Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

The atmosphere on the star crackled with anticipation as the Sanguine Star Academy’s teachers and students landed.

The buzz of excitement was palpable, each member eager to uncover the secrets Lin Fei had stumbled upon.

The allure of potential treasures fueled their determination to explore the situation surrounding the Divine Phoenix’s appearance.

Wang Jian, leading the group, was meticulous in his approach. He had no intention of participating in the potential skirmish. Instead, he observed keenly, gauging the motivations and strategies of the others.

As they arrived, the telltale signs of the Divine Phoenix’s departure became evident—the fading glow of a closing portal. Lin Fei was now left unprotected, a fact not lost on the astute members of the Sanguine Star Academy.

Their pursuit of Lin Fei began, propelled by a mix of curiosity, greed, and a desire to seize whatever treasures the young cultivator had acquired. Artifacts enhancing speed were employed, and the chase was on.

Lin Fei, aware of their approach, prepared for the impending confrontation.

The clash between the lone cultivator and the group from the Sanguine Star Academy unfolded, the battleground echoing with the clash of divine techniques and the hum of spiritual energy.

Teacher Mei Lan, a formidable woman renowned for her mastery of wind-based techniques. Her razor-sharp gusts cut through the air as she lunged at Lin Fei, eyes ablaze with determination.

In response, Lin Fei showcased his mastery of the Phoenix Ascension Technique, manipulating flames to counter the onslaught of wind.

‘This technique is truly formidable. The Divine Phoenix’s teachings are proving beneficial,’ Lin Fei thought, focusing on raising his proficiency and power with each passing moment.

The battlefield became a dazzling display of divine techniques.

Student Lei Chen, proficient in lightning manipulation, unleashed arcs of electrical energy that crackled through the air. Lin Fei, undeterred, utilized the flame control granted by the Phoenix Ascension Technique to create a protective barrier.

The battle intensified as more teachers and students joined the fray.

Senior Teacher Yuan Rong, well-versed in earth-based techniques, summoned rock formations to entrap Lin Fei. ‘They’re using diverse techniques to corner me. I need to stay on my toes,’ Lin Fei strategized.

In the midst of the chaos, Lin Fei drew upon the power of his Divine Soul, summoning a Flame Phoenix to aid him. The majestic bird materialized, its fiery plumage illuminating the battlefield.

‘Let them witness the might of a Flame Phoenix at the Divine Spirit Realm,’ Lin Fei thought, confident in the advantage this ally would provide.

The Flame Phoenix soared through the battlefield, its scorching presence overwhelming the opponents. It’s mastery over the flames truly left everyone awestruck.

Meanwhile, Lin Fei demonstrated the prowess of his Ancient Sacred Body. His physical form, resilient and robust, allowed him to withstand attacks that would cripple an average cultivator.

‘The Sacred Body grants me unparalleled strength. They won’t easily break through my defenses,’ Lin Fei mused, his confidence growing.

Teacher Li Wei, specializing in spatial manipulation, attempted to create rifts to disorient Lin Fei. However, Lin Fei’s heightened senses, honed through battles and encounters, allowed him to navigate the altered space effortlessly.

The battle reached its zenith as Lin Fei, utilizing a combination of Flame Phoenix attacks, Ancient Sacred Body resilience, and his own divine techniques, held his ground against the onslaught.

‘They’re formidable opponents, but I won’t let them take what I’ve earned.’

As the confrontation unfolded, Wang Jian watched from a distance, his silver hair gleaming under the star’s light. His sharp eyes analyzed the unfolding events, searching for patterns and strategies that could prove useful in the future.

Amidst the chaos, Yu Qing, curious about Wang Jian’s intentions, couldn’t hold back her question. “Why aren’t you ordering me to attack Lin Fei if you want those treasures?” she inquired, her eyes reflecting a mix of curiosity and anticipation.

Wang Jian’s silver hair gleamed as he chuckled, his eyes holding a mysterious glint. “Not yet, my dear Yu Qing. Timing is everything.”

Inwardly, Wang Jian mulled over the complexity of the situation. ‘Lin Fei’s providence is growing stronger. Killing him might not be feasible at the moment.’

He understood the significance of providence—the intangible force that dictated one’s destiny. Lin Fei’s encounter with the Divine Phoenix had elevated his providence to remarkable levels.

In his mind, Wang Jian weighed the options. ‘I need to diminish Lin Fei’s providence, but a direct attack won’t work. I have to find another way.’

His thoughts then turned to Lin Fei’s connections, particularly those close to him. The idea of targeting someone dear to Lin Fei emerged as a potential avenue to weaken his providence.

A wicked grin crept onto Wang Jian’s face as a realization struck him. ‘Family bonds run deep. Lin Fei must have someone he cherishes, someone close. A childhood friend, a sister, or perhaps even an engagement.’

With renewed determination, Wang Jian decided to explore this avenue. If he could manipulate the threads of Lin Fei’s personal connections, the resulting emotional turmoil would undoubtedly sap away some of his providence.

Wang Jian surveyed the ongoing skirmish between Lin Fei and the Sanguine Star Academy’s students and teachers, a spark of amusement dancing in his eyes. As the cosmic drama unfolded, he turned to Yu Qing with a nonchalant demeanor.

“There’s nothing left to see here,” Wang Jian declared with a casual wave of his hand. “Take me back to the Sanguine Star Academy.”

Yu Qing, her crimson hair reflecting the intensity of the starlight, raised an eyebrow. “Back so soon? What about all the excitement?”

Wang Jian shot her a sly grin, his silver hair catching the ambient glow. “There are more interesting things awaiting us. Now, let’s go.”

As they arrived at the seemingly deserted Sanguine Star Academy, Wang Jian’s eyes gleamed with mischief. Most of the academy’s occupants had joined the pursuit of Lin Fei, leaving the institution eerily empty.

With a hint of mystery in his voice, Wang Jian turned to Yu Qing. “Spread your Divine Sense over this entire place. Find every hidden spot, secret treasury, and stash. Take everything—

treasures, artifacts, herbs, and more. We’ll be needing them for our journey.”

Yu Qing, momentarily taken aback, couldn’t hide her surprise. “Steal from the academy? Why?”

Wang Jian, maintaining his sly demeanor, responded, “We need these resources for the road ahead. Trust me; it’s for a good cause.”

As Yu Qing pondered his words, Wang Jian simply grinned.

The academy, once a bastion of knowledge and cultivation, was now a treasure trove awaiting plunder.

Curiosity getting the better of her, Yu Qing pressed for more details. “And where exactly are we headed with all this loot?”

Wang Jian’s eyes glinted with determination. “To the Lin Family, it’s time for us to go and visit them.”

“Lin Family?! That’s one of the Eastern Region’s twelve ancient powerhouses. They’re on par with the Shui Family from which that Shui Xueying belonged to,” Yu Qing couldn’t help but speak out in surprise.

Wang Jian, undeterred by her skepticism, nodded confidently. “Indeed, my dear. The Lin Family holds secrets, treasures, and opportunities that we can’t afford to miss.”

With that, Yu Qing extended her divine senses, enveloping the entire academy in her perception. Her eyes glowed with the manifestation of her power as she began the task of locating every secret treasury within the Sanguine Star Academy.

As treasures, artifacts, and resources materialized in the spatial pocket under Yu Qing’s control, Wang Jian observed with satisfaction. The academy, now stripped of its hidden wealth, would soon become a mere memory as they set their sights on the grandeur of the Lin Family.

Little did the Lin Family know that a silver-haired strategist and a crimson-haired powerhouse were about to challenge the very foundations of his life.
