Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

The morning sun had barely crested the horizon, painting the sky in hues of bruised purple and bleeding orange, when Wang Jian summoned Sect Leader Hua Yimei to the secluded cultivation cave beneath the Cloud-Peak Pavilion. The air in the cavern was cool and damp, smelling faintly of earth and the powerful medicinal herbs growing in the adjacent secret chamber.

Hua Yimei arrived silently. She wore her formal Sect Leader robes, the high collar buttoned tight to hide the marks on her neck, the heavy fabric concealing the bruises on her hips and buttocks. She walked with a stiff, careful grace, her body still aching from the relentless usage of the previous night. Her face was a mask of composure, but her eyes were dull, the fire of resistance extinguished by the sheer weight of Wang Jian’s domination.

Wang Jian stood in the center of the cave, his hands clasped behind his back. He was dressed in simple black training robes, looking fresh, vibrant, and terrifyingly energetic. The Stellar Demonic Meridian Scripture had processed the Yin energy from both mother and daughter, leaving him on the very precipice of a breakthrough.

”Close the door,” Wang Jian commanded without turning around.

Hua Yimei obeyed. She activated the stone mechanism, sealing them inside. She walked to the center of the room and knelt behind him, lowering her head to the floor.

”Master,” she whispered, the title slipping from her lips with practiced ease.

Wang Jian turned slowly. He looked down at the woman kneeling at his feet—the ruler of the Fragrance Melody Sect, a Middle-Stage Core Formation expert, now reduced to a pet.

”Rise, Yimei,” he said calmly.

She stood, keeping her eyes lowered.

”We need to talk about the future,” Wang Jian began, his voice devoid of the lust that usually colored it. ”Specifically, the future of your daughter.”

Hua Yimei’s head snapped up, fear igniting in her eyes. ”Ling’er? You promised... you said if I submitted...”

”I did,” Wang Jian interrupted. ”And I intend to keep my word. I will treat her like a queen. I will protect her. I will ensure she never knows the degradation you have suffered. She will live in a fairy tale where I am the hero and she is the beloved wife.”

He stepped closer, invading her personal space.

”But promises are fragile things, Yimei. And trust... trust is earned. I cannot build an empire on a foundation of sand. I need insurance. I need to know, with absolute certainty, that you will never betray me. That you will never try to take her away. That you will never poison my wine while I sleep.”

”I wouldn’t!” Hua Yimei protested, though the thought had crossed her mind in the darkest hours of the night. ”I swear on my Dao heart!”

”Dao oaths can be broken if one is willing to pay the price,” Wang Jian dismissed. ”I need something stronger. Something permanent.”

He raised his hand, his index finger glowing with a dark, complex spiritual light. The energy writhed like a living snake, radiating a cold, binding aura.

”You must accept my Slave Seal,” Wang Jian stated.

Hua Yimei stared at the glowing finger. She knew what a Slave Seal was. It was a forbidden art, a spiritual brand that bound the soul of the recipient to the master. It allowed the master to monitor their thoughts, suppress their cultivation, and even kill them with a single thought. It was the ultimate end of freedom.

”A... Slave Seal?” she whispered, her blood running cold.

”It is the only way,” Wang Jian said, his voice hard. ”If you accept, Ling’er remains the pampered princess. If you refuse... I cannot guarantee my patience. I might decide that breaking her spirit is safer than trusting you.”

The threat was explicit.

Hua Yimei looked at the dark light, then at Wang Jian’s unyielding face. She thought of her daughter, sleeping peacefully in the bridal chamber, believing she was the luckiest woman in the world. She thought of the shame, the secrets, the weight of the sect.

If she accepted, she was truly lost. But she was already lost. Her body belonged to him. Her cultivation depended on him. What was her soul, really, in the face of that?

”I accept,” Hua Yimei said, her voice steady. She closed her eyes. ”Do it.”

Wang Jian smiled. ”Good girl.”

He didn’t place the seal on her forehead. He reached out and ripped the front of her ceremonial robes open, exposing her stomach. He pressed his glowing finger against her lower abdomen, directly over her womb.

”Receive,” he commanded.

Hua Yimei gasped as the energy pierced her skin. It wasn’t physical pain; it was a spiritual invasion. She felt the cold energy rush into her dantian, wrapping around her soul, sinking its claws into the very core of her being. It burned and froze at the same time.

She arched her back, a silent scream in her throat as the seal settled.

On her skin, just above her pubic bone, a black, intricate tattoo manifested. It was the shape of a blooming orchid, wrapped in chains of stellar light.

Wang Jian pulled his hand back. ”It is done.”

Hua Yimei slumped, breathing heavily. She felt... different. There was a weight in her mind, a presence that wasn’t hers. She looked at Wang Jian and felt an overwhelming compulsion to obey, a terrifying inability to summon any murderous intent towards him.

”Now,” Wang Jian said, buttoning her robes back up with a possessive tenderness. ”You are truly mine. I can seal your power instantly. I can track you across the ocean. You belong to me, body and soul.”

