Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Among the children of Devil King Mo Yu, a young woman stood out. Her raven hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall of midnight, and her crimson eyes burned with an intensity that rivaled even her father’s. This was Mo Yu’s eldest daughter, Xirong, known for her mastery over shadow manipulation. With a flick of her wrist, she summoned a swirling vortex of darkness that engulfed a group of Angel Race warriors. Their screams were abruptly silenced, swallowed by the abyssal darkness.

Another son of Mo Yu, a hulking figure with horns like gnarled branches, unleashed a torrent of demonic flames. Black fire erupted from his outstretched palms, engulfing a section of the Jadewood Formation. The emerald light sputtered and died, and the formation shuddered, on the verge of collapse.

Across the battlefield, Wang Jian watched the unfolding scene with a predatory glint in his eye. The sheer number of Devil Race reinforcements presented a challenge, yet it wasn’t insurmountable. He saw Lu Rong’er, caught in a vortex of demonic energy unleashed by one of Mo Yu’s sons. However, instead of rushing to her aid, a smirk played on his lips. He knew she could handle herself.

And indeed, Lu Rong’er did. Drawing upon her angelic heritage, she channeled her celestial energy into a shield of pure light. The demonic energy collided with the shimmering barrier, hissing and sputtering like a rabid beast meeting an impenetrable wall. The Devil Race prince roared in frustration, unleashing another wave of black fire, but it was futile. Lu Rong’er remained unharmed, a defiant symbol of angelic purity amidst the demonic chaos.

Seeing his son’s struggle, Mo Yu let out a guttural roar. With a burst of incredible speed, he closed the distance between himself and Lu Rong’er in a blink. His hand, imbued with demonic energy, slammed towards her head, intending to crush her skull in a single blow.

A blinding light engulfed Lu Rong’er’s body as she was teleported away. It was Wang Jian who had done that, acting with lightning-fast reflexes honed through years of cultivation.

In her place, he left behind an illusion of Lu Rong’er, a perfect copy that shimmered for a brief moment before dissipating into nothingness. Mo Yu’s fist slammed into the illusion, shattering it with a concussive boom. The Devil King roared in frustration, realizing he had been tricked.

“Playing with fire, are we, Devil King?” Wang Jian taunted, his voice laced with amusement. “Didn’t your mother ever teach you not to pick fights with people you can’t beat?”

Mo Yu’s eyes narrowed in fury. The unexpected intervention had thwarted his attack, and the smug look on Wang Jian’s face only added to his rage. “You dare interfere, human worm!” he roared, his voice a guttural growl that echoed across the battlefield.

A sardonic chuckle escaped Wang Jian’s lips. “There’s no need to bellow, Devil King,” he said, his voice dripping with mockery. “Shouting won’t win you this battle, nor will it imbue you with any newfound strength.”

Suddenly, a figure materialized on the battlefield, drawing the attention of everyone present. It was Huang Zhi, his face etched with a mixture of confusion and anger. His gaze flitted between Mo Yu and Lu Rong’er, finally landing on the Devil King.

“Father-in-law,” he boomed, his voice laced with accusation, “why did you attack Lu Rong’er? Don’t you know she is my wife?”

Mo Yu snorted, a dismissive gesture that spoke volumes. “This isn’t a time for sentimentality, son-in-law,” he growled. “Mercy is a luxury we can’t afford in this battle for survival.”

Huang Zhi bristled at his father-in-law’s words, but before he could retort, his eyes fell on Lu Rong’er. Relief washed over him as he assessed her unharmed form. “Are you alright, my dear wife?” he called out, a hint of concern softening his voice.

His question hung in the air, unanswered. Lu Rong’er seemed oblivious to his presence, her gaze fixed solely on Wang Jian. A gentle smile graced her lips as she spoke, her voice barely a whisper.

“Thank you, Wang Jian,” she murmured, “for saving me from that attack.”

Wang Jian responded with a fleeting touch, gently patting her head. “Think nothing of it,” he said softly. “Just be careful from now on. Go, continue your fight for justice.”

His words sent a jolt of fury through Huang Zhi. Witnessing the intimate interaction between his wife and Wang Jian, his blood ran cold. “What’s the meaning of this?” he roared, his voice cracking with barely contained rage. “Lu Rong’er, why are you acting so familiar with this human?!”

