Chapter 65: Chapter 65 Fighting The Drug Dealers I

Liam finally pulled over, bringing the motorcycle to a smooth stop.

He let the engine purr for a second before shutting it off.

This was the place.

The location Lilith had sent him.

His deep blue eyes scanned the surroundings from behind his helmet. The area was dark, the only sources of light coming from scattered streetlamps and flickering neon signs in the distance.

If there were drug dealers here, they had to be somewhere close.

As he reached up to remove his helmet, he suddenly paused.

Wait a second.

If he wasn’t killing these people, then revealing his face would be a stupid move.

Leaving the helmet on, he swung his leg off the bike and took a step forward.

That’s when he noticed it—

A faint flash of light in the distance, barely noticeable in the dim alleyway up ahead.

Liam’s lips curled into a smirk under his helmet.

”Got ya.”

---

In The Alleyway

Six men stood in two groups.

Three on the left, three on the right.

On one side, a bag filled with money.

On the other side, a bag filled with cocaine.

The tension in the air was thick as the negotiation dragged on.

”Count it again,” one of the men on the money side growled.

The dealer holding the cocaine scowled. ”We already counted it, asshole.”

”Yeah? Well, count it again.”

The other side exchanged glances before reluctantly opening the bag, pulling out wads of cash and flipping through them.

The mood was getting heavier.

Then—

CRASH!

The sound of empty cans falling over shattered the silence.

All six men immediately froze.

Their heads snapped toward the source of the noise, and their hands instinctively reached for their weapons.

Hiding behind the trash, Liam clenched his teeth.

For fuck’s sake.

He had only barely moved, and somehow, he had kicked over a damn pile of garbage cans.

Now his cover was blown.

He took a slow, deep breath.

Well... guess there’s no choice now.

Stepping out from behind the trash, Liam casually dusted off his clothes and walked into the open.

Six pairs of furious eyes locked onto him.

The men looked like wolves who had just spotted an intruder in their territory.

Liam, meanwhile, simply sniffed himself.

Still smells good.

Satisfied, he finally raised his hands in a mock surrender and said, ”Sorry for disturbing you, sirs. Just ignore my presence and continue with your deal.”

Silence.

The six men stared at him like he was the dumbest motherfucker they had ever seen.

For a moment, nobody moved.

Then—

One of them stepped forward, cracking his knuckles.

”You must be out of your goddamn mind.”

Another pulled out a switchblade, flipping it open with a flick of his wrist.

”Did you seriously think you could spy on us and then walk away?”

Liam tilted his head. ”I mean... yeah?”

Wrong answer.

All six men immediately moved toward him, their expressions filled with murderous intent.

---

Back Underground – The Bar

The luxurious underground club was still buzzing with life, the air filled with the sound of music and laughter.

Lilith sat at the bar, lazily swirling the drink in her hand.

Across from her, a small screen displayed the live transmission of Liam’s mission.

The men she had placed nearby were feeding her a live feed, letting her watch everything unfold in real time.

Her golden-blonde hair fell over her shoulders as she rested her chin on her palm, her feline-like eyes locked onto the screen.

Then—

She furrowed her brows.

What the fuck was Liam doing?

He had walked out like an idiot, sniffed himself, and casually asked them to ignore him?

For the first time in a long while, Lilith actually felt disappointment.

She exhaled slowly, tilting her head slightly.

Why is he trying to run away?

Did he not understand the damn assignment?

She had explicitly told him to fight them.

But instead of doing that, he was out there acting like some clueless bystander.

Her golden eyes flickered with a hint of irritation.

Still, she kept watching.

Because if Liam failed this mission...

Then he was as good as useless.

---

Liam barely had time to react before a rough hand grabbed his shirt from behind and yanked him backward.

The sudden pull forced him to take a step back, nearly throwing him off balance.

One of the drug dealers, a tall, bulky man with a scar across his cheek, sneered as he tightened his grip on Liam’s shirt. ”You’re acting real casual for someone caught sneaking around,” he growled.

The others stepped closer, boxing Liam in from all sides.

Another man, this one lean with a shaved head, pointed at Liam’s helmet. ”Take it off.”

