Major Captain Yuan.

”Colonel Long... Indeed, as Miss Tang has said, two additional men have followed the staff who had inspected the plane.” Major Captain Yuan showed the list of names of the staff.

They went to the monitor where the CCTV video was being played.

”We have watched the video multiple times and found these two are suspicious.” Major Captain Yuan pointed and circled the two men that he found suspicious.

Long Hui narrowed his eyes when he looked at the two suspicious men. ”Have you gotten their information?”

”Unfortunately, no, Sir. There is no information about these two men. Apparently, they were wearing masks. The mask was very close to the human skin.” Major Captain Yuan explained.

Long Hui did not want to give up. ”How about the fragments of the bomb?”

”We have already investigated them and found nothing. No fingerprint or anything. And we found out that the bomb is custom made.” Major Captain Yuan read the report that they had done.

Long Hui sighed. ”So, the clues stopped there.”

Major Captain Yuan and others around Long Hui could feel the tension in the atmosphere.

”Continue to investigate. The public needs some news about this. Make a report, as we have already found the reason and close the case on the surface.” Long Hui said.

Major Captain Yuan took a deep breath after hearing the words from Long Hui. Indeed, the public needed to be informed about this. Some of the reporters had also been spotted lingering in the area. They needed to be distracted by concluding the incident.

And the culprit behind the incident also would be happy since they thought no one could find their tracks. It would be a lot of space for the military to investigate the incident.

  ....

Yu Qi returned home after jogging in the morning. Aoi and Shino were happy since they could walk around the neighbourhood. She returned home and walked into the dining room for breakfast.

In the dining room, all the members except Tang Qin Hao were there. Yu Qi greeted them.

”Good morning everyone.”

”Good morning.” They replied.

Aoi followed the maid with Shino resting on his back to the kitchen. The maid would give them the food.

”Four of you, remember to bring back Qin Hao tonight. Whatever it takes.” Ming Yue said when they were eating.

”Yes.” The men answered at the same time.

They could not protest the words from the queen.

”I have looked at his schedule. He doesn’t have an appointment with the patient or surgery.” Tang Jang Qin said.

”Good. It is a lifetime event for his sister. As for him, I am really worried about him.” Su Xiao sighed.

”Don’t worry too much. He knows what he is doing.” Tang Jang Qin advised his wife.

Tang Qin Hao was his son. Of course, he was also worried about him. But still, he could not do much since his son had already grown up and had his own career.

The only thing, he could do was talk to him someday, advise him to take care of his body since he knew that his son was a workaholic.

”As for you, Yu Qi, we have a lot of things to prepare.” Ming Yue said.

”A lot of things?” Yu Qi did not understand.

”Of course... A lot of things need to be prepared.” Su Xiao smiled.

”Don’t worry. Just leave it to us. You just need to follow our lead.” Ming Yue also smiled.

  Yu Qi: ”...”

Tang Jin Wei looked at Yu Qi. ”I hope you will survive until your party.”

  Yu Qi: ”...” again.

”What are you talking about? Don’t jinx your sister.” Ming Yue glared at Tang Jin Wei.

Tang Jin Wei kept his mouth shut after that and ate quietly.

”As for Aoi and Shino, they will be staying home today.” Su Xiao remembered about Yu Qi’s pets since those two really like to follow their owner everywhere.

  ”Okay.” Yu Qi nodded.

  …

After following her aunties around, she understood what Tang Jin Wei meant by his statement this morning. It was seriously tiring for Yu Qi. She never thought that the engagement party preparation would be tiring too much. Not the preparation for the venue but for herself.

Both of her aunties had already booked a ’Bride Package’ full body massage. The duration of the massage was five hours. Yeah, 5 freaking hours. Yu Qi felt she could do a lot of things within five hours.

Of course, they went to the History Spa for the massage. This time, Yung Ha Ren led the massage, massaging Yu Qi.

Yu Qi could tell the Yung Ha Ren technique was very very good. From the head, face, ear, neck... Well, the entire body had Yung Ha Ren’s touch.

It was so good that Yu Qi managed to fall asleep several times. After a full body massage, her aunties pulled her to the sauna room to relax. Spending one hour in the sauna room, they were heading to the shower afterwards.

Yu Qi finished it first and was waiting for her aunties to come out.

While waiting for her aunties, she took some time to go through her emails. She could not manage to go through the email today because of her aunt’s plan.

The email usually contained messages from her work, emails from her employees especially Su Yu Hi and Ming Xuehai.

All the businesses under her name today had been closed. YQ Investment, YQ Greenhouse, Saisei Ryokan and Qiaosu Entertainment had one day off today. Even the stores which sold Qi Qi Skincare products had closed their store for today.