”Yes, Master,” Hua Yimei whispered. Strangely, she felt a wave of relief. The struggle was over. She didn’t have to fight anymore. She just had to obey.

Wang Jian walked to the stone wall of the cave. ”Now that you are sealed... I can show you the truth. I can show you what you have joined.”

He clapped his hands. A hidden array on the wall shimmered and dissolved, revealing a tunnel.

”Come out,” Wang Jian called into the darkness.

Footsteps echoed. Several figures emerged from the shadows.

Hua Yimei watched, confused. Who else knew of this place?

The first to emerge was a woman in green robes, radiating an aura of serene power. It was Mu Lianhua.

Behind her walked Chen Ying, the icy swordswoman, and Liu Ruyan, the fiery alchemist disciple. And behind them, the five married maids who served the Cloud-Peak Pavilion.

”Sister Mu?” Hua Yimei blinked. ”What are you doing here?”

Mu Lianhua stopped in front of Wang Jian. She didn’t bow to Hua Yimei. She turned to Wang Jian and bowed deeply, her movements fluid and submissive.

”Master,” Mu Lianhua said.

”Master?” Hua Yimei repeated, her mind reeling.

Wang Jian smirked. ”Sect Leader Hua, allow me to formally introduce you to my harem. My true harem.”

He gestured to Mu Lianhua. ”Reveal yourself, Lianhua.”

Mu Lianhua straightened. Her eyes, usually warm and gentle, turned sharp. She released the suppression technique she had been maintaining for months.

BOOM.

An aura of terrifying power exploded from her body. It filled the cave, pressing down on Hua Yimei with suffocating weight. It wasn’t the aura of an Early Stage Core Formation cultivator. It was vast, deep, and overwhelmingly powerful.

”Peak... Late Stage... Core Formation?” Hua Yimei gasped, stumbling back, her eyes wide with horror and disbelief. ”Sister Mu... you... you are stronger than me? You are stronger than the Crimson Shark?”

”I am,” Mu Lianhua said calmly, her voice devoid of the sisterly warmth Hua Yimei was used to. ”I could have crushed the Crimson Shark with a wave of my hand. I could have wiped out the Iron-Blood Hall in an afternoon.”

”Then why?” Hua Yimei cried, feeling betrayed. ”Why did you let us suffer? Why did you let the sect be attacked?”

”Because the Master commanded it,” Mu Lianhua said simply, looking at Wang Jian with adoration. ”I am his servant. I am his slut. Just like Chen Ying. Just like Liu Ruyan. Just like you.”

Chen Ying stepped forward, her hand on her sword. ”We serve the Master. His will is our Dao.”

Liu Ruyan giggled, a dark sound. ”We are all sisters now, Sect Leader. Sisters in the Master’s bed.”

Hua Yimei looked at them. The deception was absolute. Everything—the struggle, the desperation, the reliance on Wang Jian—it had all been a play. A theater designed to break her.

”You...” she looked at Wang Jian, trembling. ”You planned this. From the beginning.”

”I did,” Wang Jian admitted, walking over to stand beside Mu Lianhua. He reached out and fondled Mu Lianhua’s breast openly. The powerful Late Stage cultivator leaned into his touch, moaning softly, completely submissive.

”I didn’t harm your sect, Yimei,” Wang Jian said, his voice calm. ”I defended it. I healed your disciples. I made you stronger. But I didn’t want allies. I wanted possession. I waited. I let the pressure build until you cracked. I needed you broken. I needed you and Ling’er to belong to me completely.”

Hua Yimei felt foolish. She felt small. But as she looked at Mu Lianhua—a woman far stronger than herself—submitting so willingly, a strange thought occurred to her. If a Peak Core Formation expert served him... who was Wang Jian, really?

”Come,” Wang Jian said. ”There is more.”

He led the group deeper into the tunnel. The air grew richer, thick with wood-attribute spiritual energy.

They emerged into a massive, hidden cavern.

Hua Yimei gasped.

The cavern was a garden. But not just any garden. It was a paradise of rare, glowing herbs. Fields of Spirit-Heart Grass, rows of Dragon-Blood Ginseng, and ancient vines dripping with spiritual fruits stretched out before her. The density of the Qi here was thick enough to form a mist.

And in the center, towering over everything, was a tree with bark like black iron and leaves of burning fire.

”The Phoenix Fire Tree...” Hua Yimei whispered, recognizing the legendary plant. ”It’s... it’s mature.”

”This is the source of my wealth,” Wang Jian said, spreading his arms. ”I possess the Verdant Eternal Spring Essence. I can grow in a month what takes nature a century. This garden alone is worth more than your entire sect, Yimei. More than the entire Myriad Reefs Sea Domain.”

Hua Yimei stared at the wealth before her. She realized the scope of his power. He wasn’t just a rogue cultivator. He was an Emperor in disguise.