Liam blinked under his helmet, then took a step back, raising his hands in a ”calm down” gesture.

”Naively speaking,” he said with mock innocence, ”for privacy purposes, I won’t be pulling my helmet off.”

Silence.

The six men stared at him as if he had just spoken in an alien language.

Then—

”Fuck this.”

The man with the shaved head let out an irritated sigh and reached behind his back.

Liam’s eyes flickered toward the movement.

A second later—

A gun was pointed directly at his forehead.

The cold barrel of the pistol rested against the smooth surface of Liam’s helmet, pressing just above where his skin would have been.

The man holding the gun stepped closer, his voice dropping into a low, dangerous tone.

”Take off the fucking helmet.”

Liam remained completely still.

Even under his helmet, his gaze was locked onto the gun, his mind calculating the situation in microseconds.

Back Underground – The Bar

At the underground bar, the men transmitting the live feed to Lilith grew tense.

They had been monitoring the situation through the hidden devices placed around the alley, and things had now escalated beyond what they expected.

One of them, a man with a rough voice, pressed his transmitter and spoke directly to Lilith.

”Boss, should we go in? If we wait any longer, his stupidity is gonna get him killed.”

Another voice chimed in. ”Yeah, this guy’s seriously pissing them off. They’re gonna blow his brains out.”

Lilith, still seated at the bar, tapped a finger against her glass, her golden eyes narrowed as she stared at the screen displaying the live feed.

She wasn’t blind—Liam had been acting like a fool this entire time.

But—

At that moment, she noticed something.

Liam’s body language had shifted.

The way his shoulders stiffened.

The way his head tilted ever so slightly as he stared at the gun.

And most importantly—

The way his fingers twitched.

That was not the body language of someone scared.

It was the body language of a man about to strike.

Lilith’s lips curled into a faint smile as she leaned forward, speaking into the transmitter.

”Wait.”

The men at the bar hesitated.

”But Boss—”

”Wait.”

Her golden eyes gleamed as she watched.

”Let’s see what he does.”

---

Back in the Alleyway

Liam’s voice came out as a quiet murmur under his helmet.

”I hate guns.”

The man with the pistol squinted. ”The fuck did you just say?”

Liam’s lips curled into a grin.

”I said—fuck off.”

The very next moment—

CRACK!

Liam’s leg shot out like a bullet, his boot connecting directly with the man’s hand.

The force of the kick sent a sharp shockwave up the man’s arm, and before he could even react—

The gun flew out of his grasp.

It clattered against the pavement and skidded several meters away.

Liam didn’t stop there.

Before anyone else could lunge for the weapon, he swiftly kicked it further down the alleyway, sending it spinning out of reach.

He then cracked his fingers, his voice dripping with amusement.

”Haven’t had fun in a while.”

The man who had just lost his gun was fuming.

His face twisted with rage, his jaw clenched so tight it looked like he was going to break his own teeth.

With zero hesitation, he reached down to his boot and pulled out a zombie knife—a long, serrated blade designed to rip flesh apart.

He lunged.

Liam’s eyes sharpened.

The man’s attack was wild, full of rage, but predictable.

Liam sidestepped smoothly, letting the blade graze the air where his stomach had been.

And then—

With a brutal grip, Liam caught the man’s wrist in midair.

The drug dealer’s eyes widened.

Liam’s grip was like a steel vice, completely immobilizing his arm.

And then—

CRACK!

A sickening, bone-snapping noise echoed through the alleyway.

The man let out a bloodcurdling scream, his body twisting as pain shot through his nerves.

His arm was completely broken.

Liam had snapped it with pure brute strength.

Without a second thought, Liam kicked him away, sending him rolling onto the ground like a ragdoll.

The remaining five men froze in shock.

Their minds struggled to process what just happened.

One moment, their guy was attacking.

The next, his arm was shattered like a dry twig.

Liam tilted his head, his deep blue eyes—hidden behind the visor of his helmet—locking onto the five remaining men.

Then, with mock politeness, he gestured toward them.

”Alright. Who’s ready to dance?”

The alley fell silent.

Only the sound of the injured man groaning in agony filled the air.

The five remaining drug dealers exchanged glances, their hands tightening around their weapons.

The fight had only just begun.
