Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

For the next day, Yu Qi went to the ryokan. Chui Mei Fung welcomed their big boss. Chui Mei Fung reported everything happened in the ryokan. Seeing the report, Yu Qi only could smile. Her ryokan was doing so well. Under Chui Mei Fung management, she did not worry at all.

”Sister Mei Fung, I will give you three days holiday.” Yu Qi said to Chui Mei Fung.

Chui Mei Fung stunned. She did not expect that her big boss would give her a break. However, when she thought about the ryokan, she felt that she did not need a break.

”Miss Yu Qi, I don’t think I need a break.” Chui Mei Fung said.

”Why?” Yu Qi asked. Why was she did not want to take a break?

”I feel restless if I don’t work.” Chui Mei Fung could not think the right reason.

”Is that so? Then, this is my order to you. Sister Mei Fung, you will take a week break. You can do something to entertain yourself.” Since Chui Mei Fung did not want to do it, Yu Qi would order her.

Chui Mei Fung laughed. Normally, other employers would be delighted when their employees did not take days off. Her boss was a really unusual boss.

”Okay, Miss Yu Qi.” Chui Mei Fung did not have a choice but to follow her boss’s order. ”But what should I do?”

Chui Mei Fung could not think what should she do during the days off. Since she signed the contract with Yu Qi, she devoted herself to taking revenge but now she did not have any desire to complete the revenge. She thought it was useless.

That man already lived his life, so she did too. She was also thankful to him divorcing him since she got to know a nice boss like Yu Qi.

”You can go to visit your parent’s grave. They probably miss you.” Yu Qi said. She knew that Chui Mei Fung’s parent already died. That was why after she had been divorced by the man, she wanted to suicide since she did not have anyone else.

Hearing Yu Qi mentioned her parent, she remembered them. Her parent actually did not agree that Chui Mei Fung married to that man. But since their daughter liked the man so much, they allowed her to get married to him.

After married, Chui Mei Fung distanced herself from her own parent. Only her parent died in a car accident, she went back. She got criticized by the villagers. At that time, she did not feel guilty since she thought it was not her fault that they died. After heard story from the villagers, her parent missed her and wanted to see her so much, that was why they travelled and got in the car accident.

Two months after her parent died, she caught her husband cheating. However, when she wanted to confront her husband, she was in bed with another man in an inappropriate state. Her husband caught her with their neighbours.

Then her husband divorced her saying he was ashamed that he had been raised a whore. Her house, money, all snatched by her ex-husband.

”Yeah. I should go there.” Chui Mei Fung said.

”When do you want to go?” Yu Qi asked.

”Eh, why are you asking?” Chui Mei Fung asked back.

”Well, I have some work in your hometown. I can send you back.” Yu Qi told her.

Yu Qi wanted to do a market survey on Chui Mei Fung’s market. She wanted to go and see which business dominate the market there.

”Sure, why not?” Chui Mei Fung nodded. ”I want to go tomorrow.”

”Okay. I will go and fetch you at the mansion.” Yu Qi said.

Most of the ryokan employees that came from the far place and did not have a house to stay would be staying at Yu Qi’s mansion near the lake. Yu Qi asked the foreman to renovate the mansion into the hostel.

....

Yu Qi drove his grandfather’s car. She already got her driving license. Yu Qi took Chui Mei Fung. Chui Mei Fung was pretty surprised when she saw Yu Qi in the driver seat. She did not expect that her boss already got her driving license and would become her driver for today.

”Don’t worry. I’m a good driver.” Yu Qi thought Chui Mei Fung was afraid to get in the car when seeing her in the driver seat.

”Oh, okay.” Chui Mei Fung entered the car.

The journey took about 40 minutes. This was a small city. Chui Mei Fung displayed a small smile. It was rather a sad smile. She remembered the city very well. It was her birthplace. And also the place that she grew up.

”Where are you going first?” Yu Qi asked ended Chui Mei Fung’s thought.

”I want to go to my parent’s grave.” Chui Mei Fung said.

So, Chui Mei Fung guided Yu Qi to drive to the graveyard. Chui Mei Fung got out from the car as well as Yu Qi.

Chui Mei Fung gave a questioning look to Yu Qi.

Yu Qi smiled and said. ”I want to pay respect to your parent too since I’m here.”

”Oh, let’s go.” Chui Mei Fung nodded.

They went to Chui Mei Fung’s parent grave. Her parent had been buried beside each other. That was their wish. Her parent was a loving couple. Though it was an arranged marriage, they began to know and love each other.