”You see?” Wang Jian said, stepping up behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist. ”Being my slut... it has its benefits. I can provide resources you couldn’t dream of. I can raise this sect to heights you never imagined.”

Hua Yimei leaned back against him. Her resentment, her feeling of betrayal, began to fade, replaced by awe and a primal desire to be close to this power. He had deceived her, yes. He had raped her, yes. But he offered her a path to the heavens.

”I understand,” Hua Yimei whispered. She turned in his arms and bowed to Mu Lianhua. ”Senior Sister Mu... forgive my ignorance.”

Mu Lianhua smiled, stepping forward to cup Hua Yimei’s chin. ”We are family now, Yimei. We share the same Master. We share the same cock.”

Wang Jian laughed. ”Exactly. Now, let’s talk business.”

He walked to a stone table in the center of the garden and sat down. The women gathered around him.

”From now on,” Wang Jian declared, his voice turning serious, ”the Fragrance Melody Sect is closed to outsiders. No more trade delegations unless approved by me. No more open recruitment.”

He looked at Hua Yimei. ”And most importantly... no more cauldrons. We do not sell our disciples to appease powerful men. We do not offer women for protection. We are the predators now.”

Hua Yimei nodded, a spark of pride returning to her eyes. ”Yes, Master.”

”I will help all of you cultivate,” Wang Jian continued. ”With the resources in this garden, and with my dual cultivation technique, we will raise an army. The disciples will become warriors, not dancers.”

He tapped the table. ”As for me... with Ling’er’s Primordial Yin, and with your body, Yimei... I am on the verge. I can condense my Core within a month.”

”A month?” Hua Yimei asked, shocked. Even geniuses took years to prepare.

”My foundation is perfect,” Wang Jian said. ”Once I am Core Formation... my strength will skyrocket. The Stellar Demonic Meridian Scripture grants me power far beyond my realm. At Early Stage Core Formation, I will be able to slaughter Late Stage experts like dogs.”

His eyes gleamed with ambition.

”But to do that... and to expand further... we need more.”

He looked at Hua Yimei with a greedy expression. ”More high-level beauties. More Yin.”

”Master?” Hua Yimei asked.

”Your sect is small,” Wang Jian said. ”I need women with strong cultivation bases. Core Formation women. Women with special physiques. Women with status.”

He leaned forward. ”Yimei, you know this region. You know the players. I want you to be my scout. Use your network. Find me the locations of stunning female cultivators with Core Formation strength. Sect Leaders, rogue cultivators, icy fairies, demonic witches... I don’t care. If they are beautiful and strong, I want them.”

”Find their weaknesses,” he ordered. ”Find their locations. Find out what they desire or what they fear. I will handle the subduing. I will break them just as I broke you.”

Hua Yimei thought for a moment. Her mind raced through the roster of powerful women in the Myriad Reefs Sea Domain.

”I know of a few,” she admitted slowly. ”There is the Ice-Heart Palace Master to the North... and the Crimson-Lotus Witch of the demonic faction. But... they are involved with powerful factions. The Myriad Ocean Palace watches everything. If we move against them...”

Wang Jian reached out and grabbed her wrist, pulling her onto his lap. He raised his hand and smacked her buttocks hard.

SMACK.

Her flesh jiggled under the impact, the sound echoing in the cavern.

”I didn’t ask for excuses,” Wang Jian growled, his hand kneading her ass. ”I will deal with the factions. I will deal with the Myriad Ocean Palace when the time comes. Your job is to find the women. Your job is to line them up for me.”

Hua Yimei flushed, the sting on her buttocks sending a familiar jolt of arousal through her. The slave seal pulsed warmly.

”Yes, Master,” she breathed. ”I will find them. I will bring you a list.”

”Good,” Wang Jian said. ”Manage this sect properly, Hua Yimei. This is my base now. My harem’s garden. Keep the disciples safe, keep them training, and keep them ignorant of the truth. Only the inner circle knows who truly rules here.”

”I understand,” she nodded.

Wang Jian looked around at his women. Mu Lianhua, the powerhouse hiding in the shadows. Chen Ying and Liu Ruyan, his lethal enforcers. Hua Yimei, the broken queen. And above, sleeping in the pavilion, Hua Ling, the innocent princess.

He had everything he needed.

”The preparation phase is over,” Wang Jian said, standing up and pulling Hua Yimei with him. He looked at the Phoenix Fire Tree, its leaves burning with eternal flame. ”Now, we ascend.”

He turned to Hua Yimei, gripping her chin. ”Tonight, you will help me refine the last of the energy. We will cultivate in the garden. I want to test the effects of the Dragon-Blood Ginseng on your endurance.”

Hua Yimei shivered, knowing what that meant. ”Yes, Master.”

Wang Jian smiled, a dark, terrible smile of a man whose ambition knew no bounds. The Fragrance Melody Sect had fallen, consumed by his lust and power. But from its ashes, under his rule, it would rise as a terrifying force that would shake the entire ocean.

”Let’s begin,” he said.