Lu Rong’er turned towards him, her expression a stark contrast to the tenderness she had displayed towards Wang Jian. A single, cold snort escaped her lips. “I have no desire to interact with you any further, Huang Zhi,” she declared, her voice laced with icy disdain. “As of now, I consider our marriage dissolved.”

Huang Zhi’s world seemed to crumble around him. The woman he loved, the woman he had pledged his life to protect, was casting him aside like yesterday’s news. Denial flickered in his eyes before morphing into a desperate plea. “Lu Rong’er, what are you saying? What brought on this sudden change?”

The fury in Lu Rong’er’s eyes intensified. “The truth, Huang Zhi,” she spat, her voice trembling with repressed anger. “The truth about the insidious way you stole the power of my Divine Spark!”

Huang Zhi’s eyes widened in a mixture of shock and fear. He hadn’t anticipated her discovering his secret, a secret he had hoped would remain buried forever. A glance towards Wang Jian’s smug grin confirmed his suspicion – the human must have revealed it.

“Lu Rong’er, please,” he stammered, scrambling to justify his actions. “I only absorbed your Divine Spark because… because I didn’t want Celestial Maiden Yuqing to use you as a weapon against the Devil Race!”

His words only served to fuel her rage. “Shameless!” she shrieked, clenching her fists so tightly her knuckles turned white. “To think I once loved you with such devotion! How dare you use such a pathetic excuse to steal from me without even seeking my consent!”

Tears welled up in her eyes, a potent mix of betrayal and fury. The man she once considered her soulmate had revealed himself to be a deceitful, self-serving coward. Her love for him had evaporated, leaving behind a smoldering crater of disgust.

Huang Zhi, overwhelmed by the avalanche of emotions, could only stammer, his pleas falling on deaf ears. The woman he loved, the woman he thought he understood, was a stranger to him now, and it was all his fault.

Despair gnawed at Huang Zhi’s heart. He saw the flicker of contempt in Lu Rong’er’s eyes, a chasm that no amount of pleading could bridge. In a desperate attempt to salvage their relationship, he stammered, “Lu Rong’er, listen to me! I can return your Divine Spark’s energy. I… I can awaken it for you! Just… just stay with me, remain my wife!”

A derisive snort escaped Lu Rong’er’s lips. This pathetic plea only solidified his image as a conniving manipulator. She stole a glance at Wang Jian, a silent question hanging in the air. With a barely perceptible nod from him, she turned back to Huang Zhi.

“Keep it,” she declared, her voice laced with ice. “I have no need for power stolen from me.”

Then, in a move that stunned everyone on the battlefield, a blinding light erupted from Lu Rong’er. It pulsed with celestial energy, emanating from the very core of her being. The Divine Spark, dormant for so long, had awakened on its own. Angels, devils, princesses, kings – all eyes fixated on the source of the brilliance. Lu Rong’er, bathed in the celestial glow, stood tall, no longer just an angel princess, but a true goddess – the Silver Light Goddess!

Devil King Mo Yu’s expression turned grim. The possibility of a hidden divine spark among the Angel Princesses had never crossed his mind, let alone its awakening. His gamble with the reinforcements seemed less certain now.

Huang Zhi stared, dumbfounded. Despite losing the stolen energy, Lu Rong’er had awakened her Divine Spark. How? Where did she find the necessary celestial power on such short notice? A chilling realization began to dawn on him – Wang Jian had somehow aided her.

Sensing his gaze, Wang Jian materialized beside Lu Rong’er, a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “Go, my Silver Light Goddess,” he murmured, his voice carrying only to her. “Rescue your mother. The Devil King’s elite are hindering her.”

Lu Rong’er clenched her fists. A part of her yearned to unleash her fury on Huang Zhi, but logic prevailed. Her mother was in greater need. Celestial Maiden Yuqing, surrounded by the Devil King’s elite forces trapped in an elaborate array formation, fought valiantly. Though she held her own, fatigue was slowly creeping in.

With a dazzling burst of light, Lu Rong’er soared towards the battlefield. Her celestial energy surged, disrupting the array formation surrounding her mother. The Devil King’s elite faltered, their carefully crafted strategy thrown into disarray.
