Lust System: Conquering the World Beauties

Chapter 370: Chapter 370 Perfect Beings

The bathroom door creaked open, and a faint cloud of steam followed Lana as she stepped out. Her damp hair clung to her shoulders, dark strands dripping at the ends, and she wore a thick white robe tied lazily around her waist.

The moment she appeared, Riri’s expression shifted completely. Just seconds ago, she’d been leaning back in her chair with that cold, carefree sharpness about her. Now, she put on a bright, almost sweet smile. Her eyes softened, her posture straightened, and she looked like a completely different person.

She even smiled at Liam.

Liam’s jaw tightened. That smile was so out of place it stunned him for a second. His mind went blank, the only thought running through him: This woman... she’s insane.

Riri stood, smoothing her dress with her palms as if nothing had happened. ”I’ve been chatting with Liam since,” she said cheerfully, her tone completely at odds with the threats she had thrown at him earlier. ”Such a lovely boy.”

Liam’s jaw dropped slightly. He almost choked on the air in his lungs. Lovely? What they had wasn’t even close to a lovely conversation. He had been accused, warned, and practically promised death. And now she was smiling like some doting aunt introducing him to the family. What the fuck is this woman?

Before he could even gather himself, Riri turned and disappeared into the hallway, humming faintly as though she had never meant a single sharp word.

Silence filled the dining room.

Then Lana, with her hair still dripping, came to him. She wrapped her arms gently around his neck from behind and leaned her head close, her robe brushing against his shoulder. Her damp skin was warm against him, her presence softer than her aunt’s strange energy.

Liam looked up at her, still wearing the same dumbfounded expression from before.

Lana smiled sweetly. ”I know my aunt is an amazing person,” she said, her voice light, her eyes glowing with affection. ”You must have been shocked.”

He could only nod. How was he supposed to tell her the truth—that her aunt had basically just told him she might eat his head for dinner if he wasn’t what he claimed? Yeah, there was no way to phrase that without sounding insane.

”Tch...” he thought. Doesn’t matter.

He gently removed her hands from his neck, standing from the chair. Without saying a word, he gathered the empty plates from the table and carried them into the kitchen. The sound of his footsteps on the old wooden floor echoed faintly through the house.

Lana followed him like a shadow. She hopped up on the kitchen cabinet and sat there with her robe falling loosely around her thighs. Her bare legs swung slowly, toes brushing against the cabinet door as she watched him move around.

Liam didn’t look at her right away, focusing instead on the water running into the sink and the dishes clinking as he rinsed them. But her stare was constant—warm, unblinking. Eventually, he gave her a sideways look.

She laughed lightly when their eyes met. ”What?”

Liam shook his head, his mouth quirking. ”It’s so weird.”

Her brows furrowed slightly. ”What is?”

He dried one plate, set it down, then glanced at her again. ”You. Looking at me like that.”

Lana tilted her head, then broke into a grin. ”I love watching you.”

He paused, caught off guard by her honesty. She said it without hesitation, no embarrassment. Just pure truth spilling from her lips.

Liam smirked. He rinsed his hands under the running water, the droplets sliding off his skin. He reached for the towel by the sink, drying his fingers slowly. Then he turned toward her, step by step closing the small distance.

The scent hit him before he even touched her. She had always smelled good, but this was different. Her skin carried the fresh warmth of a bath, layered with the faint fragrance of the soap she had used—something clean yet intoxicating. It filled his senses and made the kitchen feel smaller, tighter, hotter.

Her hair was messy, untamed from the steam and towel-drying, not the neat, combed style she usually wore. Wild. He liked it that way.

His eyes trailed down, and he caught the faint outline of her body under the robe. The fabric was thick, but it couldn’t fully hide the curves underneath. It clung in places where the water still dampened it, and the way it sat on her shoulders made it obvious she wasn’t wearing anything beneath.

Liam swallowed, his smirk widening slightly.

Lana noticed the way he was looking at her. She rolled her eyes, but her lips curved into a playful grin. ”Pervert.”

He laughed, the sound low, genuine, as he stepped right between her knees. He slid his arms around her waist, pulling her into his chest.

