Primordial Heir: Nine Stars

After leaving the intensive care unit, Lux Leclair didn’t return to his dorm or join the other cadets. He took a single day to rest in solitude—his room lit only by sunlight streaming through stained-glass windows shaped like angelic wings.

But rest was not his goal.

On the morning of the fourth day, he made his way toward the South Training District, his long white coat fluttering behind him.

Cadets watched him pass in silence, whispering behind cupped hands.

”That’s him... The Saint of Glory Academy.”

”They say he walked through light to bring Princess Elreth back from the dead.”

”He healed her arm... fought like a divine warrior.”

Lux ignored them.

His silver eyes, warm and calm, were fixed on a singular destination—the Gravity Chambers, specialized rooms built for high-pressure, high-density combat training. Only wealthy cadets could rent them.

He arrived at the reinforced gate and flashed his cadet’s card. The attendant nodded without a word and opened the gates to let him through.

~Inside the Gravity Room – Chamber 07

The chamber was massive. A metallic dome with smooth white walls and no clear edges, covered in runes that pulsed every few seconds, releasing invisible waves of pressure. This room, specifically Room 07, had a setting that could increase gravity up to 30x Earth’s norm.

But Lux set it to 15x for now—enough to train without breaking his internal flow of prana.

”Perfect,” he murmured.

The moment the gravity activated, a thunderous weight slammed onto his shoulders. The floor vibrated, and cracks formed beneath his boots as the pressure intensified. His body was forced to adjust instantly. Veins bulged. Sweat beaded on his forehead. Muscles screamed.

And still, he stood.

He gripped his silver wand, a long staff-like instrument with an intricate filigree of white-gold running along its shaft. At the top, a sphere of radiant crystal pulsed faintly, filled with concentrated Holy Prana.

From the center of the room, mechanical groaning echoed.

From metallic alcoves in the far walls, training golems began to emerge—tall, humanoid machines crafted from enchanted steel, stone, and alchemical cores. Their glowing red eyes locked onto Lux.

[Target: Confirmed – Initiating Combat Protocol.]

Lux exhaled and raised his wand.

With a flick of his wrist, the air shimmered. Several spheres of golden light materialized above his shoulders, orbiting him in a gentle halo. His silver eyes gleamed as he whispered:

”Light Orbs.”

The orbs shot forward in an instant—like shooting stars, they collided with the first wave of golems, exploding with blinding brilliance.

BOOM!!!

Three golems were blown backward, their arms disintegrated by the light burst.

But the remaining ones advanced, raising weapons of steel and crystal, enhanced by magic. One swung a warhammer the size of a boulder.

Lux ducked, barely evading as the floor cracked beneath the impact.

Still kneeling, he whispered a second incantation.

”Judgement Beams.”

The floating orbs suddenly froze in the air. Then they splintered into beams of concentrated light, slicing through the golems like white-hot lasers. The beams curved midair as if they had intelligence, striking joints and weak spots precisely.

Limbs were severed. Golems collapsed.

But the gravity intensified.

’’Ugh!”

Lux coughed, a thread of blood at the corner of his lips. His body trembled under the pressure. The strain of controlling so many light-based spells under amplified gravity was immense.

He didn’t stop. He had to train to become stronger to prevent advent like the one who happened inside the pocket world.

More golems descended—stronger, larger, faster.

Lux’s breathing became heavier, his heart pounding against his ribcage. He pushed his wand into the ground, then stood tall, arms wide, as a sacred glyph burned itself into the air behind him—a six-winged sigil radiating holy power. It was related to the Leclair’s mystical guardian spirit.

”Saint Chaos Body—Release.”

A ring of light exploded from his feet.

His body changed. His once-frail frame shimmered with translucent silver energy. Ethereal wings of radiant prana erupted from his back—though not solid, they pulsed like living constructs. His hair billowed despite the gravity. His skin glowed faintly like a celestial being.

The second wave of golems charged.

Lux vanished.

With a sonic boom, he reappeared behind the nearest golem and drove his palm into its core. A burst of light ruptured from within, reducing the golem to molten shards.

Another swung a blade—Lux raised his wand, and it twisted midair, redirected by a gravitational warp in space he created using light refraction and inversion.

He flew, darted, and weaved through the enemies with terrifying grace. Every movement was precise. Every counter perfect.

Flash. Smash. Slash.

The final golem emerged, three times the size of the others. Its fists were coated in Void Alloy, resistant to elemental magic. It lunged forward and struck Lux across the chest, sending him flying into the chamber wall with a thunderous crash.

Rumble!

Dust rose.

The room shook.

Lux didn’t move for a moment.

Then, from the crater, a piercing light flared. His wand floated above him. He stood, blood dripping from his lips, his coat torn.

”...Not enough.”

He pointed the wand skyward. He decided to use his newly created spell.

”Divine Gate – Heaven’s Wrath.”

A spiral of light surged upward, striking the dome ceiling. The walls glowed red-hot with overload warnings. The orb at the top of the wand split open, revealing a micro-core of compressed divine light.

The spell fired—a beam so pure and concentrated it was nearly silent as it ripped through the air.

The final golem was atomized in a single moment. The chamber, reinforced as it was, groaned under the pressure.

Lux stood amid the shattered golems, gasping for air. His wings flickered, then faded. His wand returned to normal. The Saint Chaos Body deactivated, and the sigil vanished from behind him.

He fell to one knee, completely drained.

But he smiled faintly.

”It’s still not enough... I need to be stronger. For Nero. For Elreth. For all of them. I must become stronger to eradicate every single monsters and those fanatics from the Ourouboros. Those damn viles creatures must be eradicated at all cost.”

The gravity shut down with a chime. The lights dimmed to normal levels.

He left the chamber slowly, limping, his white coat tattered, his wand resting across his shoulder like a knight’s blade after battle. He cast a healing spell on himself to recover from his injuries and recover some stamina.

’’I wonder how Adam and Blake are doing? Each busy doing their things I presume.’’
