Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Wang Jian naturally brought Fan Gen’s wife along. She had been fed with a unique pellet that would prevent her from awakening any time soon.

The motive for bringing Fan Gen’s wife was simple. It was done to keep Fan Gen from developing deadly ideas.

Fan Gen hissed belligerently, “Let’s talk. What do you want from me? Also, if you hurt my wife in any way, I assure you that you won’t leave this camp alive.”

Wang Jian showed a detached and impassive reaction. He didn’t appear to be threatened by Fan Gen’s words.

“I am confused by people like you. You are definitely bright enough to comprehend your predicament, yet you will take the dumbest decision. Do you consider other people stupid?” Wang Jian inquired. He suddenly raised his sword and brought it down quickly at Fan Gen’s wife’s chest.

Fan Gen shrieked worriedly, “Stop. I-I…admit I was wrong. P-Please don’t hurt her.”

Wang Jian did stop and glared at Fan Gen, “Hmph. Don’t mistake my compassion for weakness.”

“I have a proposal for you, Fan Gen,” Wang Jian declared with a condescending look.

Fan Gen didn’t dare to interrupt Wang Jian. His eyes though remained focused on Wang Jian’s blade and was in relief that it hadn’t struck his wife’s chest.

“I heard that you betrothed your daughter to Lin Feng. That was an excellent decision on your part to develop a strong connection to Lin Feng. Unfortunately, your daughter seems to have three competitors. One is a maid in my mansion while the other two belong to tribes that are just as powerful as yours,” Wang Jian bloviated.

“What do you mean, Wang Jian?” With a disgruntled tone, Fan Gen inquired.

“Please don’t pretend to be puzzled. You know exactly what I am talking about,” Wang Jian replied callously.

Without waiting for Fan Gen to speak, Wang Jian added, “Even though you betrothed your daughter to Lin Feng, you have to admit that your relationship with him is not that good. It’s because your clan was the last one to submit to him. You have already witnessed his talent so it’s impossible for you not to have ideas of monopolizing him for yourself.”

Fan Gen was startled upon hearing Wang Jian’s words. He failed to understand how Wang Jian had this information.

Was there a spy in the Night Dagger Clan?

He decided to deal with this issue later and focused more on the situation occurring now.

Since there was no point in acting innocent, Fan Gen decided to reveal the truth.

“That’s correct. I indeed have such thoughts that you stated. However, Lin Feng’s talent is far above my understanding. It’s hard for me to exploit him without antagonizing him,” Fan Gen spoke bitterly.

Wang Jian expressed, “Why don’t you join hands with me, Fan Gen? You help me do some tasks and I will help you manipulate Lin Feng.”

“…How will you accomplish that? I don’t think Lin Feng will ever listen to a word from you. He feels genuine hatred towards you,” Fan Gen sneered. ．

“It’s easy to manipulate individuals who lose themselves to hate,” Wang Jian commented.

To give an example, Wang Jian asked, “What do you think will happen if news of my collaboration with the Miracle Angel Tribe and Crimson Mammoth Warriors is released? Do you think Lin Feng will trust them? Who will gain the most from this news? And you should realize my ability now. I could sneak into your house even though your subordinates are keeping watch over every direction. They possess sensing skill, but it doesn’t work on me.”

“So, just make a guess how much effort do I need to make to plant some evidence that suggests that the Miracle Angel Tribe and the Crimson Mammoth Warriors are colluding with me,” Wang Jian finished speaking with a confident look.

These words truly left Fan Gen in deep thought. After a few moments, he spoke, “…I doubt Lin Feng will be fooled by such a tactic. He might realize the truth.”

“Isn’t that why I need your assistance? It is to turn this illusion into a realistic illusion,” Wang Jian responded with a smile.

[Congratulations, Host. You have successfully planted a seed of ambition in the Protagonist Lin Feng’s underling. You obtain 50 Destiny Points.]

Wang Jian didn’t think he would receive Destiny Points for this matter as well. It was an unexpected but welcoming gain.

Fan Gen was utterly confused at this moment. Initially, he had no plans of make a deal with Wang Jian.

But now, he could feel his heart fluctuate.

“How can I help you?” Fan Gen decided to gather the details of Wang Jian’s plan. If the plan is feasible and helpful, he would apply it. And if its not, he would disclose this plan to Lin Feng.

Wang Jian noticed Fan Gen’s clever look and spoke calmly, “For us to achieve our objective, it’s necessary that Lin Feng trusts you. Monitor Lin Feng’s movements when he is the other two tribes. I will give him a few surprises.”

This seemed feasible to Fan Gen. He nodded, “Very well. I can do that. But if Lin Feng starts suspecting me, I will reveal the truth.”

Wang Jian chuckled in response, “You worry too much, Old Fan. But do understand that if you betray me, I also won’t show any mercy. You should be clear of my abilities now. I can enter your room once; I can do so again. Don’t test me.”

Wang Jian’s dark chuckle echoed in Fan Gen’s ears long after he had left the area.