Her body was warm, still soft from the bathwater.

Their eyes met briefly, and then he leaned down. His lips pressed against hers, slow but firm, and the kitchen filled with nothing but the faint sound of their breathing.

For the first time that night, Liam stopped thinking about Riri, about her strange threats, about everything else. All he could focus on was Lana—her warmth, her scent, her lips moving against his.

Liam broke off the kiss, his forehead resting lightly against Lana’s. Her breath brushed against his lips, still warm from the way she kissed him like she wanted to swallow him whole. For a moment, he just looked at her, then his tone shifted, curiosity slipping into his voice.

”Where did you learn to use your powers like that?” he asked, his mind flashing back to the way she moved earlier during training. The sharp precision, the flames bending like they obeyed her every thought. It wasn’t raw, it was trained.

Lana smiled softly, a glint in her eyes. ”My aunt taught me. She taught me combat too. She knows all these incredible things that I honestly can’t even name them all.”

Her voice carried a mix of pride and admiration, and Liam could tell it wasn’t just her power she respected—it was Riri herself.

Liam studied her closely, his gaze narrowing just slightly. ”How close are you to your aunt?”

The question made Lana pause. She tilted her head, her wet hair sliding over her shoulder, droplets soaking into the thick robe she still had on. She thought about it for a moment before answering. ”Pretty close, I’d say. I’m like the only family member she talks to. She doesn’t really keep contact with anyone else.”

That answer only made Liam more curious. He leaned back a little, his tone probing. ”Why is that?”

Lana shrugged, her robe shifting just enough to tease him with the curve of her collarbone. ”I don’t know. You’d have to ask her that yourself.” She narrowed her eyes at him, reading his face. ”Why are you asking so many questions about my aunt anyway?”

Caught off guard, Liam coughed lightly, trying to play it off. ”It’s just... she lives alone, in the middle of the woods. No tech, no real connection to the outside world. It’s... weird.”

The way Lana looked at him told him she wasn’t buying it. Not fully. Her eyes locked on him, sharp, probing, like she could see past the excuse. She knew there was more he wasn’t saying.

Liam quickly shifted the mood. He chuckled, leaned in, and nipped at her nose with a playful bite. ”Stop poking around,” he muttered against her skin.

Lana didn’t reply right away. She only gave him that suspicious look, lips twitching as if she wanted to smile but wouldn’t give him the satisfaction. She let the silence hang long enough for him to notice before finally relaxing under his touch.

Liam lifted his hand and cupped her face, his thumb brushing across her cheek, tracing the soft dampness of her freshly washed skin. His gaze ran over her features slowly, like he was memorizing every detail. ”You know... you’re dangerous,” he said quietly.

Her brows raised. ”Dangerous?”

”Yeah,” Liam murmured. ”Because you’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen.”

And he meant it. Her hair still messy from the shower, her green eyes sharp and gleaming, her lips full and inviting. The way she looked at him wasn’t polished—it was raw, alive, and devastating. Lana was flawless in a way that didn’t feel real, like her beauty could tear him apart if he wasn’t careful.

Her lips curled slowly into a smile. She lifted her hands, cupped his face in return, and tilted his head so he had no choice but to look directly into her eyes. ”And you, Liam,” she said, her tone warm and teasing, ”are the most gorgeous, ridiculously good-looking man I’ve ever laid eyes on.”

She let the words linger, then continued, her voice dropping just slightly. ”Strong jaw, dangerous eyes, that stupidly perfect smile... You’re like a painting that decided to walk around and mess with women’s heads.” She leaned closer, her forehead touching his again. ”And you know it.”

Liam blinked, taken aback, then laughed in disbelief. ”What is this? Glazing?”

”Yes,” Lana said without hesitation. ”Because you deserve it.”

Before he could argue, she leaned in and bit his nose back, playful and deliberate.

Liam groaned with a grin, shaking his head as he caught her wrist. ”You’re insane.”

”And you love it,” Lana shot back, smirking as she stayed close, her eyes daring him to deny it.

The moment stretched between them, thick with tension, the playful words melting into something heavier. She didn’t need to say another word for him to know—this woman would wreck him, and he’d let her.
